Digital Marketing for Luxury Fashion Retail Company
"They’ve worked with us and quadrupled our business. Now, the future looks insanely bright."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CEO of Sebastian Cruz Couture.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We wanted to scale our digital marketing and ad spend.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MuteSix started handling Facebook, and then we gave them Google and email marketing. It’s been a collaborative effort; we’ve been with them since the beginning when they had few customers with a high average order value (AOV). We’ve gone on a lot of back and forth, and we’ve learned together.
I can’t say there’s been a specific campaign. We’ve always led with the creative foot, providing the data and what our customers want to see. We let MuteSix try new things, but it always comes back to leading with the looks because that’s what we sell.
Moreover, they’ve done extra work because they want their campaign to succeed. For example, they designed the website with a third party. They oversaw everything, and our point of contact just sent us mockups of certain things. At the time, we didn’t hire them for that, but they still did it.
What is the team composition?
We started with someone handling 100% of the account, and then we met Harrison (President of Paid Search), who took over our Google work. We met Jesse (VP of Client Success) when he first went on board with MuteSix, and he became the overall campaign manager. Now, we have 6–7 people assigned to our account.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
I found them through word of mouth. An e-commerce subscription box company told me that MuteSix managed all their ad spend, so I hired them. Also, I fact-checked them with Facebook; they were ranked as a top Facebook partner.
How much have you invested with them?
It’s definitely in the seven-figure range. Last month, we spent about $135,000 without their fees, and that was just one month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been with them since January 2018. We walked away for a year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday of 2019 because we were unhappy with our performance in December. We were stuck at a certain level and felt we needed a fresh set of eyes.
We worked with other companies for a year, and the pandemic hit in April 2020. Still, we stayed with the person we were working with throughout the year, but we realized we were lacking the power of a good team. We had such a nice relationship with MuteSix, and we felt they would’ve done a lot better during the pandemic because they would’ve been more conservative. At the time, the other vendor kept on spending, but we were grabbing a lot of low-hanging fruit that we could maybe close the following year. However, other things broke, and that’s when we reached out to MuteSix to come back. Now, our relationship is ongoing, and they manage everything.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With an AOV brand, the attribution window is 30–45 days, so we have to wait 60–90 days on the campaigns we start. In the past, we’ve made the mistake of not giving things enough time and looking at them wrong. Now, MuteSix looks at everything from a macro standpoint, and they pitch it like that to their current customers.
Also, almost all of their team members have full access to our Shopify store now. Before, I managed $300–$500 a day by myself, and it was a lot of work when you scale it. I started to delegate it, and with MuteSix, the best we’ve ever done in our app besides Black Friday or Cyber Monday has been three and a half times our spend. However, that translates into 8–10 times on the website.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
The most important thing for me is communication, and that’s why I went back to them. Our communication is on point, and their knowledge of what’s happening or coming out from Facebook is also great. Overall, I’d give them the highest remarks for their project management.
MuteSix operates mainly on Slack and email, and their response time is super quick. We’ve taken our conversations to WhatsApp, but I wouldn’t expect many companies to offer it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re the best partners. MuteSix gives excellent feedback, and they’ve worked with us and quadrupled our business. Now, the future looks insanely bright.
Also, I’m sure they reject many potential clients because they don’t want to ruin their reputation by saying yes to somebody and burning through their cash. Therefore, MuteSix can see if the product or service they’re taking on will work or not, and they’re great at that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’d love to see a division or internal group of people on top of all the latest hacks. I feel like there are always ways to work around obstacles. For example, when the iOS 14 or 15 came out, we couldn’t target based on income metrics anymore, and I’ve always felt that there’s a way to hedge whatever has been taken out.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re going to hire somebody to run your brand, you have to give them as much information as possible and really know your customer. You can’t expect MuteSix or any other agency to know your customer better than you.
Also, I don’t delegate anything unless I already know how to do it. Then, I look for someone who knows way more about it than me. Try to almost master what you do and then delegate it — that way, you can focus on something else but continue to be hands-on, especially at the beginning.
Overall, the most important thing is that MuteSix’s people are great, and the chemistry between us is fantastic. Once the team’s core values are there, you can figure out the rest.

Digital Marketing & SEO for Jewelry Company
“They’re great at developing responsible and profitable strategies for long-term growth.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the VP of marketing at Little Words Project, a jewelry company that makes beaded word bracelets.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
I wanted to hire a company that could help us craft a scalable long-term paid media strategy. I specifically needed a company that understood the importance of using different creative assets for various stages of the customer funnel.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MuteSix handles all of our paid media and our SEO efforts. They also handle email and social media marketing on Facebook and TikTok. MuteSix’s team provides us with guidance to best engage customers at each stage of the customer pipeline.
What is the team composition?
We regularly work with five teammates at MuteSix, including an account manager and email, social media, and SEO teammates.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
I received an email from a salesperson at MuteSix, and I took a call with them. After that call, they did an audit of our current paid media and presented it to our company — they explained what we could improve. We liked their presentation and decided to sign with them.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested around $200,000 with MuteSix.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with MuteSix in July 2021 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We track our ad spend ROI to measure the partnership's success. MuteSix's work is so good that we've confidently scaled up our ad spend amount — we now spend double or triple what we used to. Within the last month, we hit net revenue records. We’ve also seen an increase in our search rankings for the keywords MuteSix targets.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
MuteSix has excellent project management — I never have to follow up with them on deliverables. They always deliver on time and are extremely responsive. We have biweekly hour-long calls, and we also communicate daily via Slack, which works very well. The email creative is reviewed in Milanote.
I don’t have to micromanage them; I provide general details and MuteSix works independently to develop the final product. I have a very hands-off approach to our partnership because I don’t have to worry about them not delivering — they’re always 10 steps ahead.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MuteSix understands business strategy — they know how paid media influences our holistic business performance. They’re great at developing responsible and profitable strategies for long-term growth.
MuteSix is all about testing and learning — they scale up each project responsibly and don’t spend money unnecessarily. They feel more like a strategic arm of our business than a company that merely spends our ad money.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any constructive feedback for MuteSix — I have nothing but praise for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers need to ask questions, dig into data, and be thoughtful partners. MuteSix should be included in business planning and strategy meetings — they should be an extension of the customer’s team.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of e-commerce and digital marketing at an e-commerce company that focuses on selling essential products to consumers.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We needed their team to lead our paid advertising efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MuteSix helps us formulate advertising strategies and campaigns to execute across our digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Google. After launching a campaign, MuteSix monitors its progress and identifies areas for improvement. Additionally, we work with their team in scaling our business for paid advertising, allocating budgets for our growth marketing efforts, and determining necessary actions to take in order to meet our sales goals.
What is the team composition?
We work with a handful of resources from MuteSix, including Carolyn (Director), an account manager, and digital marketing strategists.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
I worked with MuteSix for a previous brand that I was part of. I decided to entrust our advertising needs to them again since I was no stranger to the quality of work they delivered.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent roughly $100,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen significant increases in our traffic and customer acquisition rates, which we mainly attribute to MuteSix’s efforts. They’ve helped us strategically adjust our ad spend in order to flesh out more high-yielding solutions that continue to amplify our revenue — we’ve welcomed the most number of new customers last month, and that’s all their team’s timeless skills in paid advertising.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate regularly through Slack and track deliverables via Google Sheets. MuteSix is a supportive partner that closely monitors our metrics to identify areas of opportunity. Additionally, they ensure the efficacy of our work cadence to help us meet our goals on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MuteSix knows how to flawlessly execute paid advertising campaigns, and they utilize the best practices to determine everything we need to grow our business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’ve been instances wherein the assigned resources have failed to meet our timeline expectations, but MuteSix has professionally received our feedback and addressed those issues.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure that your overall branding is in line with the goals you want to achieve.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing at Spot Insurance. We offer custom accident and injury insurance policies.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We were looking to grow our business, add more users, and generate more policies. Hence, we needed help with scaling our marketing spend on Google.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MuteSix first conducted an audit of our previous Google Search campaigns. They then improved them in terms of copy and creativity. Furthermore, they built out our list of search terms to help us optimize our campaigns. The team also identified negative keywords and anything that wasn’t working. Eventually, we expanded to YouTube as well, where they helped us set up ads.
They continue to manage our ad campaigns and regularly test different strategies. If something doesn’t work, they quickly turn it off for us. Meanwhile, they scale up the campaigns that do gain traction. We hope to create Google Display ads in the future.
What is the team composition?
We work with three teammates.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
I found them through a Google search. I was also researching other digital agencies, but some of my colleagues recommended MuteSix, so we decided to go with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $3,500 each month.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in February 2021 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MuteSix has really helped us scale and optimize our Google Search campaigns. The team is constantly modifying our efforts to ensure that we’re achieving our goals. They’ve definitely boosted our reach and click-through rate, consequently increasing our user base and the number of policies we’ve sold.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a great relationship with them — we chat with them over Slack almost daily, and they’re very responsive. The MuteSix team is constantly presenting results from current efforts and new campaign ideas. They stay on top of our campaigns to ensure that we’re not wasting any of our advertising spend.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MuteSix’s overall strategy and approach to managing our campaigns are highly impressive. As we look into spending more money on ads, we’re relying on them to help us scale our efforts.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we’re happy with their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Stay in close contact with them as much as possible and work closely with them to identify what’s working and what’s not. Additionally, don’t be afraid to challenge the MuteSix team and ask them for context on their work. That will help you identify the strategy behind their actions.

Marketing & Advertising for Digital Marketing Company
"They’re very kind and the exceptional treatment they provide us makes us feel very good."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of GR0.com, and we’re an SEO agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We were trying to acquire customers online and we came to MuteSix because we didn’t have any expertise and focus on any social platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MuteSix provides us with digital marketing and advertising. They did the research and discovery initially, and I provided them with verbal guidance as to what I thought would make sense. Since they run a digital agency as well, they understand who our customers are, because there’s a lot of customer profile overlap between our companies.
They basically provide us with creative work to do our ads, and teach us what it means to have an exciting and creative way of engaging with our customers online. Apart from that, they also do PPC advertising and help us out with keywords.
What is the team composition?
We have an account manager who manages the Facebook, Instagram, and Google ads, a person underneath them to help create the ads, and in both cases, we spoke and interfaced with their manager — so we have about three people working per team.
I’ve also met with about eight people from their company, as well as the leadership team that included Sarah (Sales, Marketing, & Partnerships Operations Manager), Greg (CRO), Steve (CEO & Founder), and Daniel (COO & Co-Founder).
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
They had a good reputation online, so I googled ad agencies in LA, and saw them come up. I also called a few friends to ask them who would they hire to do the same type of work, and they all said they would hire MuteSix. Once my friends had that viewpoint, I felt like it was important to just trust that and go with it.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent probably close to $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The partnership started in July 2020, and we’re still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve probably gotten 20 clients through their work, so we more than made up the investment.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform very well. We use a project management software called Asana, and that keeps everyone organized and working well together — everything is always on time as I expect them to be. We use Slack and Google Hangouts to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re impressed with how they treat us like we’ve been a customer for many years. They’re very kind and the exceptional treatment they provide us makes us feel very good.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There were a couple of times when I had to call in about an ad that was no longer working, so they could’ve been a bit faster in fixing that. However, it wasn’t anything too serious, because they’re always fast in reacting to anything that I need.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say to overcommunicate and be direct about what you want and need in the engagement. Be upfront about what success looks like to you, because it’s different for every company.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of growth and media at Bite Toothpaste Bits, an eco-friendly and sustainable personal care brand.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We needed help with digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We work with MuteSix on paid search and social. They work on ads for several platforms: Facebook, TikTok, Google, and YouTube. Since we don’t have any in-house experts, the team leads the whole process and conducts keyword research independently. Furthermore, they give us additional insight to help us with our marketing strategies.
What is the team composition?
We work with a client services director, a paid search expert, and a social media director, who also acts as our account manager.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
We found them through professional connections. They emphasized performance, making them the right fit.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $150,000–$200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project started in October 2020 and is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since we started working with MuteSix, we’ve seen a significant increase in new customers.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s been a pretty seamless experience. The team is very organized and caters to our needs as best they could. Furthermore, MuteSix feels like part of our team because it’s so easy to reach out to them. They’re also super quick to respond whether we reach out via Slack, emails, or phone calls. Overall, they’re a fantastic team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MuteSix wants to be part of our team — they’re genuinely interested in our brand and personally invested in our success.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could be more assertive when it comes to asking us what they need to complete their work. We just want to make sure that we’re giving the team everything they need to succeed.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them ample guidance and trust in their expertise.

Marketing & Advertising for Medical Safety Products Company
"We feel very comfortable that we’re getting the best possible results."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
R1: We're a safety eyewear manufacturer, with our products mostly intended for use by medical professionals. I’m a co-founder and CEO and my partner here is the other co-founder and CCO.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
R1: We were trying to grow our direct-to-consumer business, which is basically our main business right now. MuteSix is helping us achieve this goal through Facebook and Instagram paid advertising, email marketing, and Google Ads.
R2: MuteSix also handles design and creative work. It’s an added bonus to what they already do for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
R1: We have an ongoing relationship with MuteSix. They started the engagement by developing a Facebook and Instagram advertising strategy for us. This included identifying who our customers are, determining how to effectively use Facebook's tools to reach them, and producing new creative assets to help communicate our message to the customer.
R2: They mainly focus on email marketing, social media marketing, and general digital marketing. They use our brand assets to market through our social channels. After kicking off on Facebook and Instagram platforms, they eventually started a Google channel for us. We’re starting to work with their Amazon team as well.
R1: In addition to creating content for us, they've updated our pre-existing brand assets and content. Their team has even added motion text to make the content more suited for advertising.
What is the team composition?
R1: We have different contacts for each team. For Facebook and Instagram, we work with Sam (Paid Media Coordinator). With Google, our main point of contact is Justin (Paid Social Campaign Manager). For email marketing, it’s Nicole (Senior Production Manager).
R2. We also have one main point of contact, Brittany (Client Success Director), who is our overall campaign manager. She ensures that all ideas are first introduced to us and manages them from an administrative point. The others are the people that we actually interface with from each division to implement everything. They’re all managers, but their teams sort of change and we don’t have any control over who comes on board or leaves. If we have a particular need, they just take care of it.
How much have you invested with them?
R1: We spend about $50,000 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
R2: We've worked together since February 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
R1: We’ve seen a 400%–500% return on our investment. Having MuteSix onboard has expanded both the channels that we’re marketing in and our customer base as a whole.
R2: They really helped us by getting us into channels that we weren’t using before. We also have access to their teams, who are the experts at running these channels. Overall, they’ve been instrumental in our brand exposure growth.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
R1: They’ve been strong in this regard and are always very communicative. They’ve been very responsive throughout the engagement and make adjustments to help us find new audiences and scale. They feel like an extension of our team. We’re very satisfied and plan to continue using them.
R2: All our communication goes through Slack. We monitor all the conversations that each of us is having with them. We also share assets through Google Drive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
R1: We like how integrated their team is as well as their talent with design and content creation. They're really on top of the latest digital marketing trends. We feel very comfortable that we’re getting the best possible results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
R1: There’s nothing special we’d point out.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
R1: You need to have a clearly defined strategy that MuteSix can help you amplify.
R2: One thing we’re doing right now to leverage more of their tools is to just have better content. So anybody looking to work with MuteSix should definitely have a good product, good content, and a great in-house team to create those things. Otherwise, it might be too expensive to get MuteSix to do everything.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
My organization is MitoQ and we’re a proprietary ingredient supplement company. My role is head of customer acquisition and I’m responsible for bringing new customers to the brand.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We wanted to bring in and attract people to our product through social media marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We brought MuteSix on to provide us with Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Instagram advertising. They started out just doing ad management, but have gone on to do some creative ads for us since then.
What is the team composition?
We primarily work with a Facebook campaign manager, programmatic campaign manager, a creative strategist, and an account lead and manager on the Amazon side.
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
We did a selection process with a couple of creative agencies, but I believe they may have found us through one of their LinkedIn programs. We had some criteria around the clients that we’ve worked with and the results we’ve achieved, and MuteSix checked all the boxes there.
How much have you invested with them?
Overall, we’re probably approaching $500,000 over the course of our engagement.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in June 2019, and the partnership is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MuteSix has been very much the driving force of our growth — and we’re growing fast. Our YOY growth to May is about 67%, so we’re at a 21% increase each year in our target market.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re on track with them. They do a quarterly business review, which is an effective way of understanding what has worked for us so far. We also use Google Workspace when we need to share files.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re impressed with how hungry they are. We’re growing fast and they want to be more involved in our success by constantly trying to find ways to help us keep it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This isn’t so much of a criticism because they already do this, and that’s finding new opportunities to grow.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Ethos. We’re a human performance company that specializes in health and wellness supplements.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mutesix?
We needed their help in growing our revenue and online presence through marketing strategies, including advertising and social media marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We wanted Mutesix to give us a broader clientele through marketing strategies. Their main tasks monitoring our marketing and sales channels, collating data, and generating strategies based on that information.
While they did manage our campaigns and expenditures, none of the content and assets they produced for us worked. Considering the creative independence we gave their team, we were expecting them to generate results that would benefit our business.
What is the team composition?
We were told that five resources from Mutesix’s team would collaborate with us, but there was only one project manager who did all the work.
How did you come to work with Mutesix?
They were highly recommended online. I’ve read reviews about their previous work and accomplishments, and I was convinced that they could make results happen for us, too. However, I found out later on that those reviewers were just handpicked by their team and not exactly close to their true ratings.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $36,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ran from November 2020–January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Mutesix performed poorly. They didn’t bring back our ad spends, a goal they clearly promised to deliver.
We made it clear that we’re a small business with a minimum budget, and they agreed to work around that. However, Mutesix kept publishing ads without our approval, some of which had placed us in a detrimental position for being false ads per the FCC guidelines. They kept including details and materials that only seemed enticing but lacked credibility.
Additionally, Mutesix never exerted effort in sharing their marketing expertise because they simply recycled the ad materials generated by our former marketing partner.
How did Mutesix perform from a project management standpoint?
Mutesix didn’t answer my calls and queries when that project started to go downhill. We were keen on communicating our status and needs as a company, but we never got anything from them in return. I spent a lot of my time chasing them for updates to no avail.
I personally thought that their project manager was at least communicative, and she just handled everything on behalf of her colleagues. However, she wasn’t properly trained to address our needs, so even her accommodation failed to save us from spending so much money on an ineffectual project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were only good at spending our money and shutting off our means to reach them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s a lot to improve on: communication, employee training, expertise, leadership, time management, and credibility. They should start focusing on these areas instead of spending their energy on putting more companies out of business.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t even consider hiring Mutesix — try to make more effort in looking for honest and successful agencies instead.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I oversee marketing and e-commerce at RAREFORM. We repurpose freeway billboards into bags and accessories including duffel bags, backpacks, and wallets. We’re primarily direct-to-consumer but we also have a wholesale and corporate division.
What challenge were you trying to address with MuteSix?
We hired them to do our paid advertising. We were with an agency we were very dissatisfied with.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, they were just doing paid social advertising for us, but because of their success with that, as well as our desire to synchronize our accounts, they’re also doing Google Ads. They’re also helping us out with a number of side businesses that fall under the same umbrella as RAREFORM.
What is the team composition?
We negotiated with Mike (VP of Sales) in the beginning and during onboarding, and Sydney (Client Success Manager) is our account manager for the admin stuff. Currently, there are four people working on our account. Megan (Director of Paid Social) is the main person and then we have Sara (Chief of Staff), Meghan (Paid Media Coordinator), and Chris (Business Development).
How did you come to work with MuteSix?
They were recommended by a number of people in the industry, as well as some of our other vendors. A strong point for us is that they were local. Both of us are based in Los Angeles so we could meet with them in-person when they were pitching. Our previous agency had people all over the world so communication could be difficult. Our email provider also recommended MuteSix to us and put us in contact with some of their clients so we could talk to them. Finally, their pricing was better than that of the other firm we were considering.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around $10,000–$20,000 a month with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since November 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MuteSix takes initiative and has a lot of experience. They’re willing to make changes and do so proactively. We don’t even have to point out things that aren’t working because they’re usually ahead of the curve. Moreover, while they don’t handle all of our creative, the things I ask for they deliver above and beyond on.
How did MuteSix perform from a project management standpoint?
We engage with them all day long, every day. It’s one of my largest responsibilities so I speak with a couple of MuteSix’s people every day. Their communication is really great, which was lacking in our past agency.
It’s also great that they have an admin and logistics person. If there’s a miscommunication I feel very comfortable approaching this person to address it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The communication is distinctive for us. MuteSix responds near instantly if we have any questions and establishes an easy back and forth. Due to the nature of our business, with each of our products being one of a kind and inventory fluctuating we have to make a lot of changes to ads very quickly. MuteSix has been very adaptive, working outside normal business hours.
Are there any areas they could improve?
A couple of things come to mind. This isn’t my domain but I’ve heard from our accountant that the way they send invoicing hasn’t been super punctual. Additionally, at the very beginning of our relationship, we had one person on the team that wasn’t great, but once we brought it to Sydney’s attention that person was moved off our account quickly. And their replacement kicked off a drastic improvement in their work for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The communication goes both ways, so you have to be willing to engage in that. They will always be available but the client has to be able to communicate as well as them to get things one efficiently.
