Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a self-run gamer/streamer, trying to build up a community around high-level gaming as well as humor based on these games. I handle all of my streaming, recording, video production and social media management.
For what projects/services did your company hire NOLA Social Studios?
I was looking for information or insight on how to better grow my brand as a gamer and a streamer. How to reach the audience I am aiming for and create an environment which would encourage them to stay and come back, which would slowly result in a community being built.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to increase engagements on my social media posts which would hopefully result in an increase in engagement when I live stream.
How did you select this vendor?
I saw one of the employees of Nola posting about their willingness to sit down and talk to people in order to grow their online businesses and as I had been trying to ramp up my social media presence, it just seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
After I approached Nola and explained my position and where I wanted to go with my growth, my social media profiles were researched thoroughly and fairly quickly. From the information gathered, a list of "action items" was given to me and discussed point by point. This list wasn't some "get rich quick" scheme, but instead some very solid feedback on how to make better use of the social media platforms in the long term and use them to my advantage to grow organically. This also included being shown a handful of websites that could help me manage multiple social media accounts which was huge for me as I am the only one behind these accounts.
What was the team composition?
I worked one-on-one with Nicklaus Matos. Prior to our meeting he had done plenty of research which he presented in an orderly manner. He approached everything in a way where some of things he was saying made other things click before he got to those points and in a way where I was not overwhelmed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I was averaging ~25 views and 15-20 likes per video on Instagram. My first post following my meeting with Nola and without implementing all of their advice I got ~240 views and 40+ likes on my post.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Workflow was very effective. The project manager I spoke to got through all their points quickly and concisely. I was able to ask questions at any time and given great feedback on those questions. Communication felt very easy and flowed smoothly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
How effective the strategies we talked about were. Saw an almost immediate return just by tweaking a couple of things I was doing based on their advice. I can't wait to see what happens when I implement all of it.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of. Maybe email a recap of the meeting?
