We were approached Veritas Lab - by one of the largest US chain systems of medical laboratories which are focused on MRO, medical, DNA and drug testing. The only source of leads generating was its partnership with a number of clinics across the USA, and the existing Veritas website was old-fashioned and looked like it was assembled using a free site builder.

Our acquaintance with DentaCad took place at one of the international dental exhibitions in Minsk. Against the backdrop of foreign competitors DentaCad didn’t look competitive even despite the high level of service and the use of modern technologies.

The company also had some difficulties of order-processing laboratory services: the application form existed only in paper, the digitized x-ray images were very large, so

they had to save to external HDD or USB drivers.

    At the start of the project the customer has had an outdated website which absolutely not fit the image of a modern successful company.The potential clients of the laboratory had the wrong impression, which prevented it from expanding its presence in the dental market.

    After analyzing several competing websites, includes colleague’s websites from the USA and Europe, the OnTID team proposed an elegant design that surpassed all customer expectations. Corporate colors perfectly formed the basis.

  • AUTOMATINGTHE APPLICATION PROCESS

    One of the main problems that the company wanted to solve by upgrading the website is improving the speed and quality of customer service. It was decided to create an interactive form to create an application by the requirements from stakeholders. The intuitive format has significantly simplified the work of customers, and the database of applications within the CMS made it possible to instantly send and track orders

  • ABILITY TO DOWNLOAD LARGE FILES

    An important aspect of the project is transferring of large computed tomography files. Hard work has done to develop a solution for working with the server: for convenience of loading, the files are decomposed for later merging on the server into a single file.

    The DentaCad brand has strengthened its position in the dental services market, using modern website design.The application processing speed from the moment of registration until the finished customer orders increased by 3 times. Users note the convenience of the online form, the increase in orders has already reached 25+%.

When we first met the Kermetico, its website was old-hat and unbeautiful. Owners of the business were suspicious about the internet, especially about its business capabilities. As a result, they weren’t willing to pay much for the renovation despite a lack of any ready-made identity elements.  We weighed up all the pros and cons and found out that we can cover all preliminary requirements within the budget: the site Kermetico

needed wasn’t too complex in terms of the backend.  After all requirements were elicited, analyzed and recorded, we form the tasks list:TASK #1:  Create a brand new identity and design that will be industry-relevant.TASK #2: Investigate the core audience and think through usability according to it.TASK #3: Achieve a high level of quality. Result: The site we developed and delivered turned out to be much better than all the competitors' sites we have found. With its help the customer has already expanded its presence on some foreign markets. For what projects/services did your company hire OnTID?

We started to work with OnTID in order to develop a whole platform Jobswap from scratch. Our team has build the visual concept and the list of task how we see thing and what the platform should be capable to procure to users and OnTID's mission was to make it reality, to convert our idea into a working and future proof/scalable project.

The technology was supposed to be chosen accurately so we will not face any issues in the future by on boarding millions of users. On that level OnTID also show the best of their practise by suggesting us the solutions which are perfectly matching to our needs.

What were your goals for this project?

Jobswap should be oriantated to all possible mobile devices. It should be future proof being said, need to handle millions of users and provide the high speed and data treatment. OnTID has provided a high quality expertise on that level, since they have already made several online platforms which are operating with large data amount.

So we could accurately chose the technology which is perfectly fitting to Jobswap. Also since this project is in a very early stage business wise, the product was supposed to be built in a such way that we will be able to pivot easily in different business verticals, so the technical flexibility of this platform was a key. In our case Multi-service architecture has been chosen.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I have been in contact with more than 20 companies. The deciding element were the portfolio, the knowledge of technologies, the organisational and managing approach and the soft skills. Based on these points we have had several online meeting with CEO of OnTID, I was convinced pretty quickly that my choice will stop on OnTID.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

In the beginning of our collaboration with OnTID, the high level explanation and the wireframe of the concept have been provided. Based on this OnTID has estimated the possible work package.

I parallel way the UI design was provided and according to some minor changes OnTID was fine-tuning the development of Jobswap. However during the whole development I have been doing sometime some major changes, when it comes to the UI, to the main algorithms and some other feature, OnTID was staying highly flexible and open to my new ideas and changes, sometimes even proposing me even better solutions.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As being said above this is a very early stage business project, including a completely new and disruptive idea that should be implemented and tested further on different markets. The ambition to make this startup internationally scalable and I believe thanks to OnTID expertise and experience we are in the right direction.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Overall the project management was very high quality, agile and flexible in terms of tools. We were in daily in contact with developer team via Slack. They were planning in the beginning of the week the weekly sprints and by the end of the week OnTID was report me how was it going and what has been done.

As well as very detailed reports and sprints descriptions were provided. Deadlines were met always in time however I was constantly changing some ideas and features, OnTID has proven their professionalism and always achieved to respect the provided earlier deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The main strength is the flexibility and the level of competencies in product development that OnTID has.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I believe the only thing that could have been better is just working more together, the overall experience was just lovely.
