I am in placement advisory at a financial services company that is developing a new beverage brand.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We needed direction in branding for our new venture capital project in the beverage and alcohol industry.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NEUE WORLD assisted us with design and branding for a new line of ready-made cocktails.
They put together every aspect of our branding. NEUE WORLD did the name, brand identity, and brand narrative for the product. They also helped us with designs for our packaging, containers, corporate colors, and corporate identity.
Part of NEUE WORLD’s package design included putting together several sleeve and container mockups for us to choose from. Their team also put together a one-page, “coming soon,” website from the content we provided.

We worked with four teammates, including a branding director, a researcher, and branding and design professionals— our main point of contact was Jayant (Founder), who was more on the website design side.
How did you come to work with NEUE WORLD?
We had a mutual client with NEUE WORLD, and they recommended NEUE WORLD to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $5,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We completed the bulk of our project between May–August 2021, but we’re still finalizing the website.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our product hasn’t launched yet, but their output has been excellent. NEUE WORLD put a lot of attention into our needs and formulated precisely what we wanted.
How did NEUE WORLD perform from a project management standpoint?
I would give them an A for project management. There were clear timelines and deadlines were always met. If deadlines were postponed or moved, it was always for legitimate reasons.
There were several rounds of presentations where they showed us the deliverables so we could determine how to move forward at each stage — they sent us 2–4 different design directions each time to help narrow down our specifications until they delivered the final branding and packaging materials. They were attentive to detail and they grasped what we wanted immediately.
They work well as a team, and in meetings we really delved into the project details. We saw in our weekly meetings just how much research they had put into their work. We had conference calls that would last over three hours, but it never felt redundant — it was never as if they were delving into a project without properly preparing for it. Every call was valuable and straightforward.
Overall, their communication and delegation of tasks were great — this was the best experience I’ve had with a small agency so far. I saw how the teammates at NEUE WORLD focused on their areas of expertise without crossing into another field. Communication was very easy and pleasant.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their teamwork is out of the ordinary, especially for smaller agencies and freelancers. With those groups, you might get lucky and you’ll find someone who is good technically or diligent.
However, each teammate at NEUE WORLD had industry-specific expertise and delivered within it while working in unison with the rest of the team. Of course, having a larger team runs a greater risk of finding a teammate not being on par with the rest of the team, but that isn’t something I worry about with them. All four team members I worked with were technically skilled and had excellent communication skills.
Often with designers, there may be better outcomes if clients give clear directions and don’t emphasize the need for ongoing communication. But that wasn’t the case with NEUE WORLD — with their team, it was a collaborative process. It was an excellent experience in every respect.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any critiques. I would only advise them to continue to capitalize on the assets that they’ve developed — they need to preserve their noteworthy, standout team and keep doing good work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise potential clients to delve as much as they can into the entire process as early as possible. This will help communication down the line — we had several calls where we had major breakthroughs and they were the catalysts for final outputs that were true to our expectations.
It was a huge plus that we were involved in the entire project from the beginning and that we regularly held conference calls. It’s important to be as involved as a project may require — clients gain from increased communication and involvement with the team throughout the process.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of product and design at Buy Box Experts. The company is based in the US but I’m based in the UK. Our company is effectively like an Amazon agency wherein we help brands who sell on Amazon conduct their sales more effectively. We improve their conversion on existing listings and manage their ad spends to enable them to sell more.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We needed help scaling in the short term, so we brought in NEUE WORLD to take on some of the design work for a platform that we’re building.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NEUE WORLD is designing a system that we could build off of. They’re helping us create a platform that our internal team could use to manage and find all of our clients’ accounts. On a simple level, it’s a system where we could input the details of each of our clients. However, on a more interesting level, it houses dashboards and metrics that show how well our partners are performing and provides insight on what needs improvement in their operations.
Besides sketching the actual design, NEUE WORLD is also responsible for managing the design-related tickets that come through. Those are their main duties. Beyond that, they’re also working with us to manage the versioning, making sure that people who are working on the same file do not overwrite each other’s work.

We wanted to work with just one designer from their team since the product we’re working on is quite complicated. Once the team leader understood the project, he upskilled another designer from their team.
How did you come to work with NEUE WORLD?
I had worked with NEUE WORLD individually in the past. I wanted to work with them again on this project since I knew they had experience and expertise in creating better designs, systems, and processes.

We started working together in May 2021 on an ad-hoc basis. We now have the team on a permanent retainer.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t really have a success metric other than the fact that the system is working and it's working well. We’re effectively ahead of development because NEUE WORLD turns around design work within a time frame that works for us or one week before the start of a sprint.
How did NEUE WORLD perform from a project management standpoint?
We work well together. It’s one of the reasons I reached out to them again in the first place. They do a lot of project management on their end, which is ideal as I can just wait for them to be done with their piece.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Quality of work is really hard to find when it comes to design especially since we’re working with a pretty UX-heavy product. We needed a team that could not only make our product look attractive but also understand how it solves a problem — and NEUE WORLD was definitely that.

Treat them the way you would treat your own team. As the relationship grows, NEUE WORLD will work as hard as you need them to in order to perfectly deliver what you need. They’re an open, honest, and transparent company, so they would expect the same in return.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Priveat Technology Inc, a market network that connects fine dining restaurants to consumers. We also facilitate how such restaurants can engage with customers in their homes as we redefine the market.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We previously engaged programmers and developers who had done a terrible job. They didn’t deliver on the level of excellence, timing, promise, or contract that we expected. NEUE WORLD pretty much came to our rescue when they audited our code. They worked to understand what we built and figured out how we could bring the code to where we wanted it to be.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We built a completely customized platform, and the NEUE WORLD team helped us improve our UX design. They also helped us with our SEO performance by jumping into the backend architecture of our website. The team streamlined user stories during the development, making their services an all-encompassing offer. For tech stacks, they used Node.js, React, and Angular.
Currently, the platform serves as a booking site where there are various product listings. It contains many user stories and UX funnels that our teams try to simplify from the starting to the end point. In a nutshell, our platform functions similarly to AirBnb, except we list fine dining restaurants. End users can have the most popular restaurants in their city to cater their event and do the last parts of the meal in their kitchen.
The website hasn’t been launched yet, but we’re already in the pre-launch period. We’re finalizing the last details of the platform while our commercial team builds content with our suppliers. Moreover, we’re planning to launch in Dubai since it’s a high-end product; we expect it to work in that market. Our company also plans to keep NEUE WORLD as our in-house tech team until it makes financial sense for us to bring our own people in-house. We’ve integrated them into our platform to help us achieve our desired results.
What is the team composition?
So far, we’ve engaged around seven people from NEUE WORLD. I mainly work with their founder, CTO, and technical team.
How did you come to work with NEUE WORLD?
Prior to meeting NEUE WORLD, we worked with an in-house CTO that we found on LinkedIn, and he ended up stealing from us. I wasn’t a technical person — I’m the ideas person — so I knew absolutely nothing about the technology space. As a result, I trusted the CTO and his handling of our tech development. He was also a shareholder then, so I said ok when he asked for some of the money we’d raised. Then, he completely disappeared after wasting three months of our time without building anything.
Simply put, we were in an unfriendly situation. Meanwhile, I was friends with Jay (Founder), who was then working for a friend of mine. Given that I was in a tight spot, I reached out to people I trusted. That friend then gave high praise for NEUE WORLD, telling me to reach out to Jay to ask for help. I immediately started speaking with Jay, who said that he understood our issues. He then started planning how we could move forward with the code, promising that we could build the platform and launch it. That was how we started working together.
How much have you invested with them?
With NEUE WORLD, we’ve spent less than $10,000. However, we’ve already spent $20,000 and an entire year in deep thoughts and planning for the product.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
NEUE WORLD has done an excellent job. The result of their work has allowed us to raise more money. One of our investors is an ex-Salesforce senior employee, and he’s looked through our UX. He’s called it striking and compelling, which makes me happy.
On top of that, I’ve also engaged people from other companies, and they’ve said the UX is clean and polished — the platform doesn’t look like an MVP; it looks like an evolved product. On a conceptual level, people in the restaurants have described the product as the coolest thing they’ve seen since sliced bread.
From my perspective, I see NEUE WORLD deliver week after week. They conduct front- and back-of-the-week meetings to show us what has been done and what needs to be done. Their process is highly structured, and it pleases my OCD brain.
How did NEUE WORLD perform from a project management standpoint?
NEUE WORLD’s project management is excellent. Everything we do is on Asana. We’ve also integrated their team into our Slack channel. With these tools, it’s easy for us to check things and provide feedback. We create actions and knock them down easily.
Moreover, the NEUE WORLD team has provided their services in a structured way. Everything is broken down into milestones, and we know the timelines and responsible people that handle such tasks. They consider our feedback to make sure that the deliverables are on time and have the quality that we expect. In other words, they’re understanding; they know what we do, and the team is highly structured in the way they accomplish tasks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Jay understands us. We don’t simply tell them what they have to do; they critique our plans and tell us whether we’re making a mistake or we have a good idea. They tell us what to think about, essentially providing us with advisory and feedback. Given that, I end up giving Jay an overview of my ideas, and he prioritizes them into what’s doable now, tomorrow, and so on. This allows us to fill our post-MVP development buckets. Overall, we have a nice symbiosis.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t. I’m truly pleased with what they’re doing. As we undergo our QA processes, we find bugs, but those are part of any development process. I’m super picky and expect things to be done perfectly, so I’m happy to complain — but I don’t have anything to complain about with NEUE WORLD.

What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We needed NEUE WORLD to develop and design our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NEUE WORLD created our website on Webflow. It was designed uniquely so our verticals could have an independent platform where they could express themselves.
Upon visiting our website, the viewer will see these unique features created for our verticals, and they won’t be bored because each has its own design and elements. It has good aesthetics, and it’s easy to navigate.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with Jay (CEO & Founder). He was involved in every stage of the project — developing the website, working on the design, and managing our content.
How did you come to work with NEUE WORLD?
I liked Jay’s personal involvement when approaching design projects — that is very crucial for a company like ours. Unlike other companies where the CEOs only ever introduce themselves without getting down to business with you, Jay was accessible and willing to execute the work for us. NEUE WORLD created a detailed website with great functionalities and a high aesthetic value. I would happily give it a 10/10 rating. In fact, a lot of my friends, fellow travelers, and other industry members who saw the website absolutely loved it. It’s fresh and solid, unlike other travel websites that exist right now.

We communicated via email, phone calls, and WhatsApp. Jay was good at communicating and meeting deadlines. Being my go-to person for the project, he was always available and responsive. He was there whenever we needed to discuss any issue.

We were most impressed by NEUE WORLD’s creativity and the solutions that they provided. We never encountered problems, and they were always prepared with a suitable solution or a better way of doing things.
Another impressive thing was Jay’s willingness to push his limits in design. I encouraged him to do so and he accepted it. He did not impose what the design or end results should be. Instead, he went the extra mile to meet our benchmark.

I’m the founder of Spera Management, a boutique financial firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
The website I’d developed wasn’t demonstrating what our expertise was, so we needed someone to help us. The content didn’t show that rather than just being a bookkeeping company, we are focused on high-level financial deliveries.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our old website was loading very slowly, so NEUE WORLD revamped it, managing the whole process from end-to-end in around 30–40 days. The job focused on content writing and design, with them interviewing some of our existing clients, as well as our employees and co-founder, to form an understanding of our work. Now, they provide real-time changes to the website.
They used a simple WordPress tool to design the logo, as well as other traditional tools. The initial logo looked a bit awkward, but they sharpened the image and twisted it 45 degrees and it made a lot more sense. They also described why they slanted the logo.
Beyond the website, they’ve helped us design and develop marketing materials, especially in the form of PowerPoint presentations, business cards, and giveaways we often do with our clients. In addition, they compartmentalized our services, and we adapt them into our brochure and service profiles.
Finally, NEUE WORLD monitors how many hits we get, from what country they originate, and who we’ve been approached by.

I’m the CEO and founder of a global marketplace for luxury fashion called The List. We connect retail stores around the world to customers. If someone wants to buy a Gucci sneaker, they can place an order on the platform, and then it is shipped to their door.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We were launching our iOS app and we had to make some improvements on the UX/UI.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired them to help us with the design process from a UX perspective. They’ve worked on screen designs for the current website. They’ve built it so that if a visitor clicks on a product, there are some elements of the product detail page to highlight the authenticity a bit more, along with all taxes and duties that are included.
There are two versions, which are mobile responsive. The iOS app has a similar flow, from the first screen when users arrive, to the detail pages of the product, designing the story concept, and multiple UI elements.
We have an engineering team, so we’ve collaborated with NEUE WORLD to go hand-in-hand through the design process with alterations and feedback. They’ve also worked on the project specifications a bit and then handed it over in a presentable and digestible way for the engineering team. They’ve taken care of both elements. They don’t just dump the files, they align with our engineering team.

We didn’t have to wait three months for delivery since we’ve broken everything up into pieces.
How did NEUE WORLD perform from a project management standpoint?
Google Docs is mainly what we use — they also use Atlassian with the engineering team and specifications go into Confluence. We are a tech company, so we don’t require big presentations or anything like that. We spoke on a weekly basis and have feedback loops. It’s been a pleasant and pretty efficient process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The delivery time and level of quality are the most impressive. They frequently get everything done on time and work quickly. Whatever day a delivery is scheduled for, the designs are ready and the quality is good because of their communication and feedback loops with the engineering team. We have a very efficient and fast process — the quality just fits.

They could have more people so we could give them a lot more work, but I think this is a typical agency problem.

Have very good and detailed project briefings. Based on our experience, if we don’t deliver a concrete briefing and clear objective, it’s more difficult for any agency to understand our desires. It means there are more feedback loops needed. If you do your homework first, you will have better results.

I'm the general partner of a software development firm. We focus on design, but we’re also a development agency looking to scale up on new projects.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
We need consistent designer support as we're scaling up our client base and adding new clients to our portfolio.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We bring the NEUE WORLD team in to augment our process for high-end design projects. We have designers and strategists on our team as well, but I reach out to them when we have a project that fits their expertise.
They come on board and do 2–3 weeks of discovery with us. As we do the discovery, we learn about the project together. Jay (Founder) gives us some quotes for their designers. Then, we get on calls with them. After we do the scoping and discovery, the team takes a week and does creative mood boarding, deciding where designs can go. Then, we immediately start shifting into development.
The end deliverable is usually a finite set of mockups that’s pretty much an aggregation of design systems with a strong user experience.

NEUE WORLD has talented designers. Since we have a strong eye for design, being able to bring in a team that’s in line with our standard for great design has been game-changing. His team has designs that are ready for the market. When the products come, I feel as though they define the categories that we play into.
We're never trying to design anything that's subpar. We're always trying to design something that's going to push our client inches or miles ahead of the competition, and that's hard. It's not easy to take all the data, look at the competitors, and then design something seamless and that looks and feels better than everything else. NEUE WORLD executes on that hard challenge really well.
A lot of designers are visual designers, but you’ll see true UX designers in the way they craft their mindset around a problem. They propose thoughtful solutions and strategies. Jay’s team and their vision around executing design and making thoughtful, cutting-edge deliverables are the reason I reach out to them. It’s easy to work with them because Jay manages the team in a way that’s preferable to us.
The team in general is very good at timelines and they’re able to almost always hit deadlines. They’re very communicative when we need to plan ahead or manage expectations. There’s never a point where I can’t get in touch with the team. We understand exactly where we’re at and follow up from there.
We generally use email and text, as we do with everyone else we work with. Primarily, we’re managing projects within Asana, and that’s been very successful. I never have any problem assigning tasks, providing documentation, or giving feedback to the team. The tasks are addressed within 24 hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their biggest differentiator is their initiative in terms of taking guidance and directions, and they have a solution-oriented mindset. NEUE WORLD puts together great solutions instead of simply reacting to feedback in an analog way. Instead of designing mockups and building off of them, they start and spend a lot of time up front planning a design system.
The way NEUE WORLD addresses a problem elevates our clients’ goals. They think about a problem for a couple of days, and we spend a bit more time up front before doing things. This tends to result in compelling solutions. That’s good because, in the world of technology, we’re only as good as the solution we design. That’s NEUE WORLD’s real value — we get much better end results than if we rush into the process.
This has opened up so much time for us to focus on other things and scale-up. The design team takes initiative, makes decisions on their own, and crafts great solutions. We all do it in collaboration, but it’s a lot more work when we have to tell everything step by step. NEUE WORLD’s process has allowed us to close more deals, spend more time with our clients, and get projects done faster.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s none. I've seen NEUE WORLD improve over time in terms of becoming more communicative and testing out new solutions. They're constantly improving.
As they scale up, they're going to organically improve their culture. That's good for them because their team already has a strong culture around solution-oriented design. If Jay can scale that within the designers he brings on board, it will be a formula for success.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You can get the best bang for your buck if you can be patient and spend time upfront to see long-term results. Jay succeeds in being aware of timelines while spending more time thinking about the challenges. The more time you spend analyzing how other people are trying to solve a problem, the more you can craft a unique solution that builds an identity for your product and company.
We think about speed as the number one priority all the time, but you have to be thoughtful to craft a great product. Patience is part of the development process. If you let Jay’s team spend more time up front to think through solutions, I guarantee you’ll have an even better product. It does take a bit of time and iteration, but if you let Jay ask questions and poke and probe the problem, they’re going to come up with incredible solutions.

I’m the co-founder of Foglia D'Oro and we’re a flower wholesale company. We bring flowers from Holland auctions markets to any location in India.
What challenge were you trying to address with NEUE WORLD?
There were only a few e-commerce portals for this type of business, but most of them weren’t like ours who have around 15,000 varieties of flowers that people can order and book online. Because of that, we needed someone to build and develop a world-class platform with a user-friendly experience.

I’m the co-founder of The Absolute Journey. We cater to a niche segment of the market and we customize travel plans within India and around the globe.

We were looking for someone to build a modern and elegant website that can make a good first impression on our clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I wanted our clients to visualize their journey with us, so NEUE WORLD built and developed a website that showcases our products and exclusive destinations packages. They also helped us introduce a new vertical for India called Private Jet Holidays.
We already had a website, but we wanted to revamp it entirely so they did everything from scratch. They mainly used Webflow and provided us with different mood boards and design samples to choose from. Apart from that, they also did a little branding work, specifically focusing on logo design.
