We hired Pecode to help staff augment our design team. We have worked with multiple designers at Pecode and have been extremely impressed with the quality of work/speed/communication with their entire team.

We decided to hire Pecode because of their portfolio and how responsive they were in the interviewing process.

We worked specifically with Kris on this project and it was a unique design request - including off-the-grid items, custom graphics, and multiple people to pass through approvals. Kris did a great job with the initial design and all the other design change requests which included items outside of scope.

We worked with Kris who was our designer for this particular project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client was extremely happy with the design and can't say how nice it was for a designer to manage multiple change requests while staying on schedule.

It was extremely polished and felt like they were always ahead of schedule

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to create concepts off project briefs was outstanding. We give a semi-detailed project brief and answer any initial questions and they provide detailed designs that typically require minimal changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope I could not have asked for a better partnership.

We underwent a whole redesign of our website and we used two UX, UI designers from Pecode. Roksoliana helped us with the redesign of the main landing pages and Stas helped us with the redesign of the article and study material pages.

We searched for skilled UX, UI designers and we found Pecode Software. They are a very professional company and were very keen on helping us. Additionally everyone we have worked with was very qualified.

We gave some pointers as to what we wanted the redesigned website to look, feel and work like. Then Roksoliana and Stas made the designs for us and always listened to our feedback. We did not have a set idea and they both helped us find the look we were going for. Both also helped our developers with feedback so that the design and the actual product were almost identical.

We worked with Roksoliana and with Stas. They were both UX, UI and web designers I think.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were always happy with the results of the design we received. Both designers were open to feedback and always happy to help or change the design according to our wishes.

The workflow has been very effective. Especially Stas has always been really quick to answer and finish the work on time. Everyone else I have communicated with has also been quick to answer and help out!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I thought it was really impressive how much expertise they seem to have. Additionally there was great work ethic from everyone involved. Also the language difference was no hindrance as there was no miscommunication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Actually I am completely satisfied with how things worked out!

I am the project manager at a systems integrator focused on media and content preparation and delivery via web.

We developed a custom hardware instance that is controllable via a custom ui. The development framework was via iterations so with each iteration a new deployment was rolled out. To make sure that all functionalities and features are not undergoing regressions we hired Pecode to do manual and automatic tests for us.

For the automated testing we had requirements to use a specific tool. For the manual testing we were in search for detailed processes.

We hired Pecode after the first version of the software was ready. And then worked with further iterations. We provided Pecode with access to our project board in Jira where they were able to create tickets/ bug reports. Additionally they provided us with a variety of Cypress tests which are running before each deployment.

We hired two people. One for manual testing purposes and one for automated testing purposes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The expectations were exceeded since the outcome was really detailed.

The project management was done through us. They got tasked assigned by us via Jira ticket system or directly via Slack Chat.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their willingness to work on weekends and fast response time even when we had an hourly limit per week was impressive.

Sometimes things got lost in translation due we had to communicate in English which is not the native language for both of us.

We develop a range of mobile apps for clients, mainly focusing on locative audio experiences. We needed iOS and android mobile app development skills, and now increasingly QA work to ensure the best possible delivery to customers.

We found them on Upwork, and it grew from an initial appointment. The developers we found were very thoughtful and high quality in their coding, essential for the tasks we were planning.

We use a range of mobile technologies, focusing on native technologies in iOS and android. We use audio and location services extensively, both of which are managed extremely well by Pecode.

We have had excellent feedback about all of our apps. Our customers expressing positive feelings about the delivery. Some of the apps receive press attention, and we have very few complaints about bugs or major issues with the apps.

The team fits in very well with our project management and communication tools, and they work well to deadlines when it's required.

Attention to detail is excellent, as well as general coding skills.

Generally the quality of work is superb, and we work very flexibly, so no complaints.

Perfection! Their team is absolutely amazing when it comes to taking your idea and putting it in wireframes and mockups to bring your idea to life.

The team was extremely efficient, very good at communicating and asking the right questions to help us decide what we needed. Their creativity was magical, and we loved every moment that we worked with them. We truly didn't expect to see the results we did, but wow what an amazing job they completed with ease!

We first had a meeting to dive into the type of project we are building, and the look and feel it should have. We also discussed our process of rapid iteration and continuous feedback/integration.

Polina Katasonova worked with us as a UX designer

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The results were top class. Polina was very quick to understand concepts, despite the subject of our web application being quite abstract and technical. In Dutch we would say: "Giving her two words is enough". The team delivered a top class result very rapidly, leaving very little room for improvement.

This first assignment was not a very big one, so there was hardly any project management to be done, although we hope to stay professional partners with this company.

Mostly the design uniqueness and ability to iterate and work so rapidly.

There are not areas in which our company experienced room for improvement. Yes, there were very minor additions and changes to be done after receiving a first concept of the design, but that is of course natural. But in all key aspects of our cooperation: communication, social ability, and delivering quality design, Pecode excelled.

Iryna did a fantastic job and I am always super impressed with her work. The website layout she designed is intuitive and very professional. What makes Iryna so special, however, is her ability to also design amazing looking visuals to complement the theme of the website.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Iryna was great for our workflow as she was always super responsive and finished projects very quickly while maintaining superb quality.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The level of professionalism and prompt communication was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I feel like the company could do a better job offering free of charge services. Every time I asked for tiny modifications to be done to the project after the project was officially finished, I was always charged for the extra work. On paper this makes sense, but it would have been nice if I didn't always have to pay for an additional 20 minutes of work - considering I've been a loyal customer and have paid handsomely.

We hired Pecode Software to provide both manual and automated QA testing for our web application.

What were your goals for this project?

Ensure the quality of our web application.

How did you select Pecode Software?

I interviewed several remote software development firms and decided after talking to Alexander that Pecode Software was the best fit.

Describe the project in detail.

We hired Alexander (and his company Pecode Software) to be the QA for our web application homeroom.com. We have some fairly complicated user flows with little documentation.

The first thing Alexander did was to write documentation on our use-cases to verify his understanding of the product. He then brought on board Slava Khoroshenko to be the QA on our service.

Slava wrote test cases for all our features/flows and formalized a plan for how to test the service. Slava tested new features, performed regression testing, ad-hoc testing and bug fix verification. He found many critical bugs, and helped us stabilize the product. Additionally Alexander assisted us in writing automated UI tests, ensuring we had coverage on most areas of the application.

Despite being in a timezone halfway around the world, and different native languages, we had no communication issues and the partnership worked extremely well. I highly recommend Slava, Alexander and his company Pecode software.

What was the team composition?

Slava was an integral part of our team. We communicate with him directly via Slack.

Our support cases dropped significantly as we were able to ensure quality before releases.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was quite effective. Alexander and Slava used all the same tools we used - Slack, Jira, Github, etc. The timezone difference worked to our advantage. We'd implement and fix bugs, and they got tested overnight, such that we'd come in the morning having things tested and bugs to fix.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Several things - Slava's attention to detail and curiosity about the product. While he wrote test cases, he didn't just stick to the test cases, and tried out various things to test the application.

We are very happy with both the UI/UX design work that Marta delivered and the implementation of it in the front-end by Oles. She was able to capture what we imagined for our web app, and we are confident that their design will serve as the foundation for a consumer product that serves millions of users.

Marta was effective, communicated clearly and was on top of her duties.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The quality of their work combined with the impeccable reliability, in terms of meeting deadlines, being prompt to Zoom calls and replying to our messages. They are also very flexible and were able to help beyond the initial scope of our project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

This is more a testament to how good their work is: we would have loved to have them work with us on the mobile app with React Native or Flutter.
