Travend is one of the leading online travel agencies in the country. We facilitate bookings for flights, buses, hotels, and also complete holiday packages. As the founder of Travend, I have an extensive background in the travel industry. I decided to start this company to provide end-to-end travel services to customers. Our website provides numerous options all at one place for customers’ ease, making travel bookings hassle-free.
For what projects/services did your company hire OpenteQ Technologies, and what were your goals?
Web Development Services The online travel business is very competitive and we needed an attractive and user-friendly website for our business. The backend for the website needed to have a robust architecture as well, because we deal with multiple channels and partners to provide the necessary information and services to our clients.

Based on responses to our RFP, we shortlisted a few web development providers, including OpenTeQ. After the vendor interviews, OpenTeQ was a clear choice for us. They came across as knowledgeable, professional and experienced, and also put forth an impressive proposal.

First, OpenTeQ led a round of discussions to requirement gathering. This included all our products, service verticals, and payment portal needs. Next, OpenTeQ developed a wireframe for the proposed website and provided an outline of the backend website architecture.
We had detailed discussions about the workflows to make sure that there were no loose ends. OpenTeQ team provided options for the UI/UX designs. The website was completely customized keeping our brand ethos in mind. Finally, the website was tested and successfully delivered to us within the given timeframe.

The new website has greatly enhanced the user experience. Searching for travel options and confirmation of bookings has been greatly simplified. OpenTeQ also integrated payment gateways on our website to facilitate online payments by different modes like netbanking, credit/debit cards as well as UPI payments.
This has resulted in a better conversion rate for us, owing to the ease of use. We have also been able to scale with the new architecture that allows us to cater to a wider customer base and expand our business. This project with OpenTeQ has given us a good RoI.

There were a few add-ons that we had not accounted for and were recommended later on. But because of OpenTeQ’s innovative approach, we could include the required tools to our website within our budget.
