I’m the owner of Lantern Stay Resort.

What challenge were you trying to address with NetVenture Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd.?

I wanted to promote my business online on Facebook, Instagram, and Google, so I hired NetVenture.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NetVenture is providing SEO and Google Ads services. They do keyword research and manage our Facebook and Instagram promotions. We also rely on their team for our graphic design needs, especially for our website, which we have them revamp once every three years. Basically, all my back-office jobs are done by NetVenture.

Besides the keyword list that I provide them, NetVenture also looks into what travelers are looking for. For social media content, I simply give them an idea of what I’m looking for along with reference pictures. They come back to me with 3–4 designs options, out of which I will select which one to post.

What is the team composition?

We currently work with an Instagram expert and an SEO expert. I’m an old customer of theirs, so their owner is known to me as well.

How did you come to work with NetVenture Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd.?

They were initially referred to me by a close friend when I was looking for web designers. Back then, NetVenture was only offering website development and maintenance, so I had them design my original website 12 years ago

At the time, SEO and online promotion weren’t that important, since business came through travel agents. When online promotion started becoming central to businesses, however, I held a discussion with their team. They showed me what position I would achieve once they were done, so I decided to engage them in this effort.

How much have you invested with them?

Our very first contract with NetVenture was for 8,000 Indian rupees (approximately $100 USD) per month. It has since increased to 25,000–30,000 Indian rupees (approximately $300–$400 USD) per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with NetVenture around March 2012, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Over the last two years, I’ve seen a very good increase in my rankings for the 20 keywords we’re targeting. Of those, 5–6 keywords are really important to me, and I’m ranking first on all of them. 

My site shows up at the top when googling “forest resort Wayanad”. There are around 1,000 resorts in this location, so coming up first in the search results is a big success. In the past, around 60% of our guests came through referrals. Now, 60–70% of people are coming directly as a result of Google searches.

How did NetVenture Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

We have an outstanding relationship with NetVenture. I’ve had opportunities to move to other agencies, but I never went anywhere. I’m very happy with this team.

I get calls from the team on a daily basis and we hold a video call once every 6–7 months to discuss important developments. We’re not using any project management tools, but we communicate through WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NetVenture’s reasonable pricing sets them apart from other providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could focus more on what the typical problems are for a resort, and how to market in this area. They do marketing for many different kinds of businesses, and I would suggest that they get someone who’s an expert in hospitality. This way, they can glean what needs to be done to promote my product without me having to tell them what to do.

There are different kinds of marketing, so it’s important to be clear about what your budget is. This way, NetVenture will be able to determine the best approach for your business.

• My position is that of a Business Development Manager and I handle Marketing as part of my role.

ISIT hired NetVenture to run Digital Marketing Campaigns for ISIT which includes Social Media Posts, Blog Entries, SEO, and Website monitoring and Optimization.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Vendor was selected based on their ability to deliver, customer references and costs.

The Netventure team sent us a questionnaire first then based on that they started working on the SEO of the website with monthly reporting.

I was working with one Delivery Manager who was the point of contact for all website needs. For SEO I was working with 1 Digital Marketing Manager and 1 Project Lead

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The deliverables were of high quality, delivered in a timely manner and the team was very approachable and worked in a collaborated manner. Social Media posts, Blog Articles increased our visibility in the market. SEO Optimization improved where we show up in search results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between the two parties was quite smooth. Monthly meetings were conducted with us. A status report was sent prior to the meeting with planned deliverables and achieved deliverables.

Feedback was obtained from us on further improvements as required. On-Going communication happened over emails & whatsapp. Phone calls when necessary.

They are very knowledgeable in the area of digital marketing and well versed with the tools required to improve results in a digital world.

We are satisfied with all the services delivered to date.

100% we depend on Netventure for all our digital marketing requirements. We are getting a lot of inquiries from the promotions and other services they provide.

We approached NetVenture Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for complete branding of our company including logo design, business cards, letterhead, envelope and to build a professional website as well.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We came to know about NetVenture Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd from a friend who previously worked with the company for website development. Impressed by the professionalism, he referred NetVenture to us.

For branding, the scope was to create a logo first. A questionnaire was sent to us, which we answered. Based on our answers, the NetVenture team had shown us a few drafts. We selected one from the draft and they worked on it to our satisfaction.

Once the logo was confirmed, branding collaterals such as business cards, letterhead, envelope etc were developed. They have also shared a brandbook at the end of the project. After branding, they moved on to developing our website.

A questionnaire was shared for website development as well. In which we stated our requirements in detail. Based on these requirements, they had shared the quote. The development was begun upon agreement of the cost. A design layout was sent to us initially for approval. We didn’t even have to make changes as we were pleased with the design.

The approved design was then developed into a website in the next few days. The developed website was then shared with us after QA and basic SEO for final approval. We approved and the website was launched by Jan 2022.

During the beginning, i.e, until the agreement and work confirmation we had worked with the Operations Manager from NetVenture. After work confirmation, a single point of contact was assigned to us, the Delivery Manager. Though they are a much bigger team, we mostly worked with the delivery manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Netventure was referred to us because of the professionalism they had shown in the past. We entrusted them with the branding and website development of our company and they delivered it to perfection with utmost professionalism. Be it communication, responsiveness, and post-launch support — they did a great job.

Communication was primarily through email and for quick questions and answers we used Whatsapp. A timeline/schedule was shared with us after confirming the design. Since there weren’t many changes after the development, we were able to launch the website a few weeks before the deadline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As mentioned above, professionalism, transparency, and commitment were the aspects we expected from our digital partner. And NetVenture delighted us. Also, the post-launch support they provide deserves appreciation, which we were skeptical about considering our experiences with other website design companies and freelancers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Though there is nothing that I can point out regarding their work, I feel they should market themselves a bit more so that companies like us can find them more easily.
