The vendor was selected online. The selection was based on past experience, ratings and reviews and costing.

The project was to create a fintech environment where the investors can take investment advisory through our portal. It required knowledge of the financial industry and building a market place. The technologies used were - PHP, JAVA, HTML, J-query, Bootstrap, CSS etc.

There were 2 developers and a designer dedicated for our project.

Our clients love the new design and we have got a good feedback about the user interface being so easy to use.

Everything was systematic. We were given regular updates and even if there was any delay, we were informed in advance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about the company is the owner and the staff. They are very polite and never say "NO" to anything. Not even once did the owner ask for any sort of payment or stopped our work for payment. They were open for all sort of changes and the delivery was also done very smoothly.

We wanted to develop an online doctor consulting app, where patients can get online consultation on video and they can provide them with online prescriptions. Also, they can take online appointments with doctors as well if they wanted to meet personally.

We interviewed few vendors before hiring NBT for our project, we hired them after our conversation with them, they had existing experience with our concept and had great knowledge as per our requirement, that's why we preferred them and got a good price as well.

Doctor consulting app as the name suggests, we needed an app for online doctor consulting, where patients and doctors can schedule online appointments and can have online consultation and prescription. Need of a complete online doctor consultation system that provides Audio and Video consultation, the patient can pay online and can get doctor consultation online. This idea generate from pandemic situation where patients can connect with doctors online easily,

We were given 1 project manager, 1 team lead, 1 Backend Developer, 1 designer, 1 frontend developer and 2 flutter developers.

Overall it was very good, it got delayed a little bit but there is some change of plan. They delivered work as promised and made changes as we requested.

We were getting daily updates and having weekly calls to check progress and discuss further steps. They provided us demo link to check progress.

They are very supportive and they never hesitate to make changes as per our request.

Work speed might be a little quicker.

I'm an owner of a tech startup. Our company helps users to make animation films through crowdfunding.

We hired Next Big Technology to customize an existing crowdfunding platform we bought from another vendor so that it'd suit our business model. This platform was poorly designed and many of the functionalities didn't work. So the challenge was Next Big Technology had to spend a lot of time understanding the existing system without which they'd be unable to understand our requirements. Our previous vendors all failed on this and we almost gave it up. We're so glad we found the right IT partner.

Our selection KPIs includes minimum project cost, hourly rate, years in business, company size, number of reviews (verified vs non-verified in each level vs overall), overall rating, number of projects in each cost level, project duration, number of projects from North America, etc. Compared to competitors, Next Big Technology doesn't have the highest number of reviews but their average rating is very high especially small projects on which they did very well. When a company is able to do small projects well, then this company can handle big projects much better than competitors due to their attitude of attention to detail. If sometimes a vendor makes a grammatical mistake on the contract, this shouldn't be the deciding factor of carelessness. The same thing happened to us and Next Big Technology proved us wrong. The quality of their work is far beyond our expectations.

We have custom work for both frontend for users and backend for admin. We have different modules with different functionalities. We divided hundreds if not thousands of requirements into four milestones. We began each milestone after the last one was finished. Most of the time different functionalities are interconnected so sometimes it was hard for us to decided the finishing of milestones which is more of an art than science. The technology we used is pretty basic which is PHP.

We work with three people: their CEO Amit, one developer, and one tester.

Our key measure is if a certain functionality is implemented after sending feedback for only once.

In the beginning, we deciced to micro-manage everything but as the project goes, we just let them set their own pace because their work quality is quite high. They sent progress reports which were cut out by us to save time. Sometimes if there's communication issue that can't be cleared by email or phone call, we'd just use Zoom videos or meetings.   

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They're not only willing to spend time to understand your requirements but also willing to go an extra mile to make sure quality is guaranteed. They're a
gem in an ocean of mediocrity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Quote can be more accurate if more time is spent on understanding an existing system. Developer should be trained to think like a user instead of only a developer. Eventually any website is designed for users not developers.

Our company has launched an e-marketplace for promotion of african products and services. I am Managing Director.

We have hired NBT to develop application on the webapp. We were expected to add some features to make the platform much easier to use for user. NBT has installed RFQ, Pop up on first login to promote our top service. NBT has reviewed the database set up to create buyer page and seller page.

Among 3 webapp development companies we chose NBT for their best quote and the delivery time given.

The project has been developped on wordpress. The different parts of the project were:

• create buyer page
• create seller page 
• create a pop up to introduce Trade Assurance at first login of buyer.
• create RFQ (Request For Quotation)
• integrate a payment gateway
• integrate a search bar tool for sellers/products
• integrate newsletter subcription

All have been done and linked well.

I have worked mainly with the project manager who was transmitted to the IT peopole in his office our requirement and amendments to make at every step of the project.

After delivery of the project, we have noticed that the webapp was much easier to use. The users were no longer facing bugs and difficulties to use the platform. We are all satisfied at 95%.

When we handed over the project to NBT we had listed 7 major requirements to fullfill. At each requirement completed they requested us to check if it works well at our end and if we are ok with that or any input we wish to add. that was actually very good. We used to communicate through skype. we were receiving at every an update on progress of the project. Timeline also has been respected overall.

I found impressive the passion they shared with our project, they used to give us more advise to make it better and easy use. Whenever we requested a change on something already done, they never complained on the contrario. They listened to our needs and made those happen through the end product.

I wish if they could reduce one more time their bill that will be greater.

Rajat was very responsive & easily accessible via WhatsApp or video calls. We were satisfied with the quality of work and support as the team handled any changes and requests during the project.

Their budgets were reasonable and their ability to tackle unfamiliar challenges was outstanding.

The only thing if we had to come up with something would be having better communication on the exact method and technologies that were deployed on our website.

We weren't made aware that they would be using a off the shelf code-ignitor template script for the admin panel, and were under the impression that it would be something done more custom for us.

However, since everything in the end worked and was within budget, we didn't have a problem.

I am the CEO and director of Rod Edwards Photography and VR Tour Bus London. My company produce content for websites, advertsing and PR campaigns, publishing and design industries. We are based in UK but work worldwide and have been trading for over 25 years.

We wanted to develop a new Virtual Reality (VR) app for use with Google Cardboard and smartphones. The apps were required for both iOS and Android. We also required customisation of Wordpress template for the product website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to generate global app downloads and develop the VR Tour Bus app for Google Cardboard VR viewer and retail in London.

How did you select Next Big Technology?

After spending a considerable amount of time searching the web, we stumbled across NBT and several other agencies in UK and India. We received quotes from several other agencies and some agencies didn't even respond. App development can be very expensive, making a profit impossible for all but the biggest companies. Next Big Technology won the tender on quality of service, knowledge and price.

We first approached NBT (and other agencies) with a Virtual Reality (VR) idea and requested a quote. Having asked numerous questions, the project appeared possible for a reasonable price - so we progressed. We worked on the project in three stages and the project is now under constant improvement and maintenance.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with Amit Shukla who is the director of NBT. He managed the whole project from start to finish. The NBT team of experts have knowledge in many specialist areas which is one great benefit to working with an agency rather than individuals.

The new VR Tour Bus app is out in January 2021 along with launch of new website www.vrtourbus.co.uk.

It was very effective as i dealt directly with Amit who briefed his development team at NBT.

Efficiency, knowledge, courtesy, professionalism and cost.

None that I can think of. It's always good to visit and speak with the team in person, but in this day and age it's not necessary. Everything that was required could be achieved remotely.

It would be great if they could start communicating using screen shares so it is easier to explain what changes are needed. Though they are extremely good at understanding verbal or written requests.
