Secondly, they captured key data on four questions identified by our team.

I have a single point of contact but can inquire directly with Pereus Marketing’s phone bank operators when necessary.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project has been quite successful. We started on a one-off basis but have since moved to assigning them monthly campaigns. It’s allowed us to focus on closing sales and expanding into three additional states.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication has never been a problem. They have a very effective onboarding process. Mistakes do happen, but they're corrected quickly. We have access to key data points to measure performance, and we hold a monthly review to make quick pivots and adjustments.

Their professionalism is at a best-in-industry level. They’ve exceeded our expectations.

Every business has areas for improvement. We’ve had a few minor glitches, but in some cases, they were due to information we either provided or failed to provide. Pereus has always been very willing to correct any problem, be it their fault or ours.

They responded to our listing on Upwork. We weren’t necessarily looking for an agency, but the team met all of our requirements. Pereus Marketing had a proven strategy, a solid workflow, clear communications, and high standards.

Pereus Marketing helped us from start to finish with our cold outreach campaign. First, we had an onboarding session to discuss our business and our offer. Next, we tweaked the call script and possible outcomes of each call. We did a package for 100 businesses to outreach; Pereus Marketing would contact each business up to three times—300 total calls if needed. Our team approved this approach because it created multiple contact opportunities during the life of the campaign. They billed us upfront for the total amount.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was successful because we had controlled how they represented our company and still benefited from the team’s expertise. The campaign saved us time, which enabled us to focus on other aspects of our business. Pereus Marketing was a pleasure to work with and their performance met our expectations for appointments and warm leads.

The team communicated clearly and helpfully shared files to keep us informed about the status of each call. We had a meeting at the project’s mid-point to discuss results and any needed changes. During the campaign, we could see which service representative contacted each business. Our team appreciated knowing who was working on what.

Call recording would be a nice touch, as well as more guidance on follow up processes with prospective clients. We needed more tweaks and examples of successful campaigns to add value.

They work on lead generation and staffing at events. They find tradeshows, set up and break down our displays, and generate appointments for us to follow up with on our end. Insulation isn’t an impulse buy, so we need to help clients understand the benefits. Pereus gets people interested in our services so we can make the sale.

Ryan (Founder, Owner, Principal Consultant, Pereus Marketing) is our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Pereus Marketing?

We bought an existing business when we expanded into the Philadelphia market. Ryan was working for the old owner. He explained what he was doing and we felt it fit in with our plan to generate more leads.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested over $50,000 with them, split between us and the old owner and the relationship is only getting stronger.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2017 and work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They generate 15–20% of our leads. Among those leads, we see about a 40% close rate.

How did Pereus Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They do really well and their communication is clear. They use Google Docs to take leads and update the spreadsheets at each event. Then, we follow up with specific customers. We meet once a month or so to discuss future events and negotiate pricing. They represent us extremely well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Managing 2–5 additional staff members at events would be difficult for us but they make it easy. We may pay a little more than some of our other franchises who do this sort of work in-house but the ease makes it worthwhile.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They do a great job for us. Any innovations to get more leads or a higher close rate would be fantastic.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Focus on your core business and let them handle their area of expertise. We didn’t have experience with service-driven vendors or marketing at events, so we trusted them to handle their additions to our company.
