Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a barbershop called Craftsmen Barbershop.
What challenge were you trying to address with PearTree Design, LLC?
I had a rough design of my business logo, so I needed someone to add a professional touch and apply necessary improvements.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I sent my original logo to them, and they immediately worked on it. I was very picky, but they were patient with me and thorough with the process. They eventually gave me several designs to choose from, all of which were actually better than my initial design. They’ve also helped me market my products, including the apparel for my shop.
What is the team composition?
I work with two people from the PearTree Design, LLC team, including Kevin (Owner & Creative Director).
How did you come to work with PearTree Design, LLC?
I was searching online for design companies within our area and their company came up.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $15,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in March 2021, and our engagement is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m really happy with my shop’s new logo — it’s very classy and elegant. I’ve also shown it to numerous people, and they all loved it.
How did PearTree Design, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything has been done in a timely manner; they’re always on top of things and no time is wasted. They also communicate well and respond to my requests in a matter of minutes via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re professional, friendly, hard-working, and the quality of their work is amazing. They’ve delivered something better than I expected, and I can’t emphasize that enough.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I honestly can’t think of anything — they’ve dealt with everything well in spite of my pickiness.

I recommend working with them; they know their stuff, and they've provided me with ideas that I've never thought of.

I’m the owner of Lead Surge LLC, a traditional media agency that focuses on direct-response lead generation.
For what projects/services did your company hire PearTree Design, LLC?
I needed someone to develop creative for my client’s campaigns.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to generate a cost-effective number of sales leads, which requires good-looking creative that makes people stop what they’re doing and either pick up the phone or submit a form online.
How did you select this vendor?
There are plenty of designers out there that, while they may be talented, are difficult to talk to. Kevin, PearTree’s owner, has a great personality and is extremely easy to work with. They had such a great variety of work that I was quite comfortable giving them that first project.
Describe the project in detail.
I’ve used PearTree for virtually every design project I've had for the past 18 years. They’ve developed direct mail campaigns, logos, newspaper and digital ads, and brochures.

I work with Kevin, the owner, as well as all of his associates.

We’ve generated millions of dollars in sales for my client thanks to PearTree’s designs.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They’re easy to work with and are always conscious of deadlines. When I have to shift priorities, which happens quite often, they take it in stride.

They know that their creativity needs to generate sales leads and not simply look nice. They understand that their designs have a job to do and they’re outstanding at accomplishing it.

No, there aren’t. I love working with them—talented, great people all around.
The final logo came out very well — it is classy, elegant, and professional-looking. PearTree Design, LLC’s thoroughness and patience have allowed them to establish a healthy workflow and ensure a long-term partnership. They’re very punctual, personable, and responsive as well.
