the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the CEO of an executive-friendly household product company. We sell zero-waste products in over 70 countries.
For what projects/services did your company hire PurpleFire, and what were your goals?
We were looking for an eCommerce site that operated outside our North American site. It needed to be faster and in local languages. It also needed to integrate with various warehouses and our ERP system.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We met PurpleFire during a conference in the US and they were recommended by several colleagues. We shortlisted to a few firms including our internal developers. They were experienced, understood our needs and were able to make our timelines.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Main scope of work was to duplicate our already proven site that operated on a proprietary platform. Initiate phase was to create a theme we could use in any country which could be easily Sou-up as demand grew. Second phase was to create our Europe version in three languages. Then the integration to our 3PL and our ERP system was the last part of the scope.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager was the main point of contact on the project. Entire team was unknown.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Speed is exceptional Look and feel actually improved upon our North American site. Data integration was clean and smooth.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We created a slack channel for all communication. Our team had several people directly communicating with the project manager and she was amazing.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed with their depth of knowledge on Shopify and their ability to shape it to fit our unique situation.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They did not push us for more features and additional billing’s which is usually a good thing. May be optional items they see to improve further. Otherwise nothing needed to change.

Trendy & Fast-loading Ecommerce Project
The goal was to build a high-level modern website with clothes to buy, blog and with the ability to add reviews from customers from scratch. Our team did all branding, website, and all socks design even. The project was launched and we are currently maintaining and supporting it.
https://rockay.com/

Industry leader in running gear & reviews!
This web project has expanded from being a simple blog and content website to becoming an authority in the industry for all things running.
We hooked up the website to their affiliate partners such as Amazon, Running Warehouse to generate links, images, and content automatically.
The client was constantly pushing boundaries to increase the click-through rate to their clients and thus we were constantly improving the design, load speed, and working with the website to accommodate their needs.

Complex Trading software for NFTs on Opensea
NFT Handshake has been a huge complex development process.
Not only did we develop their website, but we also developed the trading software behind the scenes.
This software allows their customers to flip and trade NFTs on Opensea on the Ethereum and Solana blockchain.
The project is ongoing and we have 3 developers working on new features and development full time.
The software works in any browser, on mobile phones, and runs in the cloud so that traders will not have to power any devices for it to work.

Worldpress Ecommerce & Woocommerce Solution
Sleeklens is a highly customized eCommerce solution built on WordPress and Woocommerce.
The customer wanted to use WP in order to allow their staff to easily manage new content, and new products and deliver digital products for their customers.
Almost nothing within this solution was possible with the regular Wordpress or woo-commerce tools and plugins. For that reason, we developed most plugins and solutions from scratch or on top of what was already available.
From start to finish we focused on:
Easy navigation on both the front (customer side) and the back - admin side.
Frontend speed - Making sure everything loads fast
Scalability - Allowing Sleeklens to grow their service without problems
Design - Working with their design team to make the website tells the right story and brand DNA.

Travel Content blogging website
The client wanted a modern and stylish blog-style website for their growing media business.
The design had to feel authentic to the travel industry and yet be very easy to navigate and browse.
We created custom logos, and icons and went with a very minimal design appearance.
On the backend, we connected their website with the Amazon API and other 3rd party services needed for the affiliate side of things.
Finally we made sure the website is backed up, secured and updated automatically and we are monitoring this as an ongoing service for the client.

Authority site in the Baby industry
Borncute is a leader in the industry of baby & toddlers. They produce content to their millions of visitors. We were tasked to give them a design and backend system that allowed them to scale dramatically.
The design was very important to them because they wanted parents to feel comfortable and in the right place.
To allow them to build content for their visitors, we build a complex backend system that makes it easy for them to create visually stunning content without having to deal with any technical stuff.
We also keep the site safe from hackers by providing automated updating, DDoS protection and keeping the server save.

Outdoor industry known content website
Gearweare is a member of the Amazon Services LLC affiliate program. That's why our team was tasked to develop a multi-purpose affiliate product with well-thought-out navigation and content organization, to simplify and automate the processes of the administrative panel as much as possible. Along with this, the website should be optimized for loading speed without harming its functionality, and integrated with marketing tools to ensure organic traffic.
The Unilime team has extensive experience with affiliate programs. Our designers have developed a corporate theme for the site. We have created a project based on the needs of the user in order to make the interaction with the site convenient, pleasant and memorable. For each target article, we've created and integrated into the site a quick product selection and description system. Gearweare has a good conversion rate and fast-growing organic traffic, thanks to impeccably tuned SEO and data structuring schemes that improve Google search results.

Gym site focused on quality
GarageGymBuilder is a website that provides comprehensive information about all gym related products to those who own a home gym. This includes different sports equipment, supplements, clothing and accessories. GarageGymBuilder is updated daily with honest and direct product reviews, resourceful buying guides, and blog articles intended to make the home gym experience easier.
Their goal is to spread awareness of all the benefits of creating your own home gym, avoiding unnecessary expenses.
Client problem:
We were faced with the task of improving the visual composition of the website that contains a large amount of data and requires systematization and appropriate navigation. Along with that, we were asked to optimize the admin panel and devise a system that would allow the migration of the content onto the new design of the website.
Solution:
The conversion of the website was ameliorated by developing an individual custom design. We then improved the user experience by introducing attractive and intelligible product comparison pages. The site is saturated with various gym gear products, so we have added a function for ranking equipment according to specified criteria: convenience, material, durability, portability, etc. And last but not least, we also transferred the content to a new design using special content migration scripts that our team has developed.

Gift Affiliate Project
If you have ever experienced trouble coming up with the idea for the right present then That Sweet Gift is just what you need. This review website gathers a lot of gift ideas for different occasions. Here you can easily find suitable presents for your loved ones, colleagues and kids. The editors of the website spend countless hours browsing for gifts that are not only worth your money but also are worth holding a deeper meaning for both you and the recipient.
It is one of the most visited review websites in the world with over 400k satisfied users per month.
Client problem:
Having a wide range of products to choose from is beneficial for the users, however, if not organized or displayed properly, could confuse visitors, so our main task with this project was to catalog all the gift ideas and create an interface that would allow visitors to navigate through categories efficiently.
Solution:
We have created a user-friendly interface that allows easily navigating through the wide range of present ideas gathered on the website. The design is really bright and eye-catching, a wide range of colors was used for different categories, the price range slider was introduced to further facilitate the search process. The animation at the top of the home page portrays the hard work the editors do carefully picking each product to be featured on the website to ease the gift selection for the users.

I like that Purplefire assigned a project manager for us. it made it very easy to communicate with them. They were always proactive and would let us know whenever they had any updates for us. We used Slack for communication. They made a channel just for us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I like how they kept overdelivering in every aspect. They were quick to come up with ideas and suggestions for the project we had asked them to do. They were ahead of schedule the whole time and we didn't feel we ever had to follow up on anything. This made the whole process so much easier.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
So we did not know that had so many offerings. We got a SaaS idea we want to develop soon but it was only when we were done with the original project, that we learned they also handle this type of work. They should tell us about all their offerings sooner in the process!

For what projects/services did your company hire PurpleFire, and what were your goals?

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I got a recommendation from one of my partners.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a call to explain everything about the company that needs the website and its goals. The first task/step was to deliver to us a design that we would approve. Already the first design was great and we approved it with just a few tweaks that should be done. After the design has been approved they start working on the website. The website has been built with WordPress CMS. We have a lot of custom things/plugins that they needed to custom build for us.

I'm the Content Director of Sleeklens.com, an e-commerce site for photographers looking to acquire Lightroom, Photoshop & Luminar tools and educational resources in digital format.
For what projects/services did your company hire PurpleFire, and what were your goals?
We wanted our website to have a fresher design to meet the demands of the current market. As a complex project with many custom-made elements inside of WordPress, it was crucial to count with experienced developers so the site didn't get bloated with too much JavaScript code and affected our metrics performance for Google Ranking. They presented us a fresh design, with a very neat UI, integration for the store, blog and podcast; also different templates for the product categories, and ongoing support.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched via different platforms for qualified developers in Europe, and after looking at their portfolio, price range and estimated time of delivery, it seemed the perfect call.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The entire project was managed via Slack, with ongoing videocalls to discuss specific details. We had a test server in which the new site design was being tested, so that way we didn't interrupt our operations. One crucial item was to test the site as a customer, so that way we were able to review in which aspects customers may be driven away and how to fix them - and PurpleFire was amazing with that as they immediately addressed the issue, and proposed a new solution (sometimes several) for us to test again. For the email marketing elements, PSD files were delivered to us as mockups.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager was our ongoing contact. Also the company owner, and their team of designers, frontend and backend developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching the new site the conversion rate significantly increased. For us, the key element of this project was to increase the security layers for our customer's data, and that went even beyond our expectations.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had Skype/Slack calls, Slack workspace to discuss the entire project so our team could also give feedback to the different areas of this project. And whenever we reported an issue, that was done via email, with less than 2 hrs between the response time with a solution.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The down-to-earth approach so people that are not familiar with web development can easily understand what's being created or changed at any stage of the project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Despite the timezone differences (we're an international team), we didn't experience any inconveniences. Mostly they had to wait for us to reply as they texted too early for our timezone.
