I am the head of engineering of this startup company. 3appy allows a web-based collaboration within a school or within a workgroup of several schools. 3appy is a social network.

We are based in the north of Germany. We have not head enough development resources to we get in contact with the CEO of My Apps Development. We would like to get on market fast with an improved version of the web based development and further an app for our solution.

We have to fresh up the layout and start with an app development for android and ios with the same background, sharing the same database. The backend was a mysql database inside a PHP layer.

That was one of the biggest strength of My Apps Development. We could scale our project and added further resources in the end of the phase where the time was very critical.

The result was completely satisfying. We come with our product in the agreed timeline onto the market.

We used a hybrid style. While we have done the customer requirement specification and product requirement specification in the waterfall model, we used inside the development phase an agile approach. with daily stand-up meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive things is that an agreed timeline in the most important agreement including all the agreed features. In the end of the project, when we need to change a specification and we need to align with the timeline, we have worked on Saturday and Sunday for several weeks to hold the timeline. Very impressive !!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at all, we as a German company and with experiences for more than 20 years inside software development and project management have learned several things from our Indian partner inside My Apps Development.

After we finalized them for the project, we had a series of meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Within a couple of days, their team was ready with the first draft of App designs. At every stage, we were asked for feedback. Our inputs were given a lot of importance. It was a nice experience to work with My Apps' team, who are quick on their feet and have tons of fresh ideas.

Within a few days of the app launch, we have seen an impressive amount of downloads and have received positive feedback from the users.

The only way for them to improve would be to expand their wonderful services. Sourcing the right talent is key for IT organizations, and, so far, they’ve recruited only the best.
