Selling apartments: how to set up advertising efficiently?
“Atlant” building company resorted to Netpeak to launch an advertising campaign.
We quickly launched an advertising campaign and quickly drove traffic.
But what’s next? “Atlant” set a goal to increase the number of leads. There were a lot of ways to contact the real estate developer via the site — but all of them ended up communicating with the manager.
Having analyzed the site and its usability, we made a sketch of the customer journey map.
So, we developed a residential compound promotion strategy based on the several types of campaigns with different goals:
1. Search advertising — to show an offer to the potential customers right when they’re googling something like “apartments in Kiev from a developer”.
2. Display advertising — to acquaint a potential customer with a brand and to vividly show the peculiarities of a definite residential compound.
3. Remarketing — properly set remarketing helps these advertising campaigns achieve a meaningful complex effect.
Results of the dynamic remarketing for apartment planning in 3D format:
Having analyzed the results of the previous advertising campaigns, we asked a client to replace 2D images in the feed with the 3D ones.
We realized that showing pics of the residential compound and black-and-white sketches didn’t work well.
The conversion rate of the remarketing campaigns increased by 5.4 times.
The conversion rate of search campaigns was 2.58%.

Brand Traffic increase by 268% in two years Kentavar.bg
Kentavar.bg is a popular Bulgarian website for car sales.
To increase its traffic we launched a long-term branding campaign, where we aimed not only at "easy" active customers that make 15% of the market but also at the rest of the audience.
A perfect tool for working with passive clients is GDN. This is the tool we paid attention to when we needed to expand advertising. Although initially display campaigns had to drive conversions to a site, we also kept in mind that GDN would allow us to affect the wider audience and to convert it in clients later.

Stimulating marketing demand for Steko's services
Steko is a large Ukrainian plant specializing in the production of metalloplastic windows, doors, aluminum constructions.
To engage the audience to a brand in a competitive sphere we used video advertising. Flexible targeting and high level of users’ involvement gives enormous potential for drawing attention to a brand.
Competitor analysis showed that at the start of our campaign, only large brands were using Internet-based video advertising. The closest online store competitors preferred promotion in search and by means of banners.
Our aim was to:
1) increase brand awareness;
2) to grow traffic to the site.
Among billions of YouTube users, we aimed advertising to prepossess brand target customers or address repeatedly those, who had already interacted with company's website. Geotargeting was set for cities which have the company’s representative body or business unit only.
After 2 months of the running campaign :
1. Online store managed to stand out for the competitors
2. From the first days of video advertising implementation, the website traffic considerably increased and interaction cost was lower than the one for banners.

OLX.ua — largest ad service, part of OLX Group, operates in more than 30 countries worldwide (300 mln MAU). OLX helps to find and rent an apartment, sell-buy any product, find employees, develop business. In Ukraine, every third smartphone has OLX app in it.

Citrus.ua cuts CPA by 48%
Citrus.ua is one of the top online retailers of gadgets and accessories in Ukraine, with categories ranging from electronics to sporting equipment.
Together with their digital marketing agency Netpeak, Citrus.ua set out to decrease the cost of conversion by optimizing search campaigns while getting more transactions on their website without increasing budgets.
Rundown Goals:
- Reduce cost per acquisition;
- Maintain conversion levels.
Rundown Approach:
- Adopted data-driven attribution in AdWords
- Implemented Smart Bidding;
- Used AdWords Drafts and Experiments to conduct testing.
Rundown Results:
- For test campaigns, overall cost decreased by 45%;

To take their efforts further however, Citrus.ua and Netpeak opted to experiment with automatic bidding strategies based on the new attribution model. To achieve cost per acquisition goals, they chose to trial the Smart Bidding strategy Target CPA (tCPA). Using Drafts and Experiments functionality in Google AdWords allowed them to test the statistical significance of the impact.

Contextual advertising for Victoria's Secret
Our client wanted to keep the existing number of transactions, reducing the advertising budget by 30%.
We properly configured the tracking of the channels which drive traffic to the site.
We worked on optimization of semantics’ selection, negative keywords, account and ad structure optimization, and examined the optimal placement strategies.
We launched a GDN campaign for young women interested in recreation, beauty and fashion and for wealthy men interested in gifts for women.
When we have achieved good results using Google AdWords, we applied our existing experience in Google AdWords for Yandex Direct campaigns, which eventually helped obtain great results.
Result:
After the first month of the campaign’s duration, AdWords spending decreased by 13.5% (from $2,448.5 to $2,117.5), and the website revenue soared 57.5% (from $21,495.87 to $35,510.75).

- set up the conversion's import from Google Analytics into Google Ads;
- sent the terms of reference marked «not set» for developers. Prior to this, we would lose the source due to incorrect work of UTM parameters;
- added audiences split into categories and remarketing audiences in survey mode which were not covered by our targeting. The former could be used within the framework of media campaigns, while the latter could be used for obtaining additional signals during the process of campaign optimization;
- collected the sufficient amount of data for optimization, launched the ICPA autostrategy;
- began improving the parameters of keywords;
- shortened the website usability form, which saw an increase in the number of the forms filled out.

When building a strategy, we decided to focus on website content development. In this case, most of the tasks go to the Ukrainian branch of the company, which means they are implemented promptly. The main purpose of the website promotion is to increase search visibility, especially for branded search queries, which compete with the popular Ukrainian ecommerce projects.

Like in any large corporate structure, all agencies go through a tendering process. The Netpeak team was well-prepared for the tender and reached the final stage, where they competed with another company and eventually won as the executive team proved to be stronger.

- Technical component. We started with a full technical audit:
- we replaced irrelevant links to an XML sitemap in the robots.txt. Previously, the robot, which read the sitemap URL from robots.txt file, just found broken links;
- the product listing pages contained links with different URL parameters. The technical team replaced the links with the correct ones, which were not prevented from being indexed;
- we removed all the broken links which led to the deleted (within the project lifetime) pages;
- we fixed meta tags: made duplicates unique, added new meta tags;
- we removed duplicate pages made by the site engine.
- Content component. With the help of monthly query frequency data and Google Ads Keyword Planner, we detected the seasonality and created a calendar of category development. We researched keywords for each category and subcategory pages and planned the optimization of meta tags and page content in Russian and Ukrainian.
- Link building strategy. We've made a competitor link analysis, and after bringing together the basic analytics data of the link profile, we determined the link promotion strategy: link volume and type, anchor type."

Technical optimization of the website:
- 301 redirect setup — from "HTTP" to safe "HTTPS"
- the robots.txt file creating to prevent pages that users find unnecessary/uninteresting/not useful from being indexed
- creating correct HTTP headers to improve the website speed for returning users
- finding canonical URLs so that search engine robots index the pages that are beneficial to the client business

We also prepared a block of recommendations on adding markup to the website: breadcrumbs, company contacts, social media profiles, and the company logo.

As part of the new content creating stage, we did keyword and related keyword phrases research using the Serpstat technologies. After the keyword research, we clustered them and generated a list of topics for the content plan and theses.

Since March 2019, Apple Search Ads has been active in 46 countries, including Eastern Europe. This advertising tool allows advertizers to promote the apps on the App Store. With Apple Search Ads, we wanted to get cheap app installs and attract iPhone users who would find our app useful.
The PPC specialists are always on the lookout for new growth opportunities to improve the project performance. After Apple expanded the geo-targeting reach of the advertising tool to Ukraine, we decided to launch the Apple Search Ads campaigns to attract more relevant users of iOS devices.

The OLX project (formerly Slando) is one of the first Netpeak clients. We have been cooperating since 2007.

Apple offers two different packages for its advertising toolkit: Basic and Advanced. We settled on the Advanced package because it provides the maximum possible leverage on campaigns: no monthly budget restrictions; the opportunity to use keywords for targetting not only through the automatic optimization of the system that finds relevant, in its opinion, audience (machine learning); more flexibility in bid adjustments; access to detailed reports.
We have rearranged advertising campaigns according to the main trends to get more traffic. We did the keyword research based on the App Store search aspects. Unlike the classic Google search, in the mobile app store, the user either already knows the name of the app they need or uses simple non-branded search queries. Our project has both an app and a website, so the keywords for the app had to be different from the semantic core for website promotion.
Besides, we set the keywords that our competitors use in ASO (text elements on the app page). We also set up campaign settings relevant to our tasks: set a test initial campaign budget; limited the maximum CPT (Cost Per Tap) to the optimal one based on the experience of other projects; targeted the relevant audience (by device, region, demographics, and user types): all users, new, returning, or users of your other apps.

Right after the ad campaigns start, the KPIs have significantly improved - the cost per install with the first opening of the app was 39% less than for Google Ads. After that, we carried out an initial optimization of campaigns for further scaling. A few weeks later, we managed to increase the number of installs per day by an average of 119%, with an increase in CPI by 13%.
In just two months with ASA, we could get installs 35% cheaper than the average CPI of paid traffic sources on this platform. Advertising in Apple Search Ads increased the number of iOS installs from paid traffic sources by 80%, while CPI decreased by 11%. Compared to Google Ads (UAC), the ASA CPI proved to be 42% cheaper. Thus, we could attract more users of iOS devices and reduce the average cost per install.
