I’m the executive director of a seed certification company. We have representative offices in each region of Ukraine and five laboratories in its different regions.

For what projects/services did your company hire olymp, and what were your goals?

All the processes within the company were extremely outdated. Document flow and communication between departments and representative offices were carried out in the paper form. Collaboration with customers also took place through emails/mails and parcels with samples.

We hired olymp to develop a custom CRM/BPM solution that could cover our business needs. The main goal was to digitize processes within the company and transfer interaction with our customers to online.

How did you select olymp and what were the deciding factors?

We considered several companies for this project but chose olymp. They offered us the most suitable conditions.

They designed and developed a web-based CRM/BPM solution (Python/Django + Vue.js). We started with a number of discovery sessions to outline our current business processes, weak points, and desired goals.

After that, they provided us the strategy document with their vision on solution development: user flows, mockups, tech details, etc. We decided to go with monthly sprints.

At the end of each, we got a set of features on the staging server, where we had a chance to test the functionality and provide feedback to their team. After approval from our side, new features were published to the production server to our employees and clients. The final solution automated our core business flows

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 4 people in the team: project manager, UI/UX designer, and two devs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The processing of certification applications from our clients has been reduced from hours to minutes. By automating the generation and management of docs, we got rid of all the errors in documents.

We also halved our client support departments, as the system significantly accelerated and simplified the process of processing requests and communicating with customers. I’m unable to disclose all the information, but I can say that the project has radically affected company results in a positive way.

We worked in sprints. Progress was tracked through Asana (recently we switched to Jira). Communication was managed through emails and chats in messengers. Project management from their side was handled successfully. There were almost no delays in delivery.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were flexible and ready to quickly adapt to changing specifications. They didn’t just provide results that will meet the requirements, but took the initiative and offered their own original approaches to the execution of our business tasks.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Our company is completely satisfied with the quality of our cooperation. Looking forward to continuing our work together

I’m the founder of HQA Inc. We’re a manufacturing design company and we also provide the software to support it.

What challenge were you trying to address with olymp?

They’ve done a couple of projects for us, such as web design and data collection system development.

They designed our website. They mapped the website from scratch. They also helped us build a data collection system for our industrial equipment for our customers. They were a part of the frontend development of the database. This was a big data solution that involved lots of design, interface, and development. They used Python and Django.

What is the team composition?

I believe four people worked on this.

How did you come to work with olymp?

They were starting as a company years ago, and we considered them for a project but we didn’t go through with them. We decided to give them a try a few years ago and stuck with them.

The first project kicked off in September 2017, and they’re still our partners.

They’ve been a significant help. I can’t provide any clear metrics because it’s a complex project that they’re a part of.

We use Asana, and they integrated well into that. They’re great at project management. They’re always on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of work is always great. We never had any issues with them not completing the task in a stellar manner. They care about getting the job done and getting it done well.

Nothing now. If there’s ever something, they quickly work it out.

What were your goals for this project?

Increase conversion rate on every stage of a funnel, but keeping esthetics on high level. Flexible enough to continue low-level development.

How did you select this vendor?

I interviewed three contractors before my friend recommended me Olymp. Intro meeting went well so it was more like a gutt bid, but it definitely worked well.

We agreed on a weekly remote meeting to review results and fine-tune plan for next week. It may sound boring but it worked as expected, saving my time on low-level maintenance.

Radion was our contact person, and he did most of the design. There were also one or two part-timers who did markup and JS.

It is not that simple to calculate a direct increase in our goals because of seasonal factor, promo mix, etc, but based on some key indicators we gained 20-25% of funnel efficiency.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their involvement was as good as we could hope.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The first shot they did on the design concept was good enough to stick to it. Does not happen a lot in my experience.

Nothing special comes to my mind.
