Since 1969, the French company Somfy develops the best solutions in the field of household and industrial automation. From the release of the very first electric drive for roller shutters to the development of the smart home system, Somfy makes the lives of millions of people around the world better and more comfortable. Today, the company is represented in 58 countries of the globe and runs 125 branches with 8,000 employees.
We had to inform potential buyers on the new Movelite-35 electric drive for classic curtains, Sonesse 30 WireFree RTS electric drive for electric curtains and the premium Glydea Ultra electric drive. Along with the client, we have decided to involve not only mass media, but also social networks in the project.
Before we started, we have studied in detail the features of each of the new models and passed a two-day training in the company in order to better understand the benefits of Somfy products.
The project has lasted three months and resulted in 55 publications in targeted media. News and articles on Somfy products were posted at HOUSESDESIGN.RU, COTTAGE.RU, ROOMBLE.RU, WOMAN.RAMBLER.RU, 7YA.RU, as well as on the YANDEX MARKET JOURNAL. At the same time, we have chosen Instagram bloggers for Somfy to publish riveting and useful posts intended for end-users and interior designers. We also helped Somfy with creating a quarterly news digest for dealers and partners by writing high-quality selling texts for it.
All this helped the company quickly and efficiently convey information on the benefits of the brand and its product novelties to the targeted audience.

PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. is a leading Czech independent pharmaceutical company, supplying its products to more than 25 countries around the globe.
In November 2017, within the framework of the Russian-Czech Business Forum in Moscow, a cooperation agreement was signed between pharmaceutical companies ZiO-Zdorovie CJSC (Russia) and PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. (Czech). The document marked the beginning of the production in Russia of two major PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. medications - “Ursosana” and “Indapa”.
Signing of the agreement was attended by the Czech President Milos Zeman, Chairman of the Czech Economic Chamber Vladimir Dlougi, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin, Director General of ZiO-Zdorovie CJSC Nikolay Safonov and Director General of PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. Ivan Danek.
PR Formula agency was assigned to cover this event as widely as possible in the industry local media.
The news of signing the agreement between ZiO-Zdorovie CJSC and PRO.MED.CS Praha a.s. was published in the leading media on medicine and pharmaceuticals, including “Farmvestnik”, remedium.ru and vademec.ru.

PR Formula’s services have been both high-quality and cost-effective. The team’s contributions have led to a 300% decrease in PR expenses and have factored into the company’s 15% growth in yearly revenue. Despite having relatively limited resources, they’re a flexible and fast team that can deliver.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a pharmaceutical company headquartered in the Czech Republic. I work in the Russian representative office, where I’m a group product manager responsible for direct-to-consumer marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with PR Formula?
We offer a wide variety of products, so we struggled to find an angle through which we’d gain media exposure. We wanted more press coverage and a way for medical professionals to promote our products.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PR Formula coordinated pathways for us to have doctors and medical professionals promote our products in newspapers, magazines, and websites. Using professional language, they generated content in the form of promotional articles, which they had published on different outlets. It’s proved to be a cheaper option than directly pitching our ideas to publications.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with Marina (Owner and CEO, PR Formula) and two other people. Marina is my point of contact for any and all questions.
How did you come to work with PR Formula?
Marina contacted us a few years ago and delivered a proposal. After meeting them to discuss it, they seemed to be able to reach the media outlets we wanted. Upon engaging them for a trial period of about six months, we decided to kick off a long-term collaboration with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with PR Formula in 2017 and have an ongoing relationship.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
PR Formula has created articles that have generated sales. Thanks to them, we were able to reduce our respective expenses by 300%. While PR Formula’s work is only one of our media initiatives, it’s definitely contributed to our 15% increase in growth (compared to the previous year). We’ve been absolutely pleased with their services.
How did PR Formula perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s been a comfortable, smooth engagement. They’re great at handling tasks on short-notice; for instance, if we need data and figures, they’re quick to provide it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
While it’s a tough market to compete in, PR Formula has done a great job.

I’m excited to see them grow since they’re already flexible and fast with the fairly few resources they do have.
