For what projects/services did your company hire People First Marketing, and what were your goals?
We hired People First Marketing to take over our digital marketing, as this was an area we were experiencing difficulties in. Our goals were to increase revenue and find new clients.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We came across People First Marketing by first downloading their business 'Blueprint'. We did some diligence on them before booking our discovery call. The deciding factor was that they showed brilliant knowledge within the health and well-being space with exceptional attention to detail and thought ideas when it comes to marketing.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
After our discovery call with People First Marketing, we got a better understanding of who they were and understand their company values. After the first initial call, we then discussed the People First business blueprint which is a 6-month journey that involved creating a lead generation landing page, automated email workflows & email content for 6 months, social media marketing for 6 months and LinkedIn network building. These were all key areas we needed to focus on to help gain us more clients.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with two people in total. Suneel who is the Strategic Director who guided me through the People First business blueprint explaining the 6-month journey. I also worked with Sat who is the Customer Relations Manager who was able to assist me with any queries. Overall, they really made me feel part of the team and it is a pleasure working with them both.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have seen a huge increase within our social media groups as well as being able to nurture our existing with some excellent content. This has increased our engagement levels with our existing audience, which are converting to more clients.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Highly effective with a very comfortable environment. The team has a solid grasp on what needs to be done, which works well with allowing them to do their job. They communicate effectively and always include me in their movements teaching me 'WHY' along the way. We set up a WhatsApp group, so that we could be in constant contact throughout the day if needed. This was really important to me as previous agencies that I have worked with in the past only responded to emails during the normal working hours.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Not only working with People First Marketing has increased my revenue, it has also given me the chance to focus more on educating and sever more people. I have also found that I have had a better work-life balance as there is an exceptional team supporting me throughout the journey. They are also educating me the essential of marketing so that I can set up my business for success for the long term.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We are very happy with the marketing support they have provided and the results so far.

I am the director at PeeSting, an e-commerce supplement store.
What challenge were you trying to address with People First Marketing?
We wanted to build our online and social media presence so we could sell more of our products directly to consumers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We outsourced our digital marketing, website maintenance, and social media management to People First Marketing. We initially brought them on to audit our website and SEO efforts, so our online presence was more appealing to consumers. Soon, it became clear that they could do more than just that for us.
We expanded the scope of work, and they began to manage our entire customer engagement process. Their content team wrote articles for our blog and print media — they’d send them to us for approval, we’d make edits, and then they’d publish them. The People First Marketing team also created and produced an animated video.
People First Marketing also ran our social media accounts, including Facebook, to build our audience. Then, to assist with our audience-building efforts, People First Marketing provided us with a CRM that we connected to MailChimp to send out e-newsletters.

At least five teammates worked on my project, including Sunny (Founder), an SEO strategist, and a small content creation team.
How did you come to work with People First Marketing?
We found People First Marketing through a webinar on LinkedIn. We were looking for a company that could do more than just a website audit — People First Marketing offered us additional marketing and advertising solutions. They were perfect for us.

We’ve spent around £35,000 (approximately $46,000 USD) with People First Marketing.
What is the status of this engagement?
The bulk of our work with People First Marketing was from February–August 2021, and we’ve since moved into a maintenance-oriented partnership.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We tracked People First Marketing’s work weekly, analyzing clicks, impressions, and website visits. Overall, their work improved our online presence. In January 2021, we had about 500 website visits in a week; after eight months of working with People First Marketing, there were about 5,000 website visits a week.
How did People First Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
People First Marketing’s project management went above and beyond our expectations. We set weekly customer impact targets and then worked backward to determine how many sales we’d have to make to meet our target.
We also had weekly meetings, and there was always someone available to answer our questions. Their team pushed back on our ideas to ensure that our content helped us meet our goals.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The customer service People First Marketing has is excellent. They really understood our business and what we wanted to achieve — People First Marketing delivered exactly what we wanted.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was nothing for People First Marketing to improve.

I’d advise customers to ask questions — it’s always important to fully understand People First Marketing’s process.

I’m the founder and CEO of Koala Counselling, and we provide counseling-related services to organizations and the public.
What challenge were you trying to address with People First Marketing?
We wanted to deliver training for a particular approach we used in psychology called ACT (Acceptance and Commitment and Therapy). It was not widely known, and we needed help promoting the training event.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We first provided People First with an initial brief of what we were trying to accomplish, which was to make the event as widely known as possible to a target audience we had in mind.
People First set up our Facebook page, and they handled the event’s ad copies and visuals. Our ads were marketed on Facebook and LinkedIn.

I the director of NSA Pharma Limited, a pharmaceutical wholesale company based in London.
What challenge were you trying to address with People First Marketing?
We were looking for someone to help us with digital marketing as well as website support for our pharmaceutical company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The goal was to work with People First Marketing and bring the brand to the forefront on the marketing side. We also wanted to bring the business onto the website, add traffic and get potential leads.
Before they got involved, the website just sat there doing nothing and wasn’t bringing any traffic. It was just made for us and didn’t do anything from a marketing standpoint. My partners and I met with Suneel (Director of Strategy) and Sat (Director of Customer Excellence and Brand Reputation), and they came up with a plan. Their team researched what other people in our industry are doing, what they are doing differently to us, and how People First Marketing could integrate their services and expertise to help us get to another level from where we are.

It has only been a couple of months. We are doing it on a month-to-month basis, and we started in February 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve been giving us statistical figures. From where we were even six weeks ago, we have seen a significant change. It isn’t an overnight process with marketing, but we can already see that the traffic is slowly channeling through to our business. They’re small steps but eventually will lead to a big step once we take more and more traffic to the business and as we build more marketing strategies with People First.
How did People First Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
We do conference calls with them, as well as email communication. We also have face-to-face meetings. It depends on who is free and what is convenient
What did you find most impressive about them?
They keep it very simple and the jargon is very clear. Their team has a very clear outline of what their objectives are and how they are going to help us a business which made it very helpful.
They made it very simple for us to understand the issue in any complicated scenario we encountered and how we can overcome it with their help. Communication has been great with us as well. They always proactively get involved and are thinking ahead for the business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To be honest, so far so good. It hasn’t been a long enough time for me to be constructive at the moment, but I can say that the last six weeks have been productive from their end and if they continue as they are, I don’t think there are any elements of doubt in my team or areas where we will find any flaws. In the long term, it is good to have constructive feedback and if there is any, I will be happy to share it.
