I am the newly appointed Operations Manager for the company and am responsible to oversee the overall functions of the company. My responsibilities also include designing and implementing ways to increase efficiency, cut losses, and maximize profit.
The company is an academy that focuses on child enrichment through sports, motion arts, and specifically rhythmic gymnastics as a foundation to empower the next generation to develop & succeed.
For what projects/services did your company hire Plus972?
Our company is in the process of moving past the start-up phase, as well as developing the infrastructure to enable further expansion. We required assistance to develop an annual plan, guidance to finalize the goals for the company moving forward, and training for the position of operations manager.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
Plus972 was recommended by the CEO due to their previous work history together and Plus972's overall portfolio and success rate.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
We worked to draft, finalize, edit, and go through several rounds of review with the main stakeholders of the company to ensure alignment in the vision for the company as well as dictating the goals for each department. Based on this information, the annual work plan was drafted and a Gantt was designed to incorporate the milestones and events required to meet the annual goals.
Detailed training was provided with regards to the role of an operations manager in terms of presenting the annual plan to each department, finalizing communications & meetings frameworks, and best practices for the development of business strategy.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Our POC's title was Partner, Israel, and we worked with him through each stage of the project as well as going through the training procedures.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
Having the annual plan and the training has equipped me personally to know the right questions to ask at the right time, as well as ensuring that there is a clear structure to the company in terms of communications and workflow.
The training helped all of the departments to form a base from which to expand from, and has also shown the areas where significant changes and cuts should be made in preparation for the execution of the company's goals for this year and for those to come.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Despite the significant time differences between our regions, scheduling was efficient and accurate. Communication was easy. Plus972 was always ready to provide support, guidance, and assistance.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
One of the major factors was the wide portfolio and significant level of experience that Plus972 represents. This is clear from the way that the document was drafted and how the training was provided. We felt that our work with the POC efficiently covered in a few sessions what takes other companies several years of training and experience to go through.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I would not change the process as I believe that it is better to review and discuss again rather than to move quickly and risk miscommunication.

We are a multinational Search Engine Optimization company located in Poland. We were looking for a partnership based on mutual understanding while being committed and walking the extra mile and insightful every step of the way - and they were able to provide us with exactly that. They were very robust in their work and not only presented us with a design that worked perfectly in all aspects of what we wanted to achieve and then, after being approved by us and our client from Israel, they were able to prepare a very elegant WordPress + WooCommerce site with code that was ranked extremely well in all of the metrics we used to check it.

We found them using Clutch and really fell in love with their prior designs - right of the bat we were certain they were a good partner for our needs and boy, did they deliver.

Kim and Reuben provided us with a site design that they later coded with amazing results. They were communicating with us only while we provided them with comments from us and our client.

We worked with a dedicated project manager with the help of Plus972 CEO who also allowed us to contact both the devs and designers directly.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have been praised by our clients on multiple occasions and the design prepared by Plus972 is simply spectacular. The revenue brought forth by the site is good, too! We’re only in the first couple of weeks past the site’s launch, but the transaction rate is as positive as we had been hoping for.

They were very keen on explaining everything that raised any doubts for us. They were quick to respond, insightful and their help was invaluable in reaching our goals. Their expertise proved second to none and the project manager we worked with was very empathetic and helpful all throughout the way.

I am the head of marketing at a PropTech firm based in London. We work with clients in commercial real estate.
For what projects/services did your company hire Plus972?
Our website was built over 10 years ago and had become very bland and outdated. We don’t have any internal team members skilled in web design and so we hired Plus972 to provide the site design and complete the build for us. Since doing this, we have noticed a notable difference in user experience and engagement from our clients. And we are hoping to continually increase our traffic substantially by the end of the year.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our wider business, based in NYC had the original relationship with this agency, and after reviewing their previous work and their project proposal, we chose this group because of their experience, quality of work, personable team, and affordable price.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After a series of workshop meetings to discuss our objectives and reasons for the project, Plus 972 came back to us with a concept design that would align with the style of their previous completed work on our other company corporate site. Our project was part of a roll out due to a recent acquisition and so therefore we were looking to align the brands and styling of the two companies, to a design that would feel similar and like they were from the same group, but still with keeping their individual identity.
Plus972 came back to us after the initial workshops sessions with a full concept design, and other than a few additions, and a couple of minor edits, they had captured essentially everything we were looking for. From there, we have been working together building, uploading, and translating content. Our site is a multi-site and was required to be built in three languages (one being English). The process itself was reasonably easy and smooth, with their team always on hand for questions and timely responses should we want to discuss alternatives/re-visit other ideas to implement.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total, we worked with 4 people throughout the project including the Managing Director, a project manager, a designer and web developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
From the website and backend that Plus972 delivered, our team are able to easily implement new content updates without any hassle. The backend design and structure they created, is slick, simple and easy to use – which is a huge improvement from the old Wordpress backend that we were using previously (which used to look like a messy mash up of content and templates, built on top of each other continuously with no clear structure).
We continue to hear positive feedback from those in the business and from clients who visit our site. Users keep telling us how much easier it is now to navigate in order to find the content they’re looking for.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided us with frequent updates. Given both our teams and their team are across continents, our meetings were all held on video calls, however it also worked great because of the global times. We may filter through updates/requests whilst in one timezone that needed action, and if it was after hours they would either complete in out of hours to ensure it was done, or there are other members in other timezones that can jump in to action.
Which gives peace of mind whenever there may be deadlines to be conscious of. Most feedback was done through email and tasks and progress would be tracked on google sheets to ensure all details were captured and actioned. The team were always very responsive, and would provide ample warning if a deadline was approaching and there were any outstanding items to ensure we could meet/cover these.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was most impressed at how quickly Plus972 understood the task at hand, and how quickly they provided the proposed concept design. With their mixed experiences, and background in not only web design but also a thorough understanding of marketing, they really did cover all angles and provided the best solution first time round. Which always made it a smooth process, and easy working with them. Although we’ve worked with many agencies, this project was a particularly collaborative and great experience.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Things could always be done faster, but quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a fantastic product, that we’re all very proud of.

As well as completing design work, they conducted research on different ways that we could connect with interested parties as it relates to websites or prompts. If a customer came onto the website, they could click and they would write their information there instead of receiving it in an email.

We initially hired Plus972 to build our site, lead marketing efforts, and target our clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did all of our media. They made templates for the website and other marketing tools and they did our mailings. Plus972 helps us every 4-5 months whenever we have a large business intake. They help us market ourselves by coming up with the strategy for and leading our content development. In the past, they also designed the notepads that we give to all of our clients.
What is the team composition?
There are two people who help us. I usually work with Reuben (CEO, Plus972) when it comes to creative strategy. He oversees the project, but he assigns someone else to us to do all of the work.
How did you come to work with Plus972?
We were referred to them by one of our clients who worked with them in the past.

So far, we’ve invested around $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We did our first project with them in January 2017 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Through working with them, we’ve gotten good social media exposure, as well as a good return on the mailings we did for the jewelry industry. At one point, we were also trying to come up with creative ways to provide services to real estate firms, which is very difficult considering their turnaround time.
They’ve helped us achieve our goals, so we try to use them whenever we can. After working with them on our website and templates, we saw some growth. Our clients love the flyers that Plus972 designed and are very satisfied with the quality. We haven’t received any complaints.
How did Plus972 perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very structured, perhaps a little too structured for me, but they’re great. We communicate with them mostly via email, and then we follow-up with a phone call. We also meet them in person.

I am the director of product and business development at Popbar. We sell gelato, sorbet, and hot chocolate on a stick, both on our own website and on Amazon. Currently, we have 25 stores in the US and Canada and are actively franchising and building our business, including adding actual stores and catering stores.
What challenge were you trying to address with Plus972?
We were looking to redo our website after an engagement with another vendor didn’t give us the results we were looking for.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Plus972 redesigned our website, starting from the ground up. Their team helped a lot with the catering section of our websites. We have various stores but want people to be able to order form anywhere. They helped us with the back-end of the system, adding a place for customers to put in the zip code for where the order needs to be delivered.
The Plus972 team also helped revised our imagery and colors, working in conjunction with our own design team. They helped modernize the overall look and feel of our site. Plus972 is currently working on the wireframes and imagery, as well as discussing the flow of the website with us.

We hired Plus972 to design and create a new website.

They designed the new site from scratch and delivered matching business cards. Reuben (Founder & CEO, Plus972) printed everything on paper to show us how each page would look before making final edits. We also received envelopes and other stationery designs.

I worked directly with Reuben, but there was a larger team that helped him.
How did you come to work with Plus972?
Reuben was great at promoting himself, and it just so happened that we needed a new website. We liked what he was proposing—I know him personally, and he has impeccable taste—and I felt like I could trust him from the very beginning.
It was also clear that he understood how to listen to clients well, partly because he is so patient. I thought that he would be the ideal fit for the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2017, and the site was done in February 2018.

We’ve received positive feedback from clients, and the site has garnered more attention for our company. I was much more excited about promoting this new website instead of our old one.

They performed well because they were so precise. We did most of our communicating through email, and the project was done quickly, within 4–6 months.
Whenever a deliverable took longer to finish, it was usually because we were busy on our end and weren’t following through with needed information. Reuben was always attentive and great about sending reminders.

Reuben did an amazing job. He was able to understand exactly what we wanted to present to our clientele and fulfilled our requirements very nicely. He would also come to our office to show us his designs in person.
My father, who is president of the company, needed more help to understand the new website. Reuben made sure to show him hard copies of images to give him an idea of what the site would look like. I keep ordering from him because he treats us so well.

I work at a coworking and coliving space based in South East Asia, and my role as a Global Marketing Manager is to head up branding + creative development. That includes partnerships with creative agencies, journalists and directly with our members, plus working to maintain our branding throughout every touchpoint of our business.
For what projects/services did your company hire Plus972?
While I was working on the marketing team for a coworking and coliving space in South East Asia, Reuben and his team helped us build a membership portal that was fully functional and also considered our branding and design needs.
Rarely do you find web developers who understand both branding/design and the functionality of a website, especially through the lens of user experience on that site. They built us a platform that allowed members of our spaces to more easily book our services while also having a chance to interact and get to know one another on a virtual platform we've never had before.
The team at plus972 was a breath of fresh air to work with. I highly recommend their services and look forward to the chance to work with them again.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to build a fully functional system so members could track their hours, renew their memberships, find out about events and reserve Skype booths without having to chat with our front desk staff in person.
In addition to the functional benefits of the platform, we also wanted this membership portal to help us establish a community online. While it's been great for members to attend events or use our Slack channel, we also wanted a backend portal where they could filter for members who offered the services they were looking for, or who would be interested in going on a weekend trip.
How did you select this vendor?
We found out about them because the founder Reuben was passing through Bali (one of our main locations) and posted in our members' slack channel.
When I checked out the plus972 portfolio and had a chance to meet Reuben (plus some of his team members who are based here in Bali full time), we were able to discuss the project in more detail and come to a great solution.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
As mentioned before, the task was to develop a membership portal. It evolved with us, because we were so happy with plus972's work.
At first we were going to launch this portal in phases (just part 1 to start being the functionality - booking rooms and Skype booths and finding out how many hours are left in your membership.
Then, we thought phase 2 would come much later - likely next year. This would be our focus on member communications and connectivity). Since Reuben and his team were efficient and very talented, we were able to complete Phase 1 very quickly, so we looked to them to continue the project with us well into phase 2.
They completed the whole thing from start to finish in less than 6 months, and that was with a whole lot of back and forth on our end (stopping and stalling the project due to funding challenges or disagreements internally).
What was the team composition?
We worked closely with Tiago, the head of Web Development at plus972 who also happens to be a member of our services. Tiago leads a team of 5 developers based in Bali, which was extremely convenient for us.
The plus972 team works on a global scale with employeees on almost every continent, and so does our team, so this meant we understood each other right away.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Ultimately we are very happy with the portal and have already gotten some positive feedback from members. It helps that Reuben is based in NYC and has extensive experience with WeWork and some familiarity with the Wing. We have been interested in seeing how these competitors operate their member portals and Reuben had a lot of intel about that.
Already, because this platform exists, its been a lot easier for our members to just click 'Renew now' to their membership, in turn helping boost our sales with minimal effort.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
As mentioned, the global element of the Plus972 team meant there was someone available nearly around the clock. We worked in Bali mainly, with the Bali team, but had the NY team online at the opposite end of our day.
They also work to a US standard. I come from NYC originally and was very impressed with the professionalism of plus972 to initiate contracts and formalize the process to the US standard.
We communicated extensively through all the remote software (Google Hangouts, Trello, Slack, Facetime, etc) and luckily found it to be very fluid since both of our teams are already experienced with remote working.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their connectivity and globalization. I've encountered few companies with the breadth of services of Plus972 (from branding, which is also my skillset down to web design and development) that ALSO operate in this flexible mindset towards the future world of working.
Remote, across time zones, across cultures (During our time together we communicated with Indonesian, Portuguese, American, Chinese, Israeli and Romanian teammates at Plus972, and that's probably not all of them).
Are there any areas for improvement?
Sure, there always is. Perhaps part of the challenge came from our team not being more explicit up front about what exactly we needed. I mentioned that we were thinking of just getting help with Phase 1 to start - ultimately, Reuben and the plus972 team were able to deliver upon our needs and were very patient with us along the way.
However, the project was a big investment for us (could definitely be completed for less here in Bali) but we knew this going into it - we got NYC quality work while living and working on the other side of the world.

I am employed in a law firm which focuses on Criminal Law, Matrimonial Law, and Family Law. I am a legal associate in the company and one of my responsibilies is hiring the people in charge of the company's website, SEO, marketing etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire Plus972?
Our company's website and marketing was outdated, therefore we were in a desperate need a brand new look. We hired Plus 972 to give us a fresh start.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a more presentable and modern website which contained an easy to use contact form. Increasing Google Impressions, clicks, and CTR was also the primary focus given the very cut throat competitive nature of the industry.
How did you select this vendor?
Referrals. We spoke at length with other individuals who worked with Plus 972. From the first time we discussed this project, I felt at ease, knowing that they were very competent.
Throughout the various meetings, every step taken toward was thoroughly discussed, without leaving any details out. We are now almost two years in and we have seen a great improvement for our firm overall.

Since we pretty much started from stratch with everything, it's a continuous back and forth, face to face, via phone and e-mail etc. Including with the periodic reports.

Not that I am an expert or anything on the topic and that is why we needed to hire a company like Plus 972 but everyone compliments our website, it looks, and how organized it is. Our Impressions, click etc increased by about 1000%. We went from being ghosts to the first page on Google for most relevant search terms.
This together with Social Media has been very effective too as our company is receiving more phone call directly linked to these efforts.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I was the only person from my firm dealing with them so it made the whole process easier. It was very effective as every team member at Plus 972 has a very determined role

Again, what I find most impressive about this company is the number of qualified and diverse people it employs which brings different perspectives. Their dedication and professionalism are to be admired.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can really think of. From the very beginning I stressed the importance of not being superficial in any detail. Given the size and complexity of this project, I feel that the implementation time was great. Same with the results.
Despite the time differences, Plus972 displayed efficient and accurate scheduling and workflow. They delivered an annual plan and training that highly equipped the client and ensured a clear structure to the company's communications. The technical assistance they provided was top-notch.
