What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everything is good with OTR. They’re a reliable vendor, and we like working with them. They provide suggestions along the way on how to improve the product.
How did OTR perform from a project management standpoint?
We mostly communicate in person, but we also communicate through Telegram, and we receive plans and milestones through Microsoft Project.
The suggested timeline from OTR was actually more than what we expected, but that was our fault, as it was our first time working on VR development with a vendor.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They started working with us without payment. Everything was good in general, so I can’t highlight anything in particular.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re perfectionists, and they pay attention to all of the details. However, some parts of the project took longer than they should’ve due to this.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise companies to do their homework and prepare specifications and technical tasks. It’s important to describe what you want to receive in detail. This will help bring results faster, and the results will meet expectations.
Design is a major part of the project in VR, and you need to describe it in detail. Designers should be able to understand your ideas and imagine what exactly you want to see. We had seven iterations of different designs until we got a result that fit our proposal one hundred percent.
