Reasonable MVPs
Fast & accessible MVP for your business
We help to test digital business ideas. It's not just "create a mobile app and send it to App Store". Maybe it's a surprise, but the idea can be tested even without any code line. It can be photos, fake landing pages, prototypes, and MVPs. No need to build huge systems to validate customer demand.

Drew Houston, the founder of Dropbox, started his product journey from the video "how it will work". Yes, he had the idea and the vision of how it will be. So, from that point, he didn't start coding, he just made a cool video and placed it on the landing page getdropbox.com. After that, he sent a link to all friends and... boom!

WalkyFit - cryptocurrency for activities app
At the end of 2017, guys from Centurion Lab connected with our team to develop a mobile app. By using the app, users had to be able to mine Centurion (CNT) coins. The idea was really great - make money from physical activities. The app tracked your movements during the day, and the more you move - the more CNT you could mine. App had integrations with different fitness trackers to make this process simple and convenient.

Escuzi - wearable app for waiters (wearOS)
Escuzi is a wearable application for waiters.
The app was made for smartwatches powered by Google's Wear OS.
The app allows taking orders, managing orders, sending them to the kitchen, and many more.
The hardest part was to optimize the interface for small screens. As it's the app for intensive everyday use, all elements should be easy to click, without any additional efforts. That's why we invested an additional week for UX testing in real cafes, watching how waiters manage test notifications from the app in real life. After such tests, we significantly improved several screens and moved any possible options into new screens.
Such projects allow you to reopen yourself as a designer, watching the real-life problems from the new perspective, putting interfaces into smaller screens without losing any piece of functionality. Car interfaces, appliances, any other devices are challenging, but the excellent field for designer's growth.

Showman - mobile app for actors training (powered by AI)
Showman (working name "Acty") is a mobile application for actors' self-tapes. It's powered by Artificial Intelligence to analyze the play quality and rate the actor's skills.
Analyzation is based on multiple parameters, like script correctness, emotions, speech, and many others. Machine Learning algorithms should make clusterization of hundreds of stats and give the final score break up on three numbers: script, emotions, and overall score. In the reports, actors can see the beautiful charts showing their best moments and the points that should be improved.
In the future, this tool will be used for casting managers to pre-score the candidates.
The client of the app is a guy from Hollywood, that tested the app idea on Broadway actors. Stay tuned!

Mobile App Dev for Electric Vehicle Charging Provider
"They quickly understand our requirements and proactively provide suggestions to optimize the cost."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a ChargePoint operator and dual electric vehicle charging provider in India. We do some proprietary hardware and software technologies and some value-added associated services.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
We hired molfar.io’s to build out the front- and backend of our iOS and Android applications.
What was the scope of their involvement?
molfar.io supported our internal team with the development of our mobile applications. These apps allow users to request and book dual electric vehicle charging sessions from their phones.
We did the project scoping and wireframing, while their team developed everything based on our visual designs. They now provide ongoing bug fixes and maintenance as part of our deal.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with a product manager, the main backend developer, and several frontend architects.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
They were recommended by some members of our team, so I looked into their ratings and reviews across different platforms. That assured me that I could give this work to them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested more than $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together for almost a year, since around January 2021. Our contract is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are very happy with molfar.io’s work. They are a pretty hands-on team, and they’ve done a great job of developing everything based on our wireframes and designs. Our applications are now live and downloadable from the app stores.
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve been dividing the work in a very modular fashion through different stages of development, but they’re very good in terms of adhering to the timelines and managing the scope of work. We communicate through Slack and use a cloud-based tool for documentation purposes. We also regularly hold Zoom meetings, to which molfar.io has been very disciplined in showing up. They are very attentive and responsive to our comments and feedback.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their team comprises of very sharp people; they quickly understand our requirements and proactively provide suggestions to optimize the cost. I find that very valuable.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We almost always go above our budget limits, and these could be due to us constantly going back to their team to have something fixed or enhanced. I think they should also shut us down when it comes to that so that we can also stay within budget.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear definition of your project’s focal point. Having a good upfront alignment on the requirements will allow the company you’re working with to provide the best estimates, designs, and meeting schedules. Also, have your internal team do some due diligence so that the frequency of your back-and-forth discussions with the company can be reduced.

Mobile App Dev for Mental Health Solutions Company
“They are extremely professional and on point.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a mental health solutions company. We make digital audio to help people improve their lives.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
We wanted to make an iOS app, so we reached out to molfar.io. They did everything that we asked.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The app has media playing functionalities, journal entry capabilities, and a lot of different files that have to be played in different formats. Their team took care of all of it. They also gave us some recommendations on the design of the interface; we chose one of their designs but adjusted it by changing the colors and some details.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Sergey (CEO)
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We found them through Fiverr.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $6,000–$7,000 on the first app.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working on the first app in November 2020. Since then, that app has launched and currently, we’re working on another one.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We receive a lot of positive reviews from people that are using the app. They did an amazing job.
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through WhatsApp and email. They are extremely professional and on point. Every single email message I sent is responded to immediately. They even worked with us when a quick budget issue came up.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was unsure if a company that I found on Fiverr could deliver high-quality work because the price range of other companies is much higher for the same visual quality. Not only they did deliver, but they delivered at a level that far exceeded the amount of money that I feel they're worth.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not that I can think of.
Any advice for potential customers?
If someone is looking for a guaranteed result, high quality, without all the stress that goes into it, I would give them the call. Also, the more specific you are, the better they'll be able to deliver.

AR App Dev for E-Learning Company
"Their receptiveness, experience, and hardworking approach distinguish them from other service providers."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CEO of Redwood, the first AR K-5 math adventure game.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
We hired molfar.io to help us with our AR needs. There’s a global crisis going on right now. You’re seeing D’s and F’s across K-12, but if you look at elementary schoolers, you have six-year-old students on Zoom classes.
It’s not their fault they’re doing poorly so what we’re doing is we’re trying to build a highly engaging medium of learning math; we believe that building an interactive 3D environment is the answer because a sheet of paper and a 2D screen can only go so far.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Molfar.io is using Apple’s ARKit which is similar to an API on Swift and Xcode Framework to build our app. We don’t have a backend yet, but we’re working on building it using AWS or Firebase. Right now, they’ve plugged us in Amplitude — it’s a free KPI tracking tool.
They’ve completed developing our iOS app, but we’re looking to continually improve our average session time per day, so we’ve been working on applying many UI changes. We plan to launch the new update in a few days.
Basically, they serve as our development arm. Initially, we only planned to outsource all our coding to them because we’re non-technical founders. What ended up happening is a long-term relationship between us because we’ve started to see them as members of the team.
What is the team composition?
In total, we collaborate with six people, including Sergey (CEO & Founder) and two of their other teammates in charge of UI/UX and other tech needs.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We were looking for somebody with AR and early childhood video games experience. We found Molfar.io on Fiverr and we directly contacted them on their website. Their platform was very polished and we set up a discovery call there. At first, we were planning to reach out to different outsource shops, but we were impressed that Sergey laid out the roadmap including how much their services would cost.
They offered an extremely affordable price, and they stood out because they had already completed projects in both of those domains. The team also came in the meeting with several ideas, and after that, we naturally decided that they were a good fit for us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $9,600-$10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We reached out to them in December 2020 and our contract started in January 2021. Our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We like that they care about what we do, and since we’re raising our first round of capital, we plan to retain molfar.io as long as humanly possible.
We now have a completely functional app on the App Store thanks to molfar.io's efforts. Hiring an in-house developer can cost us a six-figure, and with the team's help, we've saved a lot. Moreover, our average session duration per day has gone from 5 minutes to 13 minutes.
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve rapidly changed things based on customer feedback, and they’re extremely agile. Whenever we send them updates, within a few days it’s implemented.
molfar.io is part of our Slack channel, and they’ve been able to adapt to our internal team’s workflow seamlessly. They directly set up three streams of communication, and they ensure that everything is okay by speaking directly to the internal team. That way, I don’t have to constantly distill and report information. Overall, they push the ball forward, and they know what it takes to get things done.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their receptiveness, experience, and hardworking approach distinguish them from other service providers. They also give me updates every morning and informs me about the timeline of our deliverables. Sometimes, an output may take a month to finish, but they’ve always done their best to do things in advance.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’ve noticed that we’ve gained a lot of users from Ukraine because of molfar.io’s work. We’re not sure if it’s their friends, family, or other people, but it would be great if we could hear feedback from them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do it.

Android Mobile App Dev for Onsite Payment Services Company

the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Tap For Pty Ltd. We're providing an onsite service for payments, including collecting donations for charities at retail establishments.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
I’m working with molfar.io to create the software platform. They’re building the platform that will allow us to present it to people and collect donations for charities.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve started from scratch to build this Android application. We started off with meetings where we explained exactly what we wanted. They’re developing the software that will enable us to place multiple different charities on the home screen, which will be presented to customers next to a POS system at a retail store or supermarket.
They’re building it to give the consumer the ability to select the charity of their choice, the amount they want to donate, and then the ability to use their bank card to donate. Once we’ve gotten through testing the concept of the platform, we’ll move into other aspects of the development with them.
What is the team composition?
Sergey (CEO & Founder) is my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We found them as a referral. We researched different freelance developers and realized they had great reviews and had already developed an app for someone in our location before. It was easy for me to call and speak to the CEO of that previous company, and he gave great reviews of molfar.io.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $6,000–$7,000 AUD (approximately $4,600–$5,400 USD)
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2020 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality has been fantastic. They do exactly as they’re asked and give us plenty of help and advice. They’ve actually changed a few of our opinions on how to do certain things, which has been great
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication-wise, they’ve been fantastic and on a different level. Previous to the project starting, they gave us a sprint-by-sprint breakdown of what they were going to do and gave us a projected finish line. The only reason they didn’t meet that end-date was purely on our side with changing the scope of work, COVID-19 restrictions, or holidays getting in the way.
As far as meeting deadlines, they’ve pretty much done everything on time when we’ve asked. We use WhatsApp for messaging each other and try to do a weekly Zoom call so we can be face-to-face.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their high quality is one thing, but I’m blown away by their communication and attention to detail. Their work ethic also stands out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It sounds cheesy, but I haven’t experienced anything I’d like them to change.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They make the process very easy. They’ll send a confidential contract — what you ask for is what you get with their team.

Mobile App Development for Yoga Company
“I was most impressed just by their ability to put all of the pieces together without any errors whatsoever.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Me and my partner started a yoga company and wanted to create an app for affirmation, meditation, and vision boards to go along with it.
What challenge were you trying to address with molfar.io?
I needed a design partner to help really bring my vision to life in the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The biggest focus of the project was the design for the app, which I had a very specific vision for. The point of the app is to help you calm your mind, so I wanted it to be very minimalistic and easy to use, and they focused on making those two things a reality. We built the first version on iOS, and the plan is to get feedback and expand to Android from there.
What is the team composition?
I only interacted with two members of their team, including a project manager and a developer, both of whom I found to be very professional.
How did you come to work with molfar.io?
We found them on Fiverr, and originally ran the project through their platform but then decided to move the rest of the work to our own contract.
How much have you invested with them?
The design was about $2,000 in four or five payments. Their price was amazingly low compared to what a lot of other vendors wanted to charge us.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project around July 2020. My partner and I just got engaged and bought a house, so we put the app on pause for a bit, but we are planning to continue working with molfar.io in the future.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the app itself is excellent. It runs very quickly and smoothly and has received really positive feedback on the usability of the design.
How did molfar.io perform from a project management standpoint?
They have made the project really easy for us to manage, first in their quick responses to us as we iterated back and forth on the final designs, and then consistently updating us on the progress of the development and posting to the app store. With any other company that didn’t follow up as well as they did, I’m sure the process would have taken much longer.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was most impressed just by their ability to put all of the pieces together without any errors whatsoever. I’m not a person to give a lot of compliments unless people really deserve it, but what they did with the app, the time frame in which they did it, and the communication were all extremely professional from day one.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about the engagement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try them out with a smaller project, and I’m sure you will gain the confidence to bring them on for whatever you need.

Native iOS & Android Dev Support for Banking Apps

Please describe your company and your position there.
We’re one of the biggest banks in Ukraine that’s powered by modern technologies. We have 22 million users and provide all banking services like cards, credits, deposits. I’m the project manager who led the communication with molfar.io.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io?
Before we approached molfar.io, our main product team was in the process of rewriting our client application for mobile banking. We’d already been developing the apps for a year but realized that we were closing in on a tight deadline, so we hired molfar.io to boost our development capabilities.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed them to support us so that we could get our mobile apps out on time. With our app, users could manage card accounts, communicate with customer support, and book all of our other services.
How did you select this vendor?
It was a difficult process. I interviewed about ten teams from our city, and the price/quality ratio was not good. Some had high estimates, others could only start after a month, and many were only semi-skilled.
Then, one of our team members recommended molfar.io. He knew the founders and organized a meeting with them. I was positively surprised by their product-based approach and flexibility. Usually, offshore teams offer a people-per-hour model that isn’t the most effective way to build products like ours. But molfar.io’s method seemed to suit our needs. That was the deciding point for us, and we signed an NDA with them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
It was a productive collaboration. molfar.io provided us with native iOS/Android mobile development, project/product management, QA services, and UX design. We liked that they offered certain services like UX design free of change because they were focused on producing a better final result.
We had all of the documentation ready at the start, including the product requirements document, technical specifications, storyboards, and more. They used our materials to estimate how many resources we would need to meet our deadline.
Afterward, we agreed on the scope of work and tasked them with building out support functions: managers, chats, ratings, an FAQ section, urgent calls, and other add-ons. Once they finished that initial scope, we allocated them to support the project’s overall bug fixes.
What was the team composition?
They assigned three iOS Swift developers, an Android Kotlin developer, a QA tester, and a project manager. 90% of the time, I interacted with the project manager, and he managed all tasks/questions/issues with their developers. I liked that a lot—the less communication with different people, the better.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We completed the apps on time, which was the main success factor. Based on molfar.io’s product background and recommendations, we managed to improve our roadmap/workflow and speed up our processes. Today, the apps are in a closed beta, and we’ve received very positive feedback from our beta users.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
I think the management was really good; I can't remember any issues or misunderstandings during the process. Our team used a Scrum methodology with one-week sprints, daily meetings, and retrospectives, which Molfar.io fit into well. They joined our meetings and gave daily and weekly updates. Whenever I had questions, they would respond within 10–20 minutes. We used Slack for communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Not only did they meet my expectations, but they were so flexible. Our team was surprised that they could jump into the project in just a week.
Their product-focused mindset was also a significant addition. Each team member—from project manager to QA tester—tried to come up with solutions that would benefit our end users and product, which is rare for developers.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, it’s really hard to add anything. Maybe they could improve their testing by adding more unit tests for 100% code coverage. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of a new photo sharing app and real-time social network called "Picturize"
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io, and what were your goals?
I wanted to create an app that allows you to share only recently taken photos. These photos should be automatically assigned to the place where they were taken and the date/time. Also, the user should be able to assign them to a specific category (e.g. "News", "Sports", "Animals", etc.). These features make it possible to view current photos from around the world in real time and also search photos by location, date/time and category
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I found this company over a freelancer platform. They have a contact in Germany, which then introduced me to the CEO of the company. They made a professional impression from the beginning, so I decided to work with them
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
First I described the idea of the app. We had then a Kick-Off call with the German contact and the CEO. As a next step, they provided the ideas of the UX design of the app. Upon approval, the started to develop the app. Durcing the process, more and more functions were added. After beta testing, the app was released in the AppStore in January 2022
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I interacted only with the CEO of the company, I guess about 6 people were involved in the project
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
As the app has been just launched, there are almost no users yet. However, the overall feedback was really posoitive
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Very easy communication, very responsive (even late in the evening or on weekends), all requests were implemented instantly
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The quality and the overall app development from as an MVP design to a full development was amazing.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I don't know what should be done better...

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder and CEO of an online therapy company based in British Columbia, Canada.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io, and what were your goals?
I hired Molfar.io to develop a simple mobile app that connects users to ongoing, text-based mental health support. My goals were to create a high-end product on an MVP budget.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After meeting with multiple app developers, I decided to hire Molfar.io because based on their value, attention to detail, flexibility, and professionalism.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Molfar.io helped develop the app from the ground up. I provided a wireframe and style examples and Molfar.io did everything else. We broke the project down into 8 sprints, which allowed us to make sure that each step of the project was done correctly before moving on to the next section. Molfar.io created a Native iOS app with various features.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with Sergey, CEO and Co-Founder of Molfar.io
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Within three months, Molfar.io took my rough app concept and turned it into a high-end iOS mobile app, ready to launch in the App Store.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I cannot say enough positive things about how flexible, creative, fast, and accessible the Molfar.io team has been throughout the project. We used Slack as a primary communication tool and it has been fast and easy to work with Molfar.io the entire time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
In addition to their impressive technical ability and effectiveness, I was impressed with how well I've been treated. As a small company, I did not expect to be treated with such care, attention, and priority.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't think of any constructive critisism for Molfar.io at this time.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of a basketball training company.
For what projects/services did your company hire molfar.io, and what were your goals?
We wanted to develop a mobile app for our users to access our training content. Our goals were to build an MVP app that we could build on in the future.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I found this vendor on LinkedIn. The deciding factors were his professionalism when speaking with him on the phone. The final deciding factor was when I contacted a previous client of molfar.io. I asked the previous client if they had a good experience working with molfar.io and their response was "Absolutely. They are great!"
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The score of work was designing and building an MVP app for iOS devices. The focus was on first coming up with a design and then adding our content in multiple languages. Molfar.io was on schedule with every target date they set at the beginning of our working relationship.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I communicated with one person on the team - Sergey. He was great at communicating with me every step along the way. His team was also a part of the project (as I gave various people access to Dropbox, Apple Connect, and other accounts).
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Everyone that has seen the app so far has given positive feedback. Potential investors have really enjoyed the usability of the app and the multiple functions. We have just launched so we do not have any metrics to show yet.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project manager was very easy to communicate with. There was a 6 hour time difference between our working locations, but he was always available to answer my questions through WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I found that the most impressive thing was their ability to adjust to my needs and learn more about the market I'm working in. Our user market will focus on Asia, and molfar.io quickly learned about the differences between Asia and Europe in regards to the technology - and quickly adapted. It was refreshing for me - because it allowed me to focus on other aspects of the company while they focused on the app development.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No. They were great. I look forward to continuing working with them in the future.
