I’m the director of people and culture at Eyrus.
What challenge were you trying to address with Moovx?
We’re a scrappy startup and don’t have access to a lot of money and resources that other larger enterprises have. As such, we don’t have the ability to create the same type of talent acquisition or retention strategies that those organizations do. Meanwhile, we’ve seen areas in our business where there are opportunities to build a nearshore team. These opportunities give us the freedom to find great talent in different areas of the world without having to partner with job boards or recruiters. Given that, we’ve hired Moovx to help us achieve these things and find nearshore talent.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Moovx covers just about everything we need from them. For one, they’ve helped us create challenges for resources. The team has also helped us rate those challenges properly. We don’t necessarily require them to specialize in any stack or language, but the team has introduced us to a new process of communicating with external recruiters. They’ve also created a simple sheet that shows the process we use for finding such recruiters.

We’ve worked with four people from their team.
How did you come to work with Moovx?
I did rudimentary research where I was tasked to build a tech team in one of the most expensive cities in the US. I looked at schools, local programs, and government programs, and Moovx was one of the best teams we could locate.
To elaborate, in our search, we wanted a company that emulated similar values to our organization. We also wanted the resources we’d hire to know our culture and have the same expectations as us. To do that, we needed a partner that shared our values and cultural pillars — we found all of these things in Moovx. They were fast-paced and easy to work with, and they took care of their people. These things were difficult to find in other teams, so we hired Moovx.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them on this company in September 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. For context, I’ve only been with Eyrus for two and a half months, and I signed them on during my first month.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our engagement with Moovx has given us a competitive advantage. It has allowed our company to move quickly and source talented individuals faster. We’ve also been able to enter less risky partnerships with those individuals. Moreover, the partnership process hasn’t been laborious. We haven’t had long meetings to go over our contracts, and everything has been simple, streamlined, and easy to understand.
In terms of financial commitment, we pay hourly. There are no hidden costs or membership fees. Everything is rolled into the hourly payment, which makes keeping our records easier.
How did Moovx perform from a project management standpoint?
Moovx is always on top of everything. If anything, I’ve been the one who’s dropped the ball at times. I can’t recall any moment where they’ve failed to do something right. Simply put, they move quickly, and I’ve never had any issues with them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team’s communication is on point, respectful, and concise. They have a strong ability to deliver the information we need in a digestible format. Moreover, I’ve never had any questions about who I can contact and for what purpose even when I’m introduced to new people from their team. Overall, I love how streamlined they are. To communicate, we use Slack. We don’t have to wait for emails anymore.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not everybody likes to move as fast as the Moovx team. Sometimes, it might be better for the team to take a step back and make sure that all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed before they move forward. On top of that, they must make sure all key stakeholders are informed about their next steps.

We’re a software development agency, and we also provide equipment and other product lines to our clients. I’m the operations manager, and I’m in charge of coordinating billing and purchases with clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with Moovx?
We were looking for a developer, but we couldn’t find someone with the right skills we needed in Chile. We got in touch with Moovx, and they put us in contact with the people they work with to handle a project like ours.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Moovx handles the frontend development of microservices and QA automation for a software we needed to build. We use Node together with other frameworks as well as Java Spring Boot.
What is the team composition?
We've been working with seven people; six on one team and one on the other.
How did you come to work with Moovx?
They were referred by someone who told us that they had done an outstanding job providing talented resources.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay them $25–$30 per hour.

We’ve been working together since November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

Without them, we wouldn’t have the results we’re having. They have a technically skilled team that knows how to deal with clients. They also understand business needs and deliver solutions according to that.
How did Moovx perform from a project management standpoint?
We have an open communication through WhatsApp and email. They respect agreements, and we’ve never had any misunderstandings. Everything turns out according to plan — they even foresee our delays.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We appreciate their transparency and correctness. They’re great on the administrative front and provide the necessary information at all times.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In the beginning, the information they gave us to find the right resources weren’t as good and didn’t allow us to filter people properly. After two or three months of bringing it to their attention, they changed their strategy and placed another person as an intermediary. They resolved our issue quickly and adequately.

We’re an IT consulting company, and we do business all around the US. I’m an executive there.
What challenge were you trying to address with Moovx?
We were looking to employ consultants that could manage themselves, rather than doing it ourselves.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Moovx has allowed us to contact great candidates, generally from South America, who could become part of our team. They’ve been helping us reach experts among several fields of work, which requires a broad reach. Those roles include program managers, product managers, project managers, business analysts, scrum masters, and other titles that do hands-on work with our clients. We occasionally also place managers, directors, or vice presidents, but most are people doing the high-level day-to-day work.
In terms of technologies, they’ve been handling COBOL on an AS400 computer and also do frontend work on e-commerce sites. In addition, they do backend work in supply chain order management like inventory, distribution, purchasing, and everything related to IT.

We’ve been working with a dozen people throughout the engagement so far.

The president of our company found them, and he decided on them for this project.

For communication, we typically use email, Slack, and Zoom interviews with their candidates. In those meetings, we always have at least one person from Moovx’s team.

For what projects/services did your company hire Moovx?
We needed a tool that allows us to monitor our campaigns, our clients, and the performance of our team.
What were your goals for this project?
Our objective was to see how to integrate something we had been doing in a decentralized and manual way under the one platform. This would be a great internal change that could make our business more efficient.
How did you select this vendor?
Industry referrals passed us the contact. We had a meeting and realized that we shared much of our management philosophy, which caught us in the first instance.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
A comprehensive tool for monitoring customer campaigns. This includes integration with all the campaigns that are made by different channels:
- Social Media / Google Ads / Traffic purchase and other integrations
- Filters and dashboard of the customer with status, effectiveness, budget and campaign results.
- Alert module with push notifications indicating online deviations on the KPIs indicated and configured for each campaign.
- The productivity of agents with the results of each campaign in their charge.
- Knowledge base with historical campaign materials
- Historical reports
- Campaigns tag by category of clients and of pattern to facilitate the search or to have comparative of effectiveness by country, region, category, product, type of pattern, and others.
They used React, widely used in multiple corporate projects for its support both in the community. NodeJS sed for high recurrence. Using the same language is recommended for speed and scalability, and MongoDB as data base.
What was the team composition?
2(two) Senior Fullstack Developer with Javascript expertise. 1 (one) QA Manual. 1 (one) DevOps responsible for the creation of the repositories, as well as the deployments that will be carried out in the development environment and responsible for the implementation of the solution infrastructure.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
After the initially stipulated time, the platform was presented and migrated to production starting with basic functionalities. This way the acceptance of our team was very good due to the fact that the basic module developed initially was easy to use, friendly, and above all very useful since it optimized the general analysis time.
Over the weeks, deliverables were made that would make up the platform in its entirety. Not only did this working methodology allow us to train and adapt our team in small stages, but we also had the opportunity to correct and change our focus on some ideas that we initially considered essential and then we were able to observe that they were not.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Really good. Very good experience, today we continue to roll back the platform with new needs and adopted their agile methodologies in various internal projects.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The speed of response and the level of involvement were impressive. And closeness of all at all times, attentive to our needs.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I wish the MOOVX team had worked in my offices while development was underway to better monitor progress, but it's more of a personal matter than improvement since I never proposed it. If I had proposed it, I am sure that they would not have any problem with that being the case.

I’m the CEO of Gaalsys, a web development and design company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Moovx?
We needed someone to develop an integrated security solution. Our goal was to not only provide an early warning of security and initial behaviors in the building but to also get feedback and improve the response to it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Moovx added a learning engine to the platform that improved the system of notifications. They added functionality that notes historical movement, some places of transit movement, and the volume of a person or flow in and out of the buildings. They also added to our base discussion and did the work through sensors and new cameras.
What is the team composition?
I worked with 4–5 teammates.
How did you come to work with Moovx?
Five companies participated in a tender. Moovx’s feedback was really good, and they understood our project. We needed someone who could give their input and they did it readily. They also had the best prices. Our director of operations had a contact who spoke really well of them, so it was an easy choice going with them.

Their project management was great. The team met all of our deadlines and sometimes even delivered ahead of time. Whenever I had an inquiry or wanted something changed, they answered our calls.
Our communication was also really good. We communicated almost every day, so it flowed very well. We talked over the phone, through virtual meetings, and in person. There was always someone available to reply to our inquiries.

I’m a co-founder and CEO of Wisboo, a SaaS solution that allows education businesses to create digital versions of their physical courses and sell them on their own fully-branded online schools.
For what projects/services did your company hire Moovx?
We needed to implement a PayPal integration in our platform to allow our customers to sell their courses online and track those sales on their dashboards. As our system is a multi-tenant platform, it was tricky to implement correctly.
What were your goals for this project?
To have a successful PayPal integration with a sales module for the customer dashboard.
How did you select this vendor?
They were recommended by a company that had worked with them in the past.
Describe the project in detail.
They did the front- and backend development of the PayPal integration process. The project began with some initial discovery work and then they presented a project roadmap to us. We selected and evaluated the developers to work on the integration, and then mockups were presented to us. Finally, they did the development of the sales module and worked on a couple of technical challenges in the backend.
What was the team composition?
There were two Ruby on Rails developers, a QA, a frontend developer, and a project manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The integration is running smoothly so far. It’s attained a 95% rate adoption from our customers.

It was excellent and I have no complaints.
