I`m the e-commerce manager in Ukrainian office of international company Josera. Company specializes in manufacturing of petfood and food for cows, pigs, horces and smart farming products under own brand - FarmChamps

For what projects/services did your company hire Proacto, and what were your goals?

We hired Proacto to fix problems that we had with our website created on Magento. Previous agency was constantly draining money from us without visible progress and as we understood later - where using modules that actually where not compatible together and after upgrade to newer versions - some just failed and parts of website were dead.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As we are petfood company - we have a lot of customers with which we directly work to deliver orders. One of our clients was actually Andrew from Proacto and ones he called and said about problems that he experience on a website, but he was not offering himself, just said about the problems.

So we asked the previous company if they may solve them - and they started to maneuver and avoiding actual solving. Then we started to call every agency that work with Magento in Lviv (our operation office location) and one of them where Proacto.

On a first meeting it we where suprised to meet Andrew and as he already knew about problems and whole team where acting as proffesionals (without additional selling of themselves or trying to show super value - just showing exactly what we where asking for) we decided to work together

First scope was on Magento. Later we had few small projects (landings, partner map, small shop and webinars) on WordPress. New checkout, new payment methods, delivery module, conversion tracking and triggers for online marketing. Rework of most of modules and correct upgrading to newer version of Magento

A project manager directly, back-, front- developers. Designer on WP (we dont need one with Magento, there where minor changes).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have greatly increased Conversion Rate in general, because site is way may more responsible and fast. Also huge increase in revenue because of new payment methods, but this is more social and quality of life improvement with their hands. Main positive thing, except of stable work, is that meetings with guys are enjoyable. They dont make me nervous.

We use Skype and Telegram for messaging, guys always respond realy fast. Track tasks in Jira. Few times we had big meetings for understanding problems and solutions - hackatons.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I will copy myself here - guys dont make me feel nervous: They do their job, speak in understandable language, and don't ask for too much money)

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe if they grow to bigger team and have more different developers we could work on apps also, because this is interesting for us, but im not sure if there specialists in that field in their team. To be honest - i never asked if they do have someone)

They were very open-minded people working on conscience. I mean, when they do their job, they do it as for themselves, so that the result, in any scenario, will be of high quality.

I wish them to expand their activities all over EU.

Since we don’t have in-house development team every development project we have we hire Proacto. 7 projects by now.

The estimated delivery was crucial for us as we were choosing for the first time. Then the estimates were followed.

Now that we have 7 projects behind it is very expected process for us. We set requirements and designs for our customer’s needs. Than we get the estimates and range of solutions for the project. Than we have delivery iterations.

As we have 7 projects now I can highlight projects that generated x10 sales due to marketing strategy and skillful tech solutions provided. The other project closed the presale phase with 23% sales while the market average is around 10%.

We have daily chats with managers from both sides. Once a week we get a review of tasks done. Whenever it's needed, we get grooming sessions.

"Future Prognosis" is a very ambitious project, and will comprise a unique level of entertainment that user will recognize.

How did you select Proacto and what were the deciding factors?

We got a personal recommendation, and after a test pilot, we have learned to appreciate the honesty, dedication and tech level in the assigned team.

The start point was problematic, with money spent on some costly IT-partners who was not structured, but costly. The main points from PROACTO have been very structured deliveries, premium design, and cost effective.

I have worked with one Project Manager, and PROCTO's chief designer.

The first results have been with our partner up with Media-Partners in Norway, and in final preparations for launch in Asia and Australia.

The planning process have been adjusted to our travels, and we have used various tools for communication, like Skype, ZOOM and others.

First point: their honesty! They follow the schedules agreed for delivery, and the design and tech planning have met our satisfaction.

I would like them to also manage languages like Japanese and Chinese!

Proacto was the first to offer us cooperation. After several successful small projects, we entrusted them with the development of our corporate website.

This is a large-scale project which includes:

1. Network delivery distribution point (more than 30 delivery sites)
2. Map of restaurants of the network (more than 80 restaurants) Display of each page of the institution with its features separately.

All pages contain the necessary filters, which are very user-friendly. The whole site is designed according to the brand book of our company and is very interactive.
