What were your goals for this project?
Bring efficiency and effectiveness to the design, launch and support, for our growing line-up of branded web-sites, due to acquisition.

Describe the project in detail.
We engaged the firm at the beginning of 2021 to work on four web-sites. Our goal was to standardize the look and feel and provide content consistency, across our settlement lending brands.
This was necessary as we inherited sites through acquisitions, which became increasing hard to manage, as they were all on different platforms/hosts and had varying degrees of service support (some more capable than others). The model was inefficient and we needed to get to a place of standardization and consistency, to better support this important part of our brand extension and the selling process, which is largely through our online properties.
What was the team composition?
Having dealt with many web vendors in the past, the firm was noticeably different as they assigned a FT project manager and leveraged slack and jira (apps we use ourselves), to organize the project and flow of information. They made themselves very available for meetings and quick check-ins.
In total, on their side, there were four-five people, with two key points of contact - project management and technical design. On our side, we had two team members who dedicated time to support the project and process and be as accessible as possible, during the design to support content, design and image decisions, as well as testing and launch.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Unlike other web vendors I have worked with, they are also very technically proficient, not just in design. This helped when we migrated to a singular host, installed our new chat function, and had gravity forms installed, to feed directly into our Salesforce instance. They also worked with our Salesforce developer directly and removed us as the middle person, to execute, more efficiently.

Very effective, open communication. Leveraging slack and jira was key. Everyone held themselves accountable to their action items.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Would I work with them again? Yes, and we have already engaged them for monthly support for all of our sites. We are currently consolidating our other web support vendors, which has increased our efficiency, decreased costs and now we have the pleasure of working with a firm that we really enjoy working with, understands our needs and demonstrates in every interaction, that our business is important to them!

Being an online marketplace operating in many countries across the globe we had some very specific challenges around multi currency payment processing, international taxation, and process automation. We couldn't find any off the shelf solution to achieve our goals and selected MPC as our development partner to build a bespoke solution to meet our needs.

MPC was recommended to us by another happy customer and from the very first contact with them, it was clear that they were a very professional organization to deal with.

Our project kicked off with some detailed discussions around our particular challenges and requirements. following this our account manager presented a roadmap project approach whereby our project was broken down into a number of milestones with individual statements of works and timelines agreed at the outset.
This approach made a somewhat large project much easier to manage and for us to see measurable progress as we proceeded along the development journey.

We worked mostly with two key individuals in MPC, Jake our account manager, and Michal, a senior WordPress developer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We are extremely happy with the quality of work provided by MPC. All of our goals were achieved. MPC made the entire process smooth and exceeded all of our expectations.

MPC uses a very slick communication system which is embedded in their own website. All communication is handled through this which is very useful as a full thread of all discussions is maintained and easily accessible. As well as this we had had regular online meetings at the end of each milestone where MPC would present their work to us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Two things that stand out to me are the professionalism and communication skills of our account manager Jake and also the creativity of their developers. Not only did they meet our brief but also came up with enhancements and approaches that we hadn't even thought of. This is a complete breath of fresh air when dealing with a development company.

I’m the VP of engineering at Placester. We provide software and tools to real estate agents and brokers across the US.
What challenge were you trying to address with MPC?
When I joined the company, the engineering team was misaligned in terms of skillsets. While we’re a WordPress shop primarily, the WordPress skills weren’t great. The costs of the overall engineering team were high too. I needed a company that could provide the skillset that I needed at a lower rate.

MPC functions as our offshore engineering team that uses PHP and WordPress. They also provide dedicated UX/UI designers who collaborate with a different team in our organization.

Our head of product and design found MPC as he faced similar challenges to our team’s. When he decided to work with them, I asked if their team did development as well. They did, so now we execute most engineering and UX/UI design with MPC.

We basically rebuilt our core website product with MPC. They’re WordPress experts and our site’s based in WordPress and PHP. We’re about to launch our next generation product in May, which is largely attributed to their efforts. MPC provides a much better skillset at 30%–40% less than the cost per head in the US.
How did MPC perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team uses all of our tools, so JIRA for workflow management. They always follow through with their commitments and always deliver on budget.

MPC finds qualified people more quickly than other service providers. I have nothing but great things to say about this company.

As the salaries rise in Poland, they will be challenged to maintain their financial competitive edge. They will probably need to expand their talent pool to include people outside of Poland.

It was a hard decision, but we selected Massive Pixel Creation based on the quality of their final proposal, their willingness to train our team on hay to interact with the website post-launch, and their price point, which we felt was very fair.

Once we selected Massive Pixel Creation, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. Jira and Clockify tracking management system were introduced to follow up with our team. With the first two weeks, we received mockups and initial designs. After few interactions and discussion with our marketing team, we finalice the design and provided feedback on how we wanted the rest of the site to look. Their team came back to us with wireframes and concepts for our other pages, including an updated PHP Library.
What was the team composition?
Initially, we were assigned an account manager, Michal, to support us and serve as the main point contact throughout the project. Then we were introduced with the web developer, Sebastian, and product manager, Maria. We are aware there are 1 fronted and backend developers, as well as QA resource working behind the scenes.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Within 3 months we have audit and update all site library and code, integrate stripe connected account and checkouts develop custom Wordpress plugins, update UI / UX and create seller and client dashboard.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project manager and web developer assigned was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We connected over Skype calls at least once a week and used Jira and Clockify for all the other communication. Overall, I Was impressed by their timeless of the team.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was blown away by the knowledge that had about website development and payment gateways (Stripe), user experience, and optimization. We learned much more that we thought possible, and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed. We have worked with other agencies for different areas of the company, but this was a particularly collaborative and positive experience. I will certainly engage with this company again for any website needs that we have in the future.
