Energy is manufacturer and distributor of natural and herbal nutrition products, with head offices in Czech Republic. I am the UK managing director responsible for launching and running the business in the UK.
For what projects/services did your company hire ORIQO, and what were your goals?
We were introduced to ORIQO through a friend and started working them when we planned to enter the UK market. The goal was to develop the best brand strategy to have a successful launch and penetration in the market.
How did you select this vendor?
ORIQO were recommended through a friend.

ORIQO conducted market research, competitor analysis, product evaluation and all other necessary reseach before inviting us to propose their plans. Using their ideas and expertise we developed a 'Go to Market' strategy and launch campaign.

I worked with 3 people there:
- Mo who is the director and guided us through every step of the way

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We had a really successful launch in the UK. To cut the story short, we had imported certain amount of products to the UK hoping to sell them within the first 3 months. Little did we know that we'd sell out within 3 weeks! It has been a really great start!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Communication is one thing I did not need to worry about with ORIQO. They were proactive and constantly providing update regarding the progress. They are always ready to help and I felt like I have my own marketing team by my side.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their sense of urgency is amazing! They really understand the pressure businesses are under and always make sure they provide the best solution to increase the chance of success.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I cant think of anything right now.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO, founder, and director of a company that produces emulsifiers for the food industry. We’ve been in business for about 20 years.
What challenge were you trying to address with ORIQO?
We didn’t have a proper website; previous vendors worked on it, but nothing great happened. As a result, we hired ORIQO for their website and marketing services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ORIQO provided a bunch of services for us. Mainly, they helped us put together a website. At that time, we were new in the UK market, so they also put together a marketing strategy for our business.
To elaborate, they created the website on existing code. A different provider started building it three years ago, and then ORIQO picked the project up when we started working with them. They sent us a PDF of what the site would look like, and when we gave our approval, they went ahead and built it. They used WordPress to create the site; I wasn’t too involved with the technologies they used since I focused on ensuring that the product information was out there and that customers could access everything they needed.
For SEO, ORIQO did everything by themselves, including keyword research. They also offered Google Ads and PPC services, but we didn’t want to spend our budget on ads at that time.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with Mo (Founder) and Dominika (Creative Lead). Social media coordinators and account managers also worked with them.
How did you come to work with ORIQO?
We met ORIQO through a friend who knew Mo well. From there, we got in touch with ORIQO and started working with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around £17,000–£18,000 (approximately $23,000–$24,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from August–November 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When we started the engagement, we only had two clients. Since ORIQO did a great job, we gained up to 50 potential clients. We didn’t have this level of engagement at all before. Moreover, we ranked on the first page of Google search results for certain keywords.
How did ORIQO perform from a project management standpoint?
The ORIQO team was always on time, and they were proactive in terms of communication — that was fantastic. They always contacted me to give me updates; I never had to pick up the phone and chase them to ask about what was happening. To communicate, we typically used WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communications skills were impressive. If they had a problem — such as when one of their teammates had COVID-19 or when they had technical problems — they always let us know proactively.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They were a bit expensive. We did find cheaper agencies, but we went ahead with them because they were referred by a friend. To be fair, they did a good job.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Work with ORIQO; they’re outstanding, and their resources provide quality services. While they’re expensive, remember that you’re paying for good things.
Moreover, they’re a friendly team, so you can go in without your corporate face on — you can talk to them like human beings. In fact, they’ll help you out beyond the scope of their work because they care about your project. Overall, don’t hold back and be yourself.
