Rent Boston Cars
MISSION
The cornerstone of Rent Boston Cars was to create a quick and simple process from reserving a car for specific dates to easy pickup/ drop-off. We decided to bring the look of the cars to life on the site focusing on high quality images of the cars the clients would be renting.
IMPACT
After extensive work we were able to bring each car to life on the webpage by taking powerful images of the exterior and the interior of these premium cars. The photos demonstrated how the cars would look when the clients picked up the cars in person.
SERVICES
Once the client would select the car that stood out to them, the next step was to hit the reserve button. We decided to have this button go directly to Turo where the client could reserve a date/time, and a pickup/drop-off location. Using Turo helped streamline the process and keep project costs low while still maintaining functionality.
OTHER
It was incredibly fun designing and creating this site. From bringing the cars to life to working with Turo to help create a hassle-free pickup and drop-off process. The end result was perfect, and the clients of Rent Boston Cars agree!

seqWell
We manage the seqWell site to make sure they are protected from attacks as well as ongoing improvements and updates to the site as per clients requests.

Patterson Flynn
Patterson Flynn reached out to us with a bunch of very innovative features they wanted to add to their online store. We set up all the requests for improvements including Augmented Reality for the users to see the products in the room that they have their mobile device in.

Freddie Designers
Freddie Designers requested we help them with backend functionality that included connecting to miltiple APIS and making sure the user flow works with all of them. We also helped them patch bugs on their stie to make sure there are no edge cases for user registration and form fills

Payline Data
Payline data needed some work done on the backend of their site along with creating some pages for launch.

Structures North
We worked together with the design team to build out a new website for Structures North. We created a project grid and many other features that the client requested following a design that was approved.

MD Auto
MD Auto reached out to us to create a website to replace their existing one. We reorganized the site and updated the copy and images as well as made improvements for SEO.

The Khesin Group
The Khesin Group reached out to us to create a website for their real estate company. We created a site for them to display listings and contact the agents.

Bontoni Shoes
MISSION
The overarching problem we had to solve was migrating a convoluted / distorted WordPress website setup to one that was easily adjustable and able to make mass edits. Afterwards we managed the site and made any adjustments or changes the client desired until he was satisfied to launch the site.
IMPACT
The site is now editable and making mass edits across the site to change a specific style is incredibly helpful as opposed to the previous version when we had to adjust the style on each individual page. The backend and frontend are connected making edits and adjustments easy to visualize and understand. Updates for the site are automatic to ensure that the website is secure and running efficiently.
SERVICES
We continue to offer ongoing support through hosting to help keep load times low. Through the maintenance plan we keep the site up to date which is crucial to running a website efficiently. We also change any style choices that the client no longer likes and swap it with their new ideas. We are always open to add new features that will help improve the site. Any bugs or issues that arise we work quickly to find the solution and solve the problem.
OTHER
When the client first originally reached out they wanted to manage the site themselves. To help them we created a website that is easily accessible and adjustable. We provided video tutorials to demonstrate how to perform common actions or edits. As well as answered any questions or concerns that they had about their site.

I work for and manage and small structural engineering firm in Salem Ma. We specialize in restoring historic structures and have 8 full time employees. I run the backend of the company including our online presence.
For what projects/services did your company hire NL Softworks, and what were your goals?
We hired NL to redo our website from scratch as it hadn’t been updated in years. The site needed to be rebuilt from the ground up and we were looking for someone to give us a modern website at an affordable cost.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I have worked with NL on other projects before after they were recommended to me by an acquaintance and I was pleased with there work. The affordable price and wide array of options they offered well suited the needs of our project.

We had multiple meeting over zoom over a few months to discuss what we needed from the site and how we wanted it to be structured. A friend of mine that specializes in graphic design also helped with the design work and NL was happy to include h in the project. The site was laid out before it was launched and we were guided through every step of the process.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with Ed Novak of NL on this project who handled the majority of the work on the website. He was very helpful and extremely easy to communicate with.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have already had many clients and associates compliment us on our new website. The project inquiry feature that was added to the website has already helped bring new business in.

Working with NL was extremely easy and efficient throughout the project. We communicated over email, teams, zoom, phone calls and texts. Ed at NL was always available no matter the time to hear my feedback and answer questions. I could not have asked for better customer service
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think the affordable price for the high quality of work provided was the best part of working with NL as well as how easy it was to communicate with them. They always listened to our input and we’re able to make our goals a reality. We are very pleased with our finished website and the continuing service we receive from them with constantly updating and tweaking the website as well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I do not have any criticism at this point. As this all projects there weee hiccups along the way but NL did a great job at handling these issues.

Not really. I can just say they always deliver on time.

They always deliver on time. They are cool and calm regardless of the situation which makes working with them a pleasure. They communicate exceptionally well being honest, accurate, and timely in their communication.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Working with Edward. If there is anything he doesn't know, he can quickly figure it out.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Sending clients a production schedule at the start of an assignment would be an improvement. I see this issue with virtually all development resources I work with.

I knew NL Softworks had extensive experience in building websites and creating quality products. Deciding factors were their prior experience, project examples, cost, and speed with which they would be able to deliver the finished product.

We had a number of virtual meetings to go over what I was looking for in the website both from an information standpoint and visual standpoint. NL Softworks then built the site, and would update as progress was made so I could see if it was what I was looking for. We would continue checking in until the project was complete.

Initially we discussed moving the existing site over from Wix with minor tweaks, but subsequently I appoarched NL Softworks for complete redesign because I had subsequently rebranded and needed a complete redo. Our redesign project is ongoing.

The project is ongoing to I can't quite speak to the outcomes yet.

I like the communication style and the turnaround times which matches my own work style. I do appreciate that NL Softworks listens to the client but also makes helpful design suggestions which really makes them the expert in what they do!

NL Softworks output quickly received praise from their visitors. They were extremely easy to work with throughout the project thanks to their efficiency. The vendor also always listened to their input in order to bring their goals into reality.
