Royal Caribbean CocoCay Port Experience
With the fantastic work being done to launch Royal Caribbean’s private island CocoCay in the Bahamas, we needed an exceptional port experience page in the app to accompany this incredible island. In this project we created a port page right in the royal Caribbean App for guests traveling to CocoCay to dive into the island at the tip of their fingers with an interactive map showcasing the attractions and excursions at of the island, weather and transportation information, and more…
HBO Latin America App Redesign
Working alongside HBO Latin America Group as the lead design team spearheading the effort to re-design the mobile and web application. Our main focus was to improve the user experience for the on-boarding flow, enhance content discovery, and update the outdated UI. We were mainly in charge of the user experience, wireframing, looking at existing analytics and looking for areas of improvement, helping conduct user testing, and more. Since the project was on a larger scale we also aided with the UI Design and completely prototyped the final hi-fidelity screens which we used to conduct user testing.
NextChapter Mobile & Web App Design
NextChapter’s web-based bankruptcy software program allows you to efficiently prepare Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases on any browser, any device, any time.
NextChapter’s mission was set on bringing in younger attorneys and using the modern niche as leverage to find clients, for this to happen the dashboards design had to be modern, clean and easy to use. We spent a lot of time researching and looking at direct competitors, because they already had an existing dashboard our main goal was to simplify and improve overall experience.

I am the CEO of Truzen a massage booking platform. We are an early phase startup looking to change how massage appointments are booked as well as provide Therapists an additional channel to attract new customers.
For what projects/services did your company hire MOVA?
We hired MOVA for the complete design and branding of our Mobile Application as well as for our Marketing Website.
What were your goals for this project?
To design and iterate the design from scratch based on our description of how we envisioned the app functioning.
How did you select this vendor?
I found Melisa via UpWork. I am a software engineer by trade who has worked with a number of designers. Seeing her portfolio was very impressive and inspired confidence. Once we started the project it was immediately obvious that they we the real deal. Definitely one of the best design teams I have had the pleasure of working with!
Describe the project in detail.
We had an initial phone call where we discussed the idea as well as demod a prototype we already had developed. We turned over a spreadsheet which described all of the features in detail. From there they reviewed the spreadsheet and responded by asking further questions to resolve any ambiguity. They quickly setup a project in Invision and incrementally over time delivered the project piece by piece allowing us to leave comments, discuss, and refine along the way.
What was the team composition?
I worked directly with Melisa and her business partner. They worked closely with our business and development team to make sure we had all of the deliverables that we needed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project was successfully completed and exceeded our expectations. We still work with MOVA to this day on an as-needed basis.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was seamless. Always quick to respond to questions, make tweaks to the design, and provide additional assets when requested.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were impressed with their ability to take an idea from concept to a fully fleshed out idea. They pay thoughtful consideration to all details.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We were very satisfied with their work. They are always in high demand, for obvious reasons, so at times there was a little lag in turn-around but we know this going into it when we started to work on an as-needed basis.
