Tax Free World - Website Design and Management
BACKGROUND - the creation of https://taxfreeworld.org/
Refundit is a revolutionary mobile application which allows non-European consumers to apply directly for VAT refunds from purchases bought within the European Union. Once their key messages and targets had been determined, it was suggested that a separate website focused on the world of tax-free shopping would be created to shed light on the industry to all interested parties and Refundit stakeholders.
The site would contain sleek design with high end, well researched, journalistic, quality content. The website would target international decision makers, professionals within the tourism industry and small to medium-sized enterprises with the goal of creating a dialogue within the industry focused on Refundit’s messaging, branding and values.
STRATEGY AND IMPLEMENTATION
After conducting deep dive research into the tax-free shopping industry and tourism technology market, Percepto built a structured content strategy.
Our designers and specialist content team provided creative consultation on the full design for the website including website architecture and branding, including logos and slogans, and color pallets.
Website copy was provided through static pages throughout the website implementing SEO elements and the website was listed on media contact lists for PR professionals to reach out with top industry stories to keep the site topical and relevant.
The methodology of the site was to curate high-quality, in depth and well researched content from across the tax-free world industry with journalistic integrity – no “fluff” and frivolous marketing.
Percepto interviewed high-level executives and industry leaders from tourism, tech, retail and finance sectors by utilizing client’s connections and fostering good working relationships with their partners, investors and other stakeholders. Through this, quality content was created to attract all target audiences.

Israeli market PR launch campaign for global brand
Background: EcoFlow is a portable power and renewable energy solutions company. Since its founding in 2017, EcoFlow has provided peace-of-mind power to customers in over 85 markets through its DELTA and RIVER product lines of portable power stations and eco-friendly accessories.
Challenge: Although EcoFlow products had been distributed in Israel for a few months they hadn’t been officially launched in the local market and there was very low awareness of the company’s innovative products and solutions. The client needed to create awareness within a very short time frame.
Target: To raise awareness of the importance of portable, solar powered, sustainable, power stations as an alternative to fuel generations as well as expose local Israeli audiences to EcoFlow’s innovative products and to increase demand and sales by local distributors.
Strategy and implementation: We decided to launch an intensive PR and media outreach campaign to create a substantial amount of coverage within six to eight weeks. The target audiences included tech-lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and businesses which use power generators both outdoors and inside. Key messages we determined in order to promote product innovation, sustainability and ease-of-use when compared to traditional fuel-based power stations.
Our strategy was to reach out to both national media outlets as well as tech publications. Press releases were tailored to target various audiences and pitched to key media outlets to achieve a range of coverage types; including news, reviews, tech pages and thought leadership pieces.
Results: In under two months, eight pieces of coverage were published across target outlets – national daily newspapers and consumer technology publications. This created a significant increase in awareness of the company’s products within the Israeli market.

Wolf Prize Awards - Social Media Organic Growth
Background – The Wolf Prize is an annual award given to leaders in the world of art, science and mathematics, recognizing the world’s finest minds and talents.
Target – to build momentum and awareness of the announcement through social media channels, drawing attention to the live broadcast as well as encouraging more engagement on all social media channels.
Strategy and implementation: We created momentum by creating a countdown to the announcement across all social media platforms, tying in interesting titbits that linked to the days.
During the event itself, the announcements of each of the 11 laureates was posted live on social media simultaneously across all platforms, including tags of laureates, institutions, alta maters and information about the reason they were winners.
Following the live event, we created a Spotlight Series to introduce the 11 laureates in more detail with further explanation about them receiving the prize.
Results: From the beginning on the campaign, social media engagement increased astronomically across all three platforms.
On Twitter, this included 70,000 profile visitors and 1.12 million tweet impressions – an increase of 690% and 180% respectively.
Facebook saw a 306% increase of visits compared to the previous year an increase in post engagements of 91% and a 295% increase in video views.
On LinkedIn, views were up by nearly 3,000%, unique users by 1,850%, and reactions by 2,720% with the key target areas of education and research users being the highest increased demographic.
In terms of followers, the numbers increased dramatically during the month following the announcement – Twitter followers went up by nearly 30% and on LinkedIn the amount of followers tripled.

They would also join us on our team meetings once a month to update on the progress and to give their ideas about the ongoing activity we had.
How many resources from the Percepto's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There was a client manager that was in touch with us all the time. head of content, content editor and content writer who helped us with all the complicated content aspects of the activity (it's a specific niche). A web designer who built and designed the websites we had.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The blog they created for us got a lot of quality traffic and ranked well on some important search results. There were also 3rd party articles that were promoted and ranked on several of our important search results.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were very professionals, giving us updates on an ongoing basis, and in the beginning of each month we got a written report. We were working mainly with our client manager that managed all the other team work.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Owner of a Financial service company
For what projects/services did your company hire Percepto?
Needed to build a much wider online presence, which would overcome some negative news that was planned to come up regarding our company. We met Percepto 6 or 7 months before the results of a court case were to be decided and we had time to plan ahead.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I found them online. I also saw a few companies in the USA, but i reached out to Percepto because we are in the same country. They were very professional in their initial discussion with me.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project entailed a plan and required us to come up with the subject matter of what content or subjects they would fill the internet with.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There was 1 guy in charge of my project. I believe all in all there were 3 people working, some external. A customer liaison - who oversaw the infrastructure build and planning of how to target A external writer that wrote the articles I think someone else also, not sure, I met different people, but don't remember other than the CEO and the customer liaison.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project was 100% SUCCESS. We lost the court case, the negative news came out and was published in multiple newspapers internationally. As much google ranking as the major global newspapers achieve - such as the Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Percepto's planning, creation of mulitple online assets, with much content worked. The result was the negative news was initially filled up the entire google search on the first and second pages.
In about 2 weeks, the good web sites that Percepto launched started to get back to the first page on google (when searching for our company name) After a month , almost all the negative news was on page 2, and after about 3 months everthing was on page 3 and further down the pages. We kept the program with Percepto going for more than 2 years after the one negative court case news came out.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very good. In the planning phase we had maybe two , one hour meetings. After that we met once every 3 months for an update and presentation on the new assets and the ranking and planning ahead
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Everything they said they would do they did.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Since I understand a little how google and seo works, i understood what they were doing. But otherwise, it would be nice to get more of an explanation, first it's interesting and second you like to know

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder & CEO of a public relations firm. I specialize in crisis management.
What challenge were you trying to address with Percepto?
We needed a partner to do digital marketing for some of our clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Percepto has done two projects with us. The first one was a crisis management project. They helped improve a client’s image through digital media, including social media.
The current project is doing digital media for a client in the field of science. They work on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms to increase their digital management.
For both projects, they first analyze the client to assess where improvements are needed digitally, and they then create a strategic plan and execute it.
What is the team composition?
I interact with the CEO, a manager, and an advisor.
How did you come to work with Percepto?
They were professionally mature, which meant I could observe and let them do the work instead of having to be overly involved. They also had expertise in French, English, and Hebrew, which was something my client needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $75,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around August 2017, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our clients are satisfied with the deliverables, and they’ve given us positive feedback. My colleagues have noticed their work and are interested in hiring them as well. We’ve seen an increase in engagements for our clients on social media thanks to their quick and clever delivery.
How did Percepto perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is perfect, professional, and creative. We communicate through WhatsApp and have meetings at the beginning and end of each week. Throughout the engagement, they’ve been available and responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They know our target audience and how to reach them quickly, which was something unique and not offered by other companies we experienced.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re pricey but worth it. In our current project, they could engage with the client more.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to them. You may think their ideas are too clever or creative to work, but if you let them do what they know, you’ll see that it works.

Web Design & Social Media Strategy for Cyber Defense Company
"They’ve really helped us to put out a better message for our product and communicate it in a much better way."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the business development VP at Legacy Technologies, a German company focusing on cyber defense.
What challenge were you trying to address with Percepto?
There were a few points —mainly in the digital area— that we wanted to address to better position ourselves on social media.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we provided context and technical documentation about our products so that they could understand them better. Percepto put together a strategic plan about our digital awareness and position. This included market analysis and recommendations. We then had the implementation phase, during which they worked on a few topics. For our website, they rewrote the content and redesigned it — they dealt with the logo, messages, and the whole design.
They’ve also crafted our message to deliver it in a more effective way on our social media platforms, whether it’s LinkedIn, Facebook, or MySpace. From time to time, we put together articles; they help us to write and publish them.
What is the team composition?
There is an account manager and about four people dealing with different aspects, such as design, content, and digital marketing.
How did you come to work with Percepto?
I keep in touch with some people from my country who had already worked with Percepto on different projects. We chose to work with them because we thought they brought good value in comparison to others.
How much have you invested with them?
On average, it’s been about $6,000 per month, so we’ve spent about $50,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our partnership in July 2020, and we’re still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our company and product awareness have increased. We’ve had a few good articles in technical and technological newspapers, as well as on social media. Before, not many people knew about us. Now, when we speak to clients, they already know about us.
How did Percepto perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is really professional. They follow up on a weekly basis, and we have biweekly conference calls when they bring up ideas on how to improve things. We mostly talk over the phone, but we also use Zoom and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve really helped us to put out a better message for our product and communicate it in a much better way. It isn’t a simple process since we’re in a very competitive market, so they’ve done a good job at creating the message and the strategy around it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If they were stronger on the economic press side and could push more articles in economic newspapers, that would serve us more.
Any advice for potential customers?
I would really emphasize the importance of preparation work. Put time and effort into it — mention whatever you can about the company, its market, its competitors, and anything relevant to the business. That way, they will come to you with the best plan.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the VP of business development and marketing at a consultancy company that works across different sectors, mainly in homeland security. Their clients range from the government to private entities, critical infrastructure, and government agencies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Percepto?
We had a client who required specific and unique help with online reputation management and SEO, which we couldn’t directly provide.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We presented our client’s pain points to Percepto and what they wanted to achieve. Then, they presented us with a thorough plan on how to cater to their needs while presenting a basket of complimentary services. They were organized and thorough in their approach to the client, maintaining a high level of professionalism while offering creativity and out-of-the-box ideas for their unique needs.
This project entailed everything, from classic SEO to brand positioning management. Percepto compiled blogs, media posts, and international press articles on behalf of the client’s organization in a very professional and authentic manner.
What is the team composition?
I often dealt with Percepto’s CEO whenever necessary, and I had a project manager assigned, who touched base with me on a daily basis. I also interacted with the head of content and the head of media. In total, I worked with five people from their team, and they all were very hands-on.
How did you come to work with Percepto?
We found Percepto through word of mouth from different partners of ours. We vetted a lot of companies, but we chose them because we found out that they were the most transparent, trustworthy, and professional company.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in 2020, and I believe that their engagement with my former company is still ongoing, but I recently left. However, they’ve been so good that they’ve already renewed their contract, and they’re planning other projects as well.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Percepto offered really outstanding services and a very outstanding team. They were a totally international company, with the ability to cater to international clients and tailor their services. The quality of their writing was unmatchable, and their reach in terms of outlets and journalists globally and regionally was really, really strong.
How did Percepto perform from a project management standpoint?
Percepto not only hit the deadlines, but they were also always ahead of them, which was very impressive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Even though Percepto is out of Israel, they were very international, and they managed to cater to our client in Africa specifically. I was also very impressed by their approach. Even when our project wasn’t very big, they took it very seriously and offered a hands-on approach.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything that Percepto could have improved on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get them into your project as early as possible to maximize their creative potential. Percepto is very creative and diverse, so having them early on will give you a competitive advantage.
Percepto successfully created a blog that led to a significant improvement in website traffic and SEO rank. Moreover, the third-party articles were promoted and positioned to the client's important search results. A professional partner, they provided valuable guidance to keep the client updated.
