Design and Construction Website
We were hired to create a brand new website for a client. When we first sent it over to him he was so impressed with the quality of the work and how we were able to convey his brand message to clients.

Personal Trainer Website Redesign
We were hired to redesign a personal trainers website. Their previous design was not optimized and poorly designed and they did not have access to change it. When we took over we were able to provide the client with a site that properly represents their brand and provides details on all the services they offer to clients. On top of that, they have full access to their own editor to be able to update and change any aspects of the site they wish.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I own a small heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company located in Heber Springs, Arkansas. I started a little over a year ago and since then I’ve grown — and now have three vans, three trucks, and 10 employees.
What challenge were you trying to address with On Purpose Media?
On Purpose Media made sure that my website was user-friendly. They also helped me track where people were finding us and what they were searching for. In addition, the team enabled me to upload my pictures because I didn’t want any premade pictures or something that was just common in my field. Instead, I wanted to showcase my workers and my work ethic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They spent time with me while finding out about my business. They also showed me what my other website was lacking and the possible things that they could do if they were the ones who made the site.
The team started by providing consulting services, and when we agreed to go ahead with it, they helped me get my domain back from my last company because I owned it. It was a pain at first because my last company moved it over to theirs, but the team was able to work on that. They spent time meeting with my previous company, and in the end, they got the rights to my domain name back to me.
Then, as they were developing, they personally showed me what they were doing as they were building my website. They used a tool where I could see what they were doing when they decided to make changes or they explained what they need to do. In addition, they sent me a timeline and a report on how they were going to accomplish my assigned tasks.
What is the team composition?
I worked with two different people, Evan (Co-Founder) and Thaddeus (Co-Founder).
How did you come to work with On Purpose Media?
They saw me in one of the HVAC forums on Facebook, and they reached out to me after reviewing my website and saw how poor it was. That kind of blew me off at first, but they responded again in a nice way and we sat down and they showed me a few things. I appreciated that before any money was ever discussed, they first showed me how I could benefit from their company. I got a good feeling from them because they were easy to talk to.
At that time, I often received messages from other third-party companies on how they could help us get leads, how they could help us with our website, and what they could be working on. However, what stood out to me was that I’d be directly working with the team. They really built a relationship with me from day one.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $3,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The collaboration ran from August–December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The result took so long, but it was not their fault that my previous company wasn’t answering calls or emails. That third-party company was pushing us off to different people, and On Purpose Media spent a lot of time chasing them. In the end, I didn’t have to give up that domain name.
The team showed me the website clicks and calls. Once they finally took over, we received more visits from our target audience. From November to December, we had an exponential growth. It was crazy because we had so many calls — we were busy. They were successful in their endeavor of increasing the traffic to my site. The stakeholders liked that they could access it easily and it looks good on mobile.
In addition, even though the website is now up and operating, we still keep in touch with each other. Overall, it was really a great experience from day one.
How did On Purpose Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They showed me examples and gave me options. They were very hands-on, and my two main points of contact always called me. More importantly, they spent time answering my questions, so it was a real collaborative effort with both of the owners. We used phone, email, and Asana to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very personable and brought on people that have completed innovative things. I also liked that they had Wednesday web shows where they do a Facebook live and that really helped us to get to know them personally. I felt really comfortable dealing with them and having access to certain things to make some changes I wasn’t able to make. Furthermore, they were able to send me a YouTube video on how to implement changes, so I didn’t have to figure out things myself.
They gave me tasks to ensure that I could help the project move along. Moreover, they were really informative and made the transition super simple. On Purpose Media took care of everything that I wasn’t able to do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It was such a pleasurable experience as compared to what I’ve dealt with in the past. I wouldn’t know of anything they could’ve done differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t hesitate and get them on board immediately. You will definitely see results and gain an ally in your business. They truly work to make sure that your business is working the way you want it to.
