Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the owner of Hamilton’s Appliance, an appliance retail store.
What challenge were you trying to address with Purple Folder?
We needed someone to recover the data that we had lost.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Purple Folder provides us with ongoing IT services and consultation. We initially contacted them to recover some lost data so they made their over to our establishment. After about 20 minutes or so, they were able to recover the data that the other providers couldn’t.
From there, we put them on a retainer for monthly ongoing diagnostics and support.
What is the team composition?
I primarily work with Chris (Owner).
How did you come to work with Purple Folder?
I found them online while researching data recovery services. I had actually called another company first before contacting Purple Folder, but they referred me over to their team because it wasn’t a service that they offered.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve probably invested close to $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had quite a few hardware failures and technical issues but whenever we brought them up to Purple Folder, they were able to fix it immediately.
I haven’t lost any data since partnering with them and they made our jobs a lot easier and more automated.
How did Purple Folder perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform well from a project management perspective and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Chris takes charge of the entire project and he has been very communicative since the beginning to tell me what to expect and what he could and couldn’t do.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re impressed with their responsiveness and honesty when it comes to communication.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they need to improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to call them right away. Everything that they’ve done for us has made our lives easier, and it has also helped me focus on the core of my business.
