Our websites weren’t user-friendly, so we needed help building new ones.

New Light Digital has created two websites for us from scratch, making them user-friendly for our guests per our request. The sites allow our guests to easily book with us and see our rates, amenities, and different rooms available. Now, New Light Digital takes care of the site’s maintenance on an ongoing basis.

We started working together around March 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Daniel has done a great job, and we’re happy with our new sites because they’ve worked very well for us. They’re very easy to use for booking, so we’ve also seen an increase in traffic and other metrics.

How did New Light Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

New Light Digital is excellent at meeting deadlines. On occasions, they’ve needed to wait for us because they’re always ready to work and deliver everything on time. They’ve also been in constant communication with us throughout the project. We communicate via phone, Messenger, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Communication is key, and New Light Digital has done an outstanding job in constantly communicating with us. I’ll keep working with them and recommend them to others because their communication lines are very good, and their design work is excellent.

No. So far, everything has been good.

I am the founder and owner of a fitness start-up in Moldova.

For what projects/services did your company hire New Light Digital?

We were looking at New Light Digital for guidance on how to build a web presence from scratch. They were recommended to us by a friend who had worked with Daniel before.

I do not regret hiring him for this project, on the contrary I recommend their services to anyone who wants to grow online with a shoestring budget.

We were looking at a handful of other agencies, but the level of expertise and attention that we got from Daniel was absolutely unparalleled.

The result was a phenomenal new website that I am certain we could not have received from another agency. The level of expertise we got is unmatched for Moldova, as well as Eastern Europe, I am certain!

New Light Digital is basically an American agency, and you can tell from their work ethics. We do not regret choosing them either.

Our website is ranking on number one for most of our target keywords with minimal effort thanks to Daniel’s guidance. He also provided extensive SEO and content support for us over the last two years.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow has been excellent. We worked with Daniel the entire time, which was a welcome development, since we’ve had previous bad experience with rookie account managers at other agencies. This was a breath of fresh air.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge they had about web design, SEO, content and digital marketing in general. Daniel and his team were more than easy to work with, and they explained everything at each step of the project. Also the responsiveness and customer service have been flawless.

Nothing i can think of. They are true professionals and you will not regret hiring them!

I am the owner, primary consultant, and primary content creator for a small company that creates training and resources to help teachers thrive both in and out of the classroom.

For what projects/services did your company hire New Light Digital?

We needed a brand-new corporate website and an overhaul of our e-learning website to bring the design in line with the new corporate website.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did quite a bit of research and eventually found New Light Digital's portfolio and liked it. We had already been reading and appreciating New Light Digital's blog. After a call with Daniel, the owner, we felt that the combination of quality, cost, and personal attention was just right.

After the discovery meeting and email correspondence with further details about the company, project goals, and existing brand information, New Light Digital proposed a design for the main website. (For the course website, we still needed to see if the course delivery platform, Thinkific, would allow for the degree of customization we wanted.) We suggested some tweaks, but the original design was already excellent. New Light Digital was incredibly quick and wonderfully patient with some delays that came entirely from our end. Over the course of three months, the full corporate website was designed and built, and the course website was brought fully into alignment design-wise and integrated with the corporate website—something we had doubted would be possible to the extent that we wanted.

Feedback from users and from peer companies shows that the sites created by New Light Digital are impressive and inviting. The new sites make it possible for us to market to and land new clients that we could not reach before.

It was perfect. Teams on both sides were small, with quick and effective communication by email and immediate action taken on our requests.

I am a photographer that specializes in portraits, portraiture, and more. I’m the owner and the photographer of Launa Penza Photography.

What challenge were you trying to address with New Light Digital?

I needed to revamp and update my website. I wanted my platform to have a new look and feel to it. As a result, I hired New Light Digital. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

I met Daniel (Founder & Chief Strategist) and spoke to him. The New Light Digital team asked me if I want my WordPress site built from scratch or if I want to select one of the existing templates that they have. 

Once I decided on one of their existing templates, Daniel sent me some links and examples of other sites that he had designed. I liked one particular look that he did, but it was not customized for a photographer. After that, we talked about how he could make it fit with my image and profession. I do a lot of behind-the-scenes types of video work, and I wanted to make sure that could be displayed on my site. 

I wanted them to make sure the site was user-friendly for my external stakeholders. Daniel also walked me through how to access the functions and features on my site. They now provide additional support such as SEO services.

When I’m not necessarily satisfied with the backend work, Daniel is my main point of contact. Then, he has a team of designers that tweaks or fixes the site.

I received an email from New Light Digital. In that particular email, I saw their company’s services. I was skeptical at first because they were overseas and my previous designer was local. 

However, Daniel assured me that there was never going to be a problem. He also said that he would always be available. I saw that he was super personable and easy to contact, so I gave them a try.

We’ve spent $1,200–$1,600. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our company began working with them in August 2020, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m really happy with the concepts they sent me at the start of the engagement. Moreover, I’ve had clients that have reached out and they’ve complimented my website. New Light Digital’s pricing is also very fair and good. 

How did New Light Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Daniel is really helpful. Whenever I ask him for changes, it is usually done within 24 hours. We use Zoom and phone calls to communicate. Most of the time, we do screen sharing and that has been very helpful during moments when I needed to learn how to do things on the backend of WordPress. He really makes sure I understand what is going on. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service really stands out. Even though I had my doubts about them being overseas, they have been doing great and exceeding my expectations.

I have nothing to say about areas they could improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you have any concerns about New Light Digital being an overseas company, I think Daniel can make you feel very assured that you’re going to be taken care of. I will always be glad to refer them and I couldn’t be happier with New Light Digital.

I am the owner of a private equity firm. Our mission is to directly source undervalued institutional quality private investment opportunities and syndicate to investors.

For what projects/services did your company hire New Light Digital, and what were your goals?

Our website was created by a group with very little experience. We struggled with it both in terms of functionality and design. We hired New Light Digital to revamp it. The goal was to get a fresh, unique design that looked professional and modern.

By doing this, we were hoping to increase our traffic substantially by end of year. Also we wanted to ensure that existing clients and partners saw our website and got reassured that they made the right decision.

How did you select New Light Digital and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for competent web developers who also had a good design eye. We had shortlisted about 4 firms, and eventually chose this vendor based on their past projects, very good eye, and good price-quality ratio.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss goals and expectations. From there, the team delivered the wireframes, design mock-up, and finally the developed site on a test server. We got to provide feedback every step of the way, and the team at New Light Digital went above and beyond to address every one of our needs and any issues we identified were fixed quickly.

We worked with the owner of the agency, Daniel. But I know that there were several people working behind the scenes. All communication was quick and to the point, which was appreciated.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we saw immediate results. Our organic search traffic has jumped 44% over the previous month, and it has been growing since. Clients and existing partners love the new design, we get compliments all the time, particularly on how much easier it is to navigate and find things on the new site.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

We used text and phone calls for all communications. This proved to be very efficient. Even though they are based abroad, it really felt like they were next door. Daniel has an active US phone number, and his English is spotless. So we understood each other very well.

I've particularly enjoyed how responsive they were. In my previous experience, it would take people at least one or two days to hear back from them. With Daniel it was almost instant (the latest we ever heard back from them was the following morning, due to the time difference). Overall, a very good experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The problem-solving skills were very impressive. They did not let anything fester, and addressed all issues head-on. This was appreciated, because we didn't have experience in this process, so the extra attention was welcome. They explained everything very clearly, and even jumped on screen-sharing calls to show us how certain things worked with the new website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had initially thought that SEO was included in the new website design. Daniel has clarified that some minor SEO is included, but that more extensive SEO would need to be done on a monthly basis.

We've actually signed up for it, and are now implementing a small SEO & Content Marketing program. It works well so far, as the content actually allows us to educate potential clients on our services, and provides an SEO boost. We might add social media to the mix in the future as well. We help agricultures succeed by providing them with the tools and resources they need. I am in charge of marketing at our company.

For what projects/services did your company hire New Light Digital?

We had an old website that did not look good and did not provide the value needed for our customers. We needed guidance on how to take it to the next level in terms of functionality, content, and technical integrations (CRM, forms, digital marketing).

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to have a way for clients to easily find us, contact us with any questions, but also find all the information they need in terms of the agriculture products we carry. We also needed an ecommerce solution integrated into our site.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected New Light Digital given their level of expertise. Even though they were a bit higher priced than other vendors we looked at, they proved their expertise and experience. They immediately understood what the challenges were, and were able to produce a tangible plan on how to address them.

Describe the project in detail.

It was our corporate website. https://elitagrotehnologie.md/ New Light Digital produced a plan on what each page should contain. We went over it and provided feedback which was then implemented into the strategy.

Daniel and his team provided us two rounds of review for the design phase, and another two rounds during the development phase, to iron out any remaining issues. The result was a marvelous website which we are very proud of.

What was the team composition?

We worked only with Daniel, who is the owner of the company. This was nice, because there were no junior account managers to deal with (we've had bad experience with this in the past). We know there were two designers and two developers involved in our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months of website launch, we saw an increase in traffic of 76% from Google. Also our bounce rates have dropped by 68%, and the time on page has doubled. This is without us doing anything else on SEO. We plan on investing in this in the future, to take full advantage of our new website.

We had excellent communication with the New Light Digital team. They went above and beyond to implement all our requests and feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The experience and knowledge they brought to the table is very impressive. We wouldn't have been able to accomplish the results we are getting without their extensive background in UX design and SEO best practices.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It could have been done faster, but this was partially an issue on our end as well. In the end, the high quality of the product is the most important, and we are very happy with the result.
