We build and scale digital products & ventures.
We strive to empower digitization through smart services, talent and technology and to become Europe’s most respected digital product & venture builder. 🏗️ 👷🏽♀️
As a digital product & venture builder we do exactly that: we ideate, build and scale products and ventures. 🚀👩🏻💻
Our clients range from startups and scale-ups to global Corporates.
Over the years, we have synthesized our learnings into our unique process of how we build great products and ventures – from Exploration until Scaling.
We help organizations execute their digital transformation at start-up speed by combining our expertise from entrepreneurship, product design, consulting and engineering with lean and agile processes and high-performing, scalable delivery teams.
We partner with our clients to identify high value digital opportunities and execute them whilst enabling and transferring knowledge to their existing teams. We cover the whole product lifecycle from ideation to development and scaling.
We have helped over 90+ clients to design and build digital products and ventures - ranging from FinTech, Insurance, Retail, Logistics, Real Estate to Public Sector - and helped to scale their digital innovation initiatives.
We help start-ups and scale-ups validate, build, launch and scale their first MVP and even beyond, following lean and agile methodologies.
Depending on how far along you are with your idea, we either validate it through user research, landing page tests and during technical scoping consult you on the various tech stack options and develop a tangible product roadmap together with you.
If you have done all of that and are looking for someone who "just builds it", then we are more than happy to do so – if needed starting with Brand Design, Product Design or going right to actual development.
We create value through products not slides, are acting as builders not consultants and leverage the future of work.

DRK "Elterncampus"
The DRK Elterncampus has brought together young families affected by the pandemic situation allowing them to continue to perform their courses virtually in times of social distancing.
Together with the DRK we were able to develop a user-centric platform that provides a basis for offering a uniform course booking system even after the pandemic.
In addition, the project has also shown DRK how easy it can be to jump in the digital transformation train if you just have the right partner to do it with!

BW-ETOKEN-APP
How we supported the German armed forces to increase their mobility with an app.
BWI GmbH is one of the leading IT service companies in Germany and a digitization partner of the German armed forces. They work closely with the Bundeswehr's Cyber Innovation Hub (CIH) to accelerate innovations and develop digital products for the Bundeswehr. Due to MVPF's rich experience and competence in working with agile methods, they decided to contact us to support them in developing their digital initiative, which required fast and efficient implementation.

Signal Iduna - transformation in insurance
It took us just 4 weeks to build a cross-functional team and launch the first digital campaigns.
Right away, leads started coming which created enormous motivation and energy for the teams by showing how quickly impact can be generated when working in modern, agile and digital setups and how effective performance marketing can be leveraged.
All of this was enabled by building a flexible marketing tech stack and coaching, which allowed the “Journey Team” to work independently on certain pages, improving them with regular new insights thanks to tracking and feedback loops.
By continuously upskilling Signal Iduna’s team we were able to considerably reduce the need for our specialists, giving them full operational ownership and successfully established the first "Targetgroup journey team" at Signal Iduna, creating a lighthouse project that now serves as a blueprint for the organization. Today, the cost, reach and business volume generated for Signal Iduna through this project positively exceeded all KPIs and projections. Meanwhile, MVPF is recognized for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial approach and delivering beyond the originally mandated scope of the project.

Voya - Bringing AI to business travel
We brought a user-validated MVP to the market in just 14 weeks, which could automatically onboard users using Voya’s all-new AI technology.
The elastic staffing model - bringing in talent only when necessary - helped to keep to a very strict budget, ensuring every euro spent was going towards creating client value. Our user-centric approach also helped Voya to successfully close angel and VC-investor funding rounds from top players like Global Founders Capital, Motu Ventures & Rockaway Capital. The result of Voya’s collaboration with MVP Factory served as the backbone to Voya’s success as a company and as an app.
Today, Voya’s app has been downloaded over a million times, transforming the early-stage startup into a company with more than 30 employees and enough funding to continue growing. Voya caused such a stir that it was recently acquired by VW Financial Services, adding more proof to its business success.

Minly - a shout-out video App for the Middle-East
We planned and built a full product portfolio of user-, celebrity- and admin applications in just three months.
The MVP we built allowed Minly to launch and test the idea and business model of a shout-out application in the Egypt market. We collaborated very closely with the local tech team so that the handover of the project was seamless. Today, the app has been downloaded more than 50,000 times and the team iterated on the features, the experience of the application, and onboarded several top local celebrities to the platform.
Recently, Minly closed a $3.6 million seed round and continues to win local top celebrities for the platform, mainly footballers, actors and singers. Further, Minly is exploring new features like personal audio messages.

Henkel Qhesive Solutions
By employing a data-based, rapid branding process, MVPF created, tested and rolled out Henkel Qhesive Solutions within 6 months.
Challenged by the constraints of the pandemic, MVPF was able to create a global B2B brand in cooperation with Henkel in record time. This was made possible by our core belief in the liquid workforce approach. Delivering the highest standard of work with various global stakeholders and partners remotely. By employing a data-driven & iterative branding process, we ideated, validated and created the Henkel Qhesive Solutions Brand in 6 months.
Creating this brand had two distinct functions: It gave Henkel the organizational umbrella to unite their multiple innovation streams & products into one global team. Launching Henkel Qhesive Solutions internally empowered employees to transform their disparate business processes into a cohesive narrative, leveraging business tools that were developed for Henkel Qhesive Solutions to get the job done.
Externally, the brand communicated this transformation to clients. Customers understood the move from products to solutions, as Henkel’s ambitions with this project were to leverage their competitive advantage of offering customer-centric solutions rather than off-the-shelf products. This message demonstrably resonates with customers as the brand has seen a 20000% increase in organic Google Search Traffic since it’s launched in the first half of 2021. This is partly due to the innovative brand name which opens up a new category without any “search competitors“. Moreover, the Henkel Qhesive Solutions products are expected to generate over €100M in yearly turnover within the next 5-10 years.

We wanted to increase our development team to develop our iOS and Android apps.

We invested $50,000.

We started working together in Summer 2006 and finished in October 2016.

They helped us build an app for one of the biggest commercial jet companies in Europe, which was downloaded over a million times. Their technical foundation and expertise were critical for this achievement. Even though we are a big company with over 50 employees, their advice was still useful.

Are there any areas they could improve?
In the beginning, it wasn't clear who was going to be part of our team. They should present the team as part of their pitch.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the co-founder of Redi. As a click-and-collect marketplace, we enable people in central London to pre-order meals at about 200 restaurants. Our product lets users select a restaurant for any meal, schedule pickup times for later or right away, and provides a real-time estimate of when it’s ready to collect. When the customer picks up their takeaway, they don't have to stand in line.
What challenge were you trying to address with MVP Factory?
At the time, we didn’t have in-house staff with s real technical or development background. We teamed up with MVP Factory for development to create an MVP and launch it to the market.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked with MVP Factory on two native mobile apps on the Android and iOS platforms. Both versions are connected to a tablet and the backend we built in-house. Users can also collect loyalty points through our in-app program. The restaurant indicates a time for pickup, or the backend accepts orders scheduled for a specific time.
We provided materials to show them how we wanted the design to look and crafted wireframes together. During this collaborative process, they came into our UK-based office once a month for 2-3 days. We found this especially helpful in the beginning. After that, everything was done remotely. The project scope focused entirely on launching the product. We handled the marketing internally.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Victor (cofounder, MVP Factory). I spoke to him directly the majority of the time. Over time, they've scaled up in size and are now a big company. When we started working together, the team was much smaller so I could speak to the CEO as needed. Our product manager had a technical background as well as design experience.
How did you come to work with MVP Factory?
A friend referred us to MVP Factory. We chose them because on their proximate location in Berlin. When we launched our company, we were based in the U.K.
They also offered the best value and pricing structure compared to other solutions. Based on their quick responses to my emails and phone calls, they seemed capable of rapid execution.
How much have you invested with them?
In total, we've spent about $20,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with MVP Factory in July 2016 and launched the app within 90 days. It was both a fast and effective process. We wrapped up development at the beginning of October 2016.
We're still in contact with them, although not to the same degree. If I need additional resources here and there, they're available to support us. We're now working with a different service provider they referred us to for ongoing maintenance.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our iOS app, which is the first version we built and launched, is now available on the iTunes store. It has a 4.7-star rating and over 500 user reviews, which is comparable to our most significant competitor apps. Our customer satisfaction rate is roughly 95%, which is also great.
Currently, we have over 20,000 people using our product. Half have actively used the app in the past, and there are about 4,000 monthly active users. Thanks to their work, our project is progressing flawlessly. MVP Factory was definitely an excellent source of help as we launched our business.
How did MVP Factory perform from a project management standpoint?
Our project manager worked hands-on with us to complete each task. He managed his own developers and also worked closely together with our in-house team. Their mode of communication has been rapid, professional, and effective.
We've never had to wait more than two hours to hear back from them with a viable solution. Their methodology is highly professional, and they've been a reliable source of support. I really had nothing to complain about them because the entire process was very smooth.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Unlike comparable vendors, MVP has proven to me that they truly understood how to prioritize our work as an early-stage business. They offer us a pricing structure based on how quickly they delivered the product, which was exactly what we needed.
Time to market was crucial for our business model, and they were the right choice from the competitors we'd considered. Being able to agree on a flexible payment schedule based on timely project completion showed our interests were truly aligned. From my perspective as a business owner, that was the most important part.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The project was very successful. Maybe in hindsight, I would have probably liked to get a bit more work done. MVP seemed very busy afterward, but I understand that had to complete other work. In light of our overall success, this is a minor point. We’re still in contact, so I know the team has several substantial ongoing projects at the moment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It's important to be aware of your project goals and always enter into an agreement that aligns your goals with those of your outside service provider like MVP Factory. The rest of the work will follow when that’s in place. When you work with a diligent team like MVP Factory, nothing should stand in your way.
The app MVP Factory developed has over a million downloads. Their team conducted in-person meetings to ensure a smooth engagement. Open to feedback, they created viable solutions and delivered high-quality code.
