I’m the CEO of a company called Mondo Payments. We provide payment processing services to businesses across Canada.
What challenge were you trying to address with Momentumm Digital?
We had two challenges: we wanted to revamp our website and we needed to build a marketing program that encompasses emails, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and social media marketing in general.
What was the scope of their involvement?
After a good amount of research into the nature of our business, our products, and our competitors, Momentumm redesigned and redeveloped our website and its landing pages. They gave it the ability to handle forms, capture details from potential leads, and link the gathered information to our CRM system. Their team also helped us set up an outbound campaign from that CRM database in the form of email marketing so that we could close deals.
They then went into setting up our social media marketing and proactively managing our Google Ads to direct traffic to the website and its landing pages. Momentumm designed our Facebook ads, managed the SEO on our website, and developed all of our email templates in both English and French.
Momentum also structured our social media platforms in such a way that if somebody leaves a comment on any Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram post, our sales staff gets notified and could respond to it immediately.
What is the team composition?
We’re currently working with 3–4 people. We’ve interfaced with a Facebook Ads specialist, a Google Ads specialist, a web designer, and the CEO of their firm.
How did you come to work with Momentumm Digital?
We had an in-house marketing person but they weren’t versed with Facebook or Google Ads. No one person could possibly be a specialist in all of the available marketing platforms, so we were obviously limited by what our marketing person knew. That’s when we started searching for companies that could take over the role of an in-house marketing team.
We interviewed 2–3 companies before finally landing on Momentumm. We asked them certain qualifying questions about marketing, and they came up with a plan of action that best coincided with ours. We also liked that they could cater to all of our needs in the web design and marketing aspects.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $45,000 a month for their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project began around May–April 2021. It is currently ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since working with Momentum, we’ve seen more web traffic come into our website. Our google ranking has gone up through organic searches as well.
They’ve also cut down our costs for Facebook ads in half, from $79 down to $36. Prior to this engagement, we had to go through several steps just to see how we were performing and how much we were spending on ads. Now, we only need to access the one-stop dashboard that they set up for us to see monthly trends and marketing costs across all of our social media channels.
How did Momentumm Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very good on this front. They initially asked us to log into their project management platform, but I didn’t have the time, so now we just exchange updates on a weekly basis. They discuss any issues or developments and impart what their plan is for the coming week. It usually takes place within a 20-minute phone call. We also communicate via email and Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Momentumm is very good at listening to us when we want to make certain changes. They’re also good at attending to hiccups in the process, quickly correcting their system if something isn’t performing fast enough. Other companies we’ve worked with would insist on their own method of doing things, but Momentumm listens attentively to our challenges and finds solutions for them. They’re very resourceful, and they know a lot about what they’re doing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’m very satisfied with their services. They’ve reached their targets and accomplished the work in the timeframe that we’ve initially set out.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s up to you as the customer to know your brand and know what works for it. You need to be able to communicate to Momentumm what your business is, what you want to get out of digital marketing, and who your competitors are. It also helps to understand what you’re asking and set realistic expectations because their agency has all the tools to work with to build the most effective marketing strategy for you.

I’m the CEO of Mobilus Technologies, a software company. We've developed a software to optimize routes for local couriers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Momentumm Digital?
We wanted them to develop a short video that explains the value proposition of our software.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a one-minute animated video to show our potential customers what we were doing. We had a kickoff meeting where we explained our needs, our business, and the kind of video that we wanted to have. We also knew what we wanted when it came to the text, and we gave them examples of videos that we liked.
Then, Momentumm Digital came up with a scenario, which was followed by the images and animations. After that, we chose an appropriate voice to narrate the animation. Subsequently, they produced the video, and they gave us our project’s completed version. During each milestone of the partnership, we had multiple iterations in order to continually improve our work.

For what projects/services did your company hire Momentumm Digital, and what were your goals?
We hired Momentumm Digital for the production and editing of short videos promoting the quantum science and technology sector in Quebec along with some of its main players.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I worked with the team on a previous mandate at a different organization and was satisfied with their professionalism and the quality of the work at a good rate for their services. They are friendly and adapt their solutions to your needs.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We had a pretty straight forward process. I gave them a scenario with the questions that I would ask various players from the ecosystem along with an intro and outro from presenting our initiative. We then proceeded to film everybody's answers. Momentumm did a first cut with the best answers and we started editing from their to finish with a preview video, 4 small videos in line with 4 questions that were asked and a final video including everything under 5 minutes.
They filmed some b-roll at the various locations were we filmed and added in some extra b-roll that was provided. They were resourceful and needed very little direction to finalize the product. They added some animation to our logo and with names under the interviewed people and wrapped it all up nicely.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
I worked with 2 people that filmed, but with most interaction and the entire editing process with Steven. We did some back and forth through emails and some calls and had a session in person to do the first major editing cut.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
It's still too early to tell and we don't actually sell any products or solutions, but rather financed through the government and non-profit organizations to move the needle in getting the sector known. The initial feedback we received with the first few videos released has been great so far from the community though.

Very simple with emails, call, video calls and 1 or 2 live meetings. No wasted time and straight to the point.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
No bs and quality service without trying to constantly oversell me anything extra. They understood my needs and gave me exactly what I needed within the agreed timeframe.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The work was really great. The only thing would have been the attention to small details that were fixed quickly but that maybe could have been caught earlier. I would still rate them as top providers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Momentumm Digital?
I needed help with some videos for our social media. The content had to go out quickly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Momentumm Digital produced 15 videos to be displayed on our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and website. These videos were about the current economic and social issues in Quebec’s business environment. They also touched on diversity and inclusion.
We worked collaboratively on the project. I met with Momentumm Digital’s CEO and partner to talk through the video concepts and scripts, and they gave us some really good ideas. After production, their team handled all the post-production editing as well.

It was a really quick turnaround, considering that we started to film the videos in January and I now have the final products. One month for 15 videos is a great metric.

The partnership was good, and I liked working with them. We had a Zoom meeting once a month. Besides that, we communicated via email, and I could text them at any time to receive answers quickly.

The speed was really quick — I wasn’t expecting to have the videos ready this month. If I’d wanted the delivery to be even faster, I think they would’ve accepted that.

This wasn’t necessarily a bad point, but I think they moved too fast at times. They were so quick that I wasn’t always able to give my complete feedback. I wanted more time to think about the project and suggest modifications. In the end, the results were really good, though, so it wasn’t a problem.

It’s okay if you don’t come with a script prepared because they’re able to brainstorm with you. I didn’t have one ready when we met them since I was just thinking about the video ideas. They’re a really good team, and I definitely recommend them.

I wanted to switch over from my former agency because I wasn’t seeing the right results. That’s when I came across Momentumm Digital. They’ve helped in the form of PPC advertising and Shopify support.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Momentumm Digital manages our PPC advertising for our Facebook and Instagram accounts. They also support our Shopify site, handling anything that we’re not able to do in-house. That might include adding new products, troubleshooting, and implementing existing web apps to access additional functions not available in Shopify.
For example, we had a problem with providing user-friendly discount services, so we needed to find a workaround. Momentumm Digital excavated and integrated web apps to solve that issue. Other apps allowed us to schedule publishing and more.

But, Momentumm Digital was different. They had a platform where I could check out the live stats on my Facebook campaigns, and I liked that they were really big on data. Diving into the numbers allowed them to educate their customers (in this case, me) on what was working, what wasn’t, and how it all fit together.

We have several thousand products, so they had to manage many different PPC campaigns with different parameters depending on the products’ category and collection. They established these campaigns, also focusing on our audience’s location.
Now that the campaigns have been launched, they’re helping us optimize our campaign by making adjustments to refine our target audience. As we go, we adjust our budget and target keywords. We have monthly reviews and they propose solutions and changes then.

We had a new website made last year but hadn’t done any SEO with it, so we needed a partner to work specifically on internal SEO for the site.

They are exclusively handling our internal SEO through page organization, keyword targeting in our existing content, and new content creation.

Anthony is an absolute delight to work with. He is very easy going, easy to talk to, and responsive to our requests. From the beginning of the project, he outlined what we would be doing each month and set deadlines for each of those steps. We communicate monthly on the phone and more frequently via email about our progress towards our goals.
What did you find most impressive about them?
He goes above and beyond and has offering advice that has been really helpful. He’s willing to look at our SEO needs in a more holistic way, which we really appreciate. Our project has benefitted from his understanding of the MSP business. Anthony knows the terms that people search for and employs that in his work.

I don’t have a ton of experience with them to draw from, but in our work since June, I haven’t experienced anything that I would consider a shortcoming.

The best advice I would give is to have a clear idea in your mind of what terms you want to rank for. It is a very collaborative process, so the better ideas you have, the more effectively you’re going to be able to collaborate.

They visited the location before doing the video so they knew where they had to position themselves as far as lighting, camera, etc. They also advised me of the process and how it was going to happen. I was really familiar with exactly what we were going to do that day. They gave me a first draft, and changed what I needed.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Momentumm Digital Inc. does quite a bit for us. They helped us upgrade our website to be more digital; it was outdated, and some of the SEO functions didn’t work. They did a lot of work on the site to make it more modern and work better so that we can get more customers.
They also provide content, including blogs, for our website. The team helps us with our six annual campaigns. They help us with everything, from creating the presentations to doing the webinars for us.

Momentumm Digital Inc. does a good job. They’re on top of things; they let us know if something is going to be delayed or if there’s an issue with something. They’re good about delivering on time and making sure we know the steps they’re taking to complete the projects. I’m very happy with that.

They’re knowledgeable about digital marketing and having a digital footprint. They understand that world really well, and they’re able to provide the services that we need to make sure that we’re participating in the digital realm. Perhaps they could offer more guidance on some of the new stuff that’s coming out. I’m stretching here; there’s really not much that they could improve.
