As a seed-stage healthcare startup, our first marketing site was a scrappy one-pager built custom by one of our devs. The storytelling, including both content copy and visuals, were outdated and hadn't been updated in a year's time, and no longer reflected the value we provide and “sell” to customers as a company.

We were recommended Ravi and the Pixer team by a startup founder we deeply trusted in our network.

We had an ambitious 1 month project scoped to design and develop a completely new website. Our designer created Figma mockups for 7~ different templated layouts:

• (a) landing page,
• (b) product page,
• (c) solutions page,
• (d) integrations page,
• (e) about us page,
• (f) blog page,
• (g) blog post page.

The designer then passed the Figma files onto Pixer to develop using Webflow. They did so in 2 weeks including a few iterations of feedback and QA.

We primarily worked with Ravi as our primary contact. He worked as our "project manager" in translating any feedback / scopes / questions to and from other Pixer team members. This was an extremely clear and efficient way of working.

The primary goals of the website update were to:

• (a) the conversion rate for new prospects booking a sales demo through the site, and
• (b) educating existing prospects and customers about the product and company through the site.

Both goals were met! We saw 20% increase in demos booked in the following weeks after launching the site and have been able to iterate flexibly using the no-code Webflow CRM that Pixer set up, e.g., in publishing 1 blogpost a week, A/B testing landing page copy. Cherry on top was being able to get an entirely new marketing site up in a month's time and their affordable price point for early-stage startups.

One thing we were concerned about was the time difference and remote nature of working with an international team like Pixer (we were based in New York, Pixer's based in India). However, Pixer was timely and incredible at communicating and extremely accommodating of our time zones. We primarily communicated on Slack async and always got a response within <1-2 hours to any of our questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're incredible Webflow developers and so kind and thoughtful to work with. After we launched our site, we had a few one-off requests that Ravi and Pixer team kindly jumped in to help us with + give us tutorials on.

We hired Pixer because we wanted to upgrade our web presence. Pixer redesigned all of our pages. The changes included some interactive components that were complex and extremely well done.

We had a kick off meeting with Ravi, after which we immediately knew that they would be a great agency to work with. After that, we put together a list of projects which a small spec associated with each one. The Pixer completed these projects one after another, in an extremely short time period. For each project, the Pixer team first shared a Figma file so that we can find agreement on design, and then they translated the Figma file into a pixel-perfect version on Webflow. What I also really liked about working with Pixer is that they went above and beyond when it came structuring the project in a smart cohesive way, so that future improvements are easy.

We launched the redesigned website in less than 4 months and have received positive feedback from everyone we asked.

We used Notion for project management. Ravi ensured that start dates and estimated end dates were always updated. And we communicated over Slack. The team was extremely responsive.

We first got a design suggestion in Figma, which was awesome. After we submitted some improvements, Pixer immediately started to build the website in Webflow. Throughout the whole project we had good communication and our feedback was implemented immediately.

It only took a few days until we had a comprehensive proposal for the redesign of our website, which included 15 pages. The implementation was also extremely fast and feedback was used immediately. In addition, the developers were always very accessible

We needed a landing page for the launch of a new learning program, which allowed the team for customization and adaptation of content without development but at the same time had top-quality look & feel and delivered complex information.

SOLUTION

How did you select Pixer and what were the deciding factors?

We recruited Pixer on Upwork after posting a job there, main factors were quick response, competitive price, and outstanding portfolio.

We shared a first requirements doc through PDF and Miro with content and structure of the page, which was the base for the quotation and initial mockup from the Pixer team. We iterated and validated the mockup on Figma in a matter of a few days, then the team went on to developing on Webflow. We also iterated there, using Mockup to deliver specific feedback on different parts of the webpage. Finally, the team transferred the complete project onto our Webflow account, and assisted us after the transfer as well when we encountered minor tech issues.

We spoke directly to the project manager, and briefly interacted with a Webflow designer as well.

The landing page was delivered one day earlier than agreed deadline and quality exceeded expectations.

Communication was quick and responsive despite time zone differences, and collaboration happened with all the standard tools (Miro, Slack, Figma, Mockup). After an initial quick call of 30 minutes to introduce the project and another 20 minutes call to finalize the deal, we were always able to communicate in written form through Slack or email.

They produce high-quality designs combined with fast responses, clear communication, and great support.

We delivered a detailed prototype and requested it to be implemented in Webflow with certain modifications. Pixer was quick to take our prototype and start turning around results in a matter of days. This was really exciting for us, as we were waiting eagerly to help Pixer turn things around.

I count that we worked with at least 5 people. Everyone conducted work in a swift and professional manner.

The project is nearly done, but so far I have been very satisfied with the results of working with pixer. They are very competent and knowledgeable in their area of expertise.

We conducted work in Basecamp, Trello, Webflow and Slack. Pixer fit right into my usual systems, which I really enjoyed.
