Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing lead for an air traffic control firm. We develop software solutions for navigation service providers and airports worldwide.

What challenge were you trying to address with MOLE INTERACTIVE SAS?

We changed owners, so we had a new company name, logo, and brand guidelines to follow. We needed to adopt all of these on very short notice. We also had an old website that was deactivated, so we needed to change all the visuals from the website to align with the new brand guidelines of our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MOLE INTERACTIVE designed and developed our WordPress website to match our brand guidelines. They removed archaic sections and added new ones. Also, there were several plugins on our old website that were hard to work with. They worked on development there and cleaned the plugins so it would be easier for us to use in the future.

What is the team composition?

I worked with a designer and a developer who also did the project management side.

How did you come to work with MOLE INTERACTIVE SAS?

I met the owner years ago at an advertising agency, so I knew his work ethic.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2021, and they delivered the initial work in May 2021. We’ve added some new things to the scope, so we’re still working together on those.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They didn’t disappoint and delivered the fast integration we needed. The new owners were very satisfied with the results and the time we took to implement all the changes. Our internal team and the clients were all happy with the results as well. Overall, it was important to have an aligned image of who we are and what we do. Thanks to MOLE INTERACTIVE, we were able to assure a smooth transition to our key customers.

Additionally, I loved that they jumped into this challenge with no fear. They did everything to meet our deadlines and what we needed. They were also really generous about sharing their knowledge. Moreover, they helped us do many things in WordPress and trained us along the way.

How did MOLE INTERACTIVE SAS perform from a project management standpoint?

I kept track of all the things that were or weren’t done. I was pushing this part of the project, so it’d benefit them if they had more resources for these tasks. We communicated almost daily, using email, video calls, and shared screens. We also used GoToMeeting and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They took responsibility and delivered on time. We worked in two different time zones, which sometimes meant they were working early or late at night to deliver. Nonetheless, everything went smoothly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The project management side wasn’t quite optimized; they needed a better structure. The developer was in charge of project management, but their skills were more technical. They need someone managing the whole project and keeping track of all the deadlines. I’ve actually spoken with them about this because they’d be more successful if they worked on it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about the things you want and keep the communication going. Since they lack some project management skills, make sure you keep track and have everything clear. In that manner, you have to be very organized in the tasks you require.
