A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a project manager at TeleGroup, LLC.
What challenge were you trying to address with Nice2GeekYou?
We engaged Nice2GeekYou to handle all our IT needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Nice2GeekYou’s services includes access control installation, cable and wire installation, and troubleshooting for security doors. They also have an upcoming project with us in Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina.
We work hand-in-hand in our projects. I function as the project manager and we talk about what each of our third-party projects entails. After that, the team typically gathers all the materials we need and establishes the timeline. Then, the team meets our customers and delivers what they need.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with two people from Nice2GeekYou, and they serve as our field engineers and technicians.
How did you come to work with Nice2GeekYou?
Our company’s president found them. When we needed to bring in a new group for our project in San Antonio, our president invited Nice2GeekYou. After talking to them, we decided to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $25,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership began in June 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve determined their success based on the approval of our customers. If our customers sign off on their project, that means Nice2GeekYou has done a great job. Anecdotally, they’ve provided outstanding technical and customer support.
Whenever we’ve experienced downtime, they’ve done an excellent job of coming in with their equipment and solving our issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. They’re our go-to partner, and we want them to handle all of our outsourced projects. Overall, we’re glad that we got the opportunity to work with them.
How did Nice2GeekYou perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Microsoft Office as one of our project management tools, and we communicate through calls, email, and text.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their responsiveness and their ability to manage difficult situations have been impressive. On top of that, they’re highly committed to making our customers happy by getting things right.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t really have anything else to say that they need to do or improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to the Nice2GeekYou team and clearly communicate your goals to them. They’ll do a good job of asking questions to find out your real issues.
