Please describe your company and your position there.
I am co-founder and CEO of Planera. I also head up Design and Product Mgmt teams
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
We had a good idea and vision for the product we wanted to build. But we had no designers on the team. We engaged with NetBramha in the very early days of the company to bring our vision to life with UX and UI design.
How did you select this vendor?
I had seen NetBramha's work via another company that has used them. I asked for an introduction to NetBramha when I started looking for a design studio.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The team conducted lots of interviews with me and my team to understand the industry, the problem we are trying to solve, our user persona, completing solutions, etc. They then built a number of wireframes and design directions. We tested ideas together and narrowed down the design direction. Team then started working on UX flows and UI design. Interactive prototypes were built along the way to test and get feedback. Team also gets involved in creating Sprint plans and interacts with developers and provides feedback as required.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2 full-time UX designers and 1 part-time UI designer as needed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are very pleased with the work so far. We intend to continue using NetBramha as the company grows and our needs increase. We are in closed Beta and user feedback about the product and design has been fantastic
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We interact very frequently using zoom and figma as that is our preference. The team feels like they are part of my extended team and not a vendor. I am sure they can work a bit more independently if required but that's not my preference.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They really understand the entire design methodology and process... not just eager to put pixels on the screen. They understand the user's needs, research options out in the market, present different approaches, etc. I like how the designers feel passionately about my product and company. They're not just trying to punch the clock.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing. If I have any recommendation for improvements, I discuss with them and they implement it right away.

We have a cloud-based low-code offering and I'm the CTO of the company
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios, and what were your goals?
NetBrahma was contracted to build the user onboarding and dashboard screens for our data.stack product. From these screens, the user should be able to
- Signup
- Login
- Create apps
- Manage billing and view invoices
- Configure security and notification settings
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We spoke to 3 vendors, including NetBrahma. We reviewed their proposal, prior work, and cost. The deciding factors were:
- Design - the feel of the UI, color schemes used, etc should match with our taste and our vision of a minimalist and functional UI
- Cost - we are a startup and at this point in our journey, we are sensitive to price.
NetBrahma aligned well with these. We liked their designs and moreover, they were willing to work within our price constraints. Needless to say, after this work was done, we now have multiple engagements with NetBrahma
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The user onboarding, app management, and billing work involved:
- Design the user experience and visual designs
- Develop the screens using Angular.
API development was not part of the scope and that was developed and integrated by my team.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
- Project manager
- Lead UX designer
- UX designer
- Visual designer
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The entire journey with NetBrahma during the 4-5 week engagement we did was a really smooth one. Their team did top-notch work with the design and development.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
- Project kick-off call
- A couple of calls for requirements gathering
- Daily progress updates via mail
- Weekly calls to access progress
- Collaboration via Figma
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
- Design - Matches well with our idea of a minimalist, functional and usable design.
- Delivery - I never had to ask them for an update. Every day, I got a progress update and during the weekly calls, I could see huge progress being made
- Communication - Clean, clear, and crisp.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None

Goodclap is a Social Good Platform which connects like minded people, to create an impact by working on social causes. I'm the Champion of Digital Initiatives (Design, Tech and Social Media handling)
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
Goodclap is currently a crowdfunding platform and we have approached NetBrahma with an idea to expand the product and build a mobile app. We wanted help with structuring our various ideas and designing the UI to build a very simple & user-friendly app.
How did you select this vendor?
We have shortlisted a couple of vendors including NetBrahma. From our very first conversation with the Founder, Aashish, we were comfortable with their approach & responsiveness and we decided to partner with them.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Once the initial formalities were done, we were introduced to their design team. The team understood all our requirements & thoughts and documented them in a structured manner (this was the Discovery Phase). With the information they have gathered, the design team have created the navigation and Information Architecture. With these two things in place, they have started working on the wireframes and the UI designs. All the designs have come to us only after they have undergone the internal reviews. No major delays in the deliverables.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The founder and a senior from the design team were reviewing the overall design and project. A project manager was coordinating and ensuring that there were no major setbacks. And, a team of 2-3 designers who have directly worked on the designs.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
It has been a beautiful experience & extremely professional. We are happy that our product's UI has come up well; it gave us the positivity to proceed with the development and pursue the next steps. We enjoyed the entire approach followed, to build the workflows, it was new to us, but felt very meaningful, thought triggering. Appreciate it!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Project Manager always has been the anchor ensuring & tracking the progress, and being a support whenever we had any sort of small apprehensions. That way it was very much comfortable working with their team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to understand the business model and coming up with an excellent framework and architecture is impressive. They are great with their UI skills which brought in a very new and unique look to the project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not really. We enjoyed their working style and other processes.

UI/UX Product Design for Financial Literacy Education Co
“They brought me something completely new and fresh that is unlike anything else on the market.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the sole founder of a company that teaches financial literacy to kids.
What challenge were you trying to address with NetBramha Studios?
I went to them for UI/UX design. I needed someone that could challenge the ideas I had as a founder.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had a discovery phase, during which NetBramha’s founder and a couple of senior designers broke down my idea into various minute steps and problems. We determined which ones would be part of the first MVP. That added value to the entire process, as my original idea had too many features. NetBramha helped me narrow down the first set of features to take to the market.
Then, we started the first step of UX design. We put together the customer journey and the UX flow of it. NetBramha created an architecture document that gave a high-level overview of my idea. They created UI/UX screens for all of the features we decided on, and we had multiple iterations on those.
They also helped me reach out to a few target groups and get feedback on the features we were building.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Aashish (Founder & Principal Designer), Suyash (UX Designer), and one other designer. They discussed the idea with their entire team of around 30 people, but I just had communication with those three people. I believe 6–7 others were directly involved in the project.
How did you come to work with NetBramha Studios?
I shortlisted two other competitors. I wanted a design house wherein I could approach the founder easily, and I wanted them to be involved in the project. The other design houses I approached didn’t offer this. They were pretty huge, with 1,000+ people, so reaching out to the founder would’ve been difficult.
Aashish was involved from day one, when I started inquiring about a project with NetBramha Studios.
How much have you invested with them?
The project cost was around $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with NetBramha around September 2019, and the project took 4–5 months to complete, ending in early-2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
NetBramha goes through an internal process before showing anything to the customer — they don’t just present everything they design. If I didn’t like anything after that process, they were open to reworking the UI design.
How did NetBramha Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
All communication went through Basecamp. Communication was transparent and clear.
What did you find most impressive about them?
On the second iteration, they brought me something completely new and fresh that is unlike anything else on the market.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I had a pretty good experience. I won’t be looking for any other agencies if I have additional design work to do.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
The most important thing when hiring a UI/UX agency is the involvement of the client company’s founder. I was involved in the entire journey. We can't rely on the agency completely because, at the end of the day, they’re creating something based on the client’s idea. Unless we communicate effectively, they won’t deliver 100%.

I am the founder and Director of HAPLO®. We focus on building SaaS offerings for Real Estate
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
We hired NetBrahma for UI/UX for our Mobile and Web Apps.
What were your goals for this project?
Intuitive, Simple Design and impactful workflows.
How did you select this vendor?
Even though NetBrahma has good competition around, their team is highly qualified and we needed very little hand-holding even during the initial phases of discussions. This gave confidence that they can deliver what we need.
Describe the project in detail.
We are a SaaS Platform for Managing Real Estate. We needed user mobile apps and administration Web apps for creating, managing and automating workflows for various Business Models.
What was the team composition?
We had a Sales Head, Project Manager and 3 Designers assigned to the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The IA was the stepping stone to success. The team spent quality time understanding the problem and how we wanted to deliver them to the end-user. We reviewed the designs with our clients and they were very impressed. Overall, it has been a very highly satisfied work from NetBrahma
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Absolutely fantastic. We have no complaints or concerns with regard to this.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their knowledge of UI/UX and professionalism were impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nothing that needs to be highlighted. They are open for feedback and as and when we needed a few things, they have been open to accept and work on them.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of SwitchMe, a B2C company. We’re India’s first online mortgage broker.
What challenge were you trying to address with NetBramha Studios?
We’d done an initial POC, and we’d received a good response from customers, but we found that the customer experience wasn’t up to mark. We realized that the standard for online B2C interactions was far ahead of what we were doing at that time, and we didn’t have any in-house design talent.
What was the scope of their involvement?
NetBramha Studios provided design services, which included the initial wireframes. We underwent a discussion around what our customers wanted, what our brand should stand for, and finally, what our design was about. That helped us think through some of our own marketing strategies. We received a deliverable in the form of HTML and CSS. They handed over a set of artifacts, including our logo.
What is the team composition?
There were at least three people from NetBramha Studios involved, including a project manager.
How did you come to work with NetBramha Studios?
We decided to cast a wide net and see what the best price was. We had phone discussions with seven or eight design agencies to see their budget. We eliminated a couple right away because the budget was ten times what we were looking for.
We shortlisted two or three and then found that NetBramha Studios understood our business the best. They did their homework, and they proposed a holistic solution. We chose NetBrahma Studios because we felt that we were aligned.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe we spent around $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with NetBramha Studios in June or July 2015. They finished in less than six weeks.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Overall, I was very satisfied. It’s been five years. NetBramha Studios helped with our bounce rate. Customers were more engaged with our site. I’d definitely hire them again if I were to do something similar.
How did NetBramha Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
Their professional team stuck to our deadlines. We were in Bombay, and they were in Bangalore. We coordinated through Basecamp and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their team put themselves in the mindset of in-house members, thinking about what our customers wanted. We had detailed discussions, looked over data, and made decisions. We appreciated their holistic approach, from their understanding of the business and their determination of the design.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not that I can think of. Through the engagement, we came out smarter about the entire thing. We ended up creating an in-house team. I don’t think we’d have done as well as we did if not for NetBramha Studios.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I was the founder of Zenify.in, a residential rental management company. We were the 2nd largest residential property management company in India and were acquired by Nestaway (the largest in India) in May 2017.
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
We hired NetBramha to completely revamp our websites UI / UX from scratch.
What were your goals for this project?
We were having many offerings introduced to our customers for the first time in the industry and wanted to have a better communication and experience. So, we hired NetBramha to completely revamp our website.
How did you select this vendor?
We shortlisted 5 vendors basis a few criteria:
- Should be present in Bangalore
- Should have done work for some other company in my personal network,
- should be open to working with a startup,
- should be a boutique firm and not a very bug team, etc.
Post shortlisting, we had 2-3 meetings with each design team, understood in detail about the work they have done and industries for which they have worked. Post which we shortlisted NetBramha
Describe the project in detail.
It was a complete revamp of the website which included:
- Landing pages for property owners and tenants
- property search page
- map based search
- individual property page
- client logins etc,
They worked on complete project starting from understanding various user personas, defining their flow, etc..
What was the team composition?
Project Manager, Designer, Front End Developer, Business Analyst... Even the founder was involved in our project and was frequently available for meetings, etc.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Don't exactly remember now... but SEO and the organic lead generation got a major boost. Bounce rate was quite reduced and user engagement was quite enhanced. As far as I recall, the outcome was better than what we expected at the beginning of the project.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
From our end, it was majorly directly from the 3 founders and from their end, a team of 2-3 people....
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their whole design approach. The way they started discussions from scratch, created storyboards, refined them and went onto messaging, content and wireframes... They had a very structured approach, and we were very impressed.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that I can think of. In my view UI / UX team should be small so that they can focus and work with a few clients, but create a larger impact for whatever they work on...

We are a premier training institute in India, We have also been awarded Gold award for ‘Best Higher Vocational Institute for Skill Development’ – four years in a row (2016 – 2019). I am AGM Marketing over here.
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
Our online presence and website were out of trend which in turn negatively impacted lead generation and organic footprint/hits on the website. We wanted to upscale these and hence partnered with NetBramha Studios for their UX/UI expertise.
The objectives of this engagement were to have a premium web experience, an increase in lead generation through our website and a decrease in bounce rates.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to bring a seamless experience for variant personas to be able to find and sign-up online with easy navigation and an experience paralleled to our offline tutoring experience. Our goal was also to generate a higher number of leads and signups through our website.
How did you select this vendor?
We manually got in touch with 2 to 3 vendors for competitive quotes and most importantly a strong portfolio. We decided on NetBramha Studios from some of the past award-winning web experiences they had designed for their clients which interested us to explore a design partnership with them. Senior stakeholders and I were involved in the selection process.
Describe the project in detail.
They started off with stakeholder discovery and design thinking workshops to identify users & ethnography and the journey of these users go through to learn about the brand, courses offered and finally sign-up/contact.
They then worked on the information architecture that covered all use cases and user journeys for variant user personas.
Strategic and insightful design thinking then led to UX/UI and WordPress development. We availed Design Strategy, Experience Design and Development services from Netbramha.

UX/UI Designers, Project Manager, Design Director, Content Strategist and Frontend Developers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
1. Increase in website traffic and conversion

3. Improved SEO and online presence
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They kept up to the timelines that were agreed and delivered on time. They are a proactive team and was ahead of the plan and had a strong communication during the entire course of the project.
The communication and project management was done through multiple tools they use at the studio. While they did challenge our feedback with valid logical reasoning, they handled it very well and accommodating more than we could ask for.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We liked their reasoning, design thinking, and innovative ideas, dedication to guiding us in the right direction and thought flow. The availability of the design director for any design or managerial related concerns was something that surprised and amused us. The client relationship experience is something that sets them apart.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Nearex is a Small Payments Solutions Provider with cashless payment technology for the emerging markets focussed on digitizing small payments for everyday transactions. I am a Product Manager at Nearex and a key stakeholder/decision maker for all activities relating to the scope of work for this project with NetBramha.
For what projects/services did your company hire NetBramha Studios?
We had worked in the past with another design firm for our website but weren't very happy with the results.
We wanted to improve our website, in terms of design, performance and SEO and were convinced to partner with NetBramha from some of the key outcomes of their past work. We needed their UX/UI expertise along with development capabilities to rehaul our existing website to achieve our goals.
What were your goals for this project?
"We wanted to 1. Decrease the bounce rates by at least 30% 2. Increase inbound traffic and online visibility by 40-50% 3. Increase lead generation through the website 4. Improve SEO"
How did you select this vendor?
We approached key players in India for design and shortlisted 3 firms. NetBramha stood out in terms of their strong portfolio and the initial professional interactions. We were convinced with the design ideas they presented during the initial meetings, the approach, cost and timelines which were the deciding factors for us to choose Netbramha over others. One of the Co-Founders and Product Manager were key decision makers to select the vendor.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Nearex has clients across Asian and African countries, so we started off with stakeholder interviews and design thinking workshops to identify users & ethnography and the journey of these users to learn about Nearex.
We then collaboratively worked on the information architecture that covered all use cases and user journeys. Followed this were the wireframes, visual designs and WordPress development.
We availed Design Strategy, Experience Design and Development services from Netbramha. I was the SPOC and the approving authority for all deliverables.
What was the team composition?
Design Director, Project Manager, UX Designers and Frontend Developers. We were happy with the team and did not need any change in terms of the team size or the team itself, during the course of the project.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
"There was 1. Significant increase in online visibility 2. Higher lead generation & reach out and 3. Markable decrease in bounce rates with the new website experience in place which were the goals of this engagement."
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
There were challenges and roadblocks during the project but collaboratively was manuevered and handled professionally.
They adhered to the timelines that was agreed and delivered on time. The communication and project management was done through multiple tools they use at the studio. We are impressed with the way they handled feedback and changes.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their design knowledge, understanding of user needs, timeliness, and out of the box thinking distinguished them from other vendors we have worked with in the past. Their client relationship management and coordination are what impressed us the most.
Are there any areas for improvement?
None that we can think of.
NetBramha Studios’ work has been met with positive acclaim. They had an impressive understanding of the project's needs. Customers can expect a knowledgeable team that provides high-quality design and development work.
