Flixxo combines cryptocurrencies and peer to peer video distribution in one integrated platform.
Flixxo is an entertainment multi-platform that allows its users to watch mini series in exchange for Flixx, their own cryptocurrency that is obtained as a reward every time a user watches a short advertisement, or buying it in any exchange.
Users can not only use the flixx to view content, but can also transfer it to their crypto wallet as it is a commodity that has value.
On the other hand, Flixxo allows content creators to earn Flixx every time a user consumes his video content.
It was truly a novel experience for us to participate in an ambitious, large-scale project like Flixxo. Our team took on the job of market research, strategy elaboration, development, and of course, getting creative with visuals.
Although Flixxo is available for any device, we decided to focus on creating a unique experience for mobile Apps, placing great emphasis on design and creating micro-interactions for every instance.
MODO approached Paisanos with a significant obstacle, the product launch date was stipulated within 2 months and although the back-end was developed, the product didn't have a designed interface.
That's why, from Paisanos we assigned a dedicated squad to achieve a product within the highest standards of quality, in a short period of time.
We decided to create a design system based on the 3 core features that the product will offer to customers. Send money, ask for money and pay with a QR code. The goal was to create a pattern for each vertical, applied to the product as well as communication.
A 360º payment experience
- Vertical, giving a physical frame to the gesture of sending money from one device to another
- Synchronized with a payment sound made during the development with Papamusic and which is also part of the audio branding of MODO.
- Including vibrations in the cell phone (for the devices that support it)
- Handcrafted animations and transitions
- Graphing the nodes, which are part of MODO's brand and represents the alliance of the Argentine banks
A new product identity
Homie is leading the institutionalization of the fragmented Mexican housing sector. The company solves challenges that face tenants, property developers, and owners by making the rental process more efficient.
What did they ask Paisanos? To take their Product UX and UI to the next level.
Having accepted the challenge, our team started focusing on finding patterns from their new brandbook to be implemented inside the product.

We needed to figure out together with Homie's team what were the ideal UI patterns that match with the product to be designed.
That's why at the project's early stage we carried out several references sessions were we explored and discussed the already existing products and their characteristics.
While our UI team was focused on the product’s identity, the UX team started wireframing in order to make decisions about the product structure and information architecture.
Testing Heros in hi-fi
The Hero section of Homie's home page was a critical decision to make since most of the conversions are initiated from here.
We explored more than a dozen content types in order to find the one with the best mix between a great UX and an outstanding visual impact.
A scalable UI system
For MVPs, iteration speed is crucial.
We've created a scalable UI system to allow the design and development team of Homie to add new features without the need to incorporate new component structures to the product.

At the end of the project, we handed off a complete code base and design files for the product suite for their internal team. Now, finding and renting your new home in México is easier and more pleasant than ever!
Qira Pagos is a mobile wallet that allows agricultural producers to buy, sell and exchange their grains and seeds.
The main challenge has been to understand the complex process of traditional grains and seeds transactions where several parties have taken part.
During the first two months of the project, the product team carried out different workshops and research sessions with the client aiming to get all the information about the process and identify the main pain points in the communication between commercial and producer to make improvements and transfer them to the digital level.
Once the team collected all the information and processed it, they moved forward on defining the user flow and the product screens in low fidelity wireframes in order to test it with potencial users and make fast iterations before starting the UI design process.

Insurance for everyone
Our work for WeCover consisted of web and mobile development. We worked side-by-side with our client, achieving a high-quality product for a young, app-friendly audience.
Have your valuables insured with just a few steps
The main idea of this app is allowing people to insure their valuables easily. For instance, insuring your mobile phone in the precise moment you need it.
We worked on a calculator that shows the users the daily cost of the service. As a result, you will know the exact amount before paying.
If you experienced any inconveniences with your insurance, you can make a claim from the mobile app or at the Claims website.
Our main goal was to turn the insurance industry upside down, offering the service only when you need it. It was originally conceived for app-friendly users, who are familiar with apps or webs like Uber, Rappi, Spotify, Twiter, Facebook, etc.
HNT allows companies to offer a custom digital banking solution to their customers
HNT Bank needed the comprehensive development of all instances, infrastructure, applications and modules for its digital banking solution. The challenge was to develop a consistent product for all its platforms, with a scalable architecture and infrastructure optimized to receive large volumes of traffic.
We focused on creating a tailor made interface identity for HNT. In the first stage of the project, the design team explored different paths until get the chosen one.
HNT is already integrated with the identity validation process that allows customer to create banking accounts and access to their personal CVU.
The HNT wallet not only allows users to have an USD and ARS accounts, also allows them to accumulate and transfer HNTs, a stable coin created for the company in order to create a descentrilized community.
One of HNT Bank's goals is to tackle the financial inequality in LATAM, creating financial inclusion for people who don't have access to the system.
To contribute to this objective, we integrated the HNT Bank virtual card, which users can request from the mobile app without the need of having a bank account.
As a complement to the mobile app, we worked on the web banking, creating a multi-platform experience for HNT Banks users.
Felicity is a financial education, social media and personal finance manager platform.
They needed an experienced and agile team in order to iterate the product and find the market fit.
Once the product was ready to scale, the goal was to find a new investment series that would allow Felicity to help more and more women around the world.
Zenpros helps workers to connect with potential clients, only charging for lead generation.
In order to launch a product that solves basic needs, we put a lot of focus on understanding and validating how we could add value to workers and end users.
We made a very deep investigation during the product thinking stage, were we validated de business idea thorug intervews with different stakeholders and using a wizard off ozz testing technique where using a no code landing page we manage to start testing the Hypotesis.
The outcome of the whole research was succesfull and we ended up developing a responsive web app focusing on creating a design system that allows our client to scale their product whenever they need it.
