Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of KnowNOW Health. KnowNOW Health is a technology based healthcare company with brick and mortar health centers as well as a Telehealth App that offers healthcare via Andriod and Apple Smart phones. We were founded in 2017 and have been in constant redesign and development with the help of Mobikasa.
For what projects/services did your company hire MOBIKASA, and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a mobile App for our patients that could connect with us easily and at any time. This would allow our medical providers to see the patients after hours and on weekends from the comfort of their home. Patients had been asking for such a device to be available from their smart phones.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for App developers and came across Mobikasa. We also had some guidance from their prior work with 1-800 Flowers and Versace. We chose Mobikasa based on their competitive pricing, past projects and design skill.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We met with the Mobikasa team in their Park Ave office in Manhattan and kicked off a discovery meeting that led us from our initial website with KnowNOW STD to a full scale App completed in 2020. We met with their CEO, Prateek Sachdev and their US based team. From the very beginning to completion of our projects we have only received professionalism, patience and complete guidance and support. They are an amazing team.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager, Richard George was assigned to our project and we also worked with front end and back end developers. We would have weekly meetings and would work using the Trello board. We would have constant and timely communication and review of progress.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Within a month of beta testing and launching the App we have had a complete success. We have telehealth and texting all in the grasp of our patients. We have had over 3,000 downloads and have a 4.5/5 rating on the IOS App. Apple even made a feature story on our App for the Apple store. We have garnered new patients thanks to the App and also have an excellent review 5/5 on Google. Patients and providers love our App.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Our project manager, Richard George was amazing. He has been excellent at communicating and follow--up. We set up weekly calls and would follow up via email or live calls via Zoom or Google Hangouts. Everything was delivered in a timely basis and we had excellent and constant follow-up.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their mobile app development skills were amazing. They have a very professional team that is dedicated and are experts at UX design. This was our first mobile App and they were patient and understanding. They walked us through the project and assured understanding and delivery.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The team is amazing working out of India and the U.S. Sometimes scheduling was a little difficult but they would always accomodate.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the deputy city clerk of a city’s governmental agency.
What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we faced having to manage our municipal elections during a time when it was difficult for candidates to qualify for the ballot and public financing. Traditional campaigning requires candidates to go door to door to collect the required petition signatures and qualifying contributions to qualify for our public financing program.
We launched an RFP to find a company that could help us meet this challenge remotely or in an electronic format. We wanted to build a program to allow our candidates to collect the qualifying contributions in a web-based format, instead of them going to the population in person to collect them on paper.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MOBIKASA first spend a lot of time building into the scope that we had written to make sure that it was specific enough for them to start working. Then, they spent a couple of weeks building the program frame. They showed me how it would look to ensure that it matched our needs before they did the actual development.
The program is live now, and although this is a finite project, we still have a maintenance contract with them. It is built on an API that runs through the Secretary of State’s office because we don’t have access to a voter registration database.

Richard (Delivery Manager) is my main point of contact from MOBIKASA, which is nice because I’ve got to know him really well. He acts as the project manager, so I don’t have to bounce around with different people.
However, whenever Richard is gone, they provide me with enough contacts so that I can get something done if needed.
During the onboarding process, I also met MOBIKASA’s president and all of their developers, so I had a good experience meeting the people who would be doing the work.
How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?
We issued an RFP, so this was a competitive process. Among all of the companies that responded, MOBIKASA seemed to understand our scope the best; they matched better to what we were looking for.
Additionally, they had already worked with other governmental agencies similar to ours. For example, they had experience working with the New York City’s election bureau, so I knew that they would understand our language.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $75,000 on the development, and the ongoing maintenance will be $15,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around August 2020, and the site went live in April 2021. We will shut it down in August 2021, but we hope to keep using the program for the municipal elections and keep upgrading it based on what we’ve learned so far.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Even though we built this program due to the pandemic, this has been a very successful project, and we hope to continue using it in future elections. Some candidates decided to have door-to-door campaigns still, but others decided to make broad use of this tool.
Overall, the ones that decided to use it found great success in it. Some candidates got over 50% of their required signatures and qualifying contributions through this site.
On the other hand, we as a city are very happy with the program, which is an additional useful tool. The site works exactly how we wanted; it is very simple and allows our registered voters’ population to sign a petition or donate to a candidate.
How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?
MOBIKASA uses Trello, which was especially helpful before we went live when we were doing a lot of testing. There were a lot of moving parts that we didn’t have control over, so managing the project through Trello helped us keep that moving pieces together while we were building tickets and trying to fix everything before the site went live.
What did you find most impressive about them?
MOBIKASA’s customer service is impressive. I know that they have offices in the US, but as they built the program during COVID-19, they managed all the development from India. I was initially worried about the timelines and how much it would take them to fix issues. However, when we’ve faced issues, it takes them no more than a couple of hours to get us back online.
They’re one of the easiest companies I’ve ever worked with, and I enjoy working with them. Additionally, from my experience, it was nice that MOBIKASA spent time walking me through the process instead of just coming in to do it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I faced some inconveniences throughout the project, and if I had been asked this question during the development process, I would have some constructive feedback to share. However, we’re about to shut this project down for now, and I’m happy overall. This has been a pleasant experience, and I’m thrilled with the product, so I would definitely work with them again.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure that you have a very specific scope in mind before you go in. We made a lot of changes before we went live, and because of that, we faced problems in the first couple of weeks after launch. If you have a clear enough scope, those issues can be resolved earlier, and you’ll not be fixing them once the site is live.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the director of partnership for Sift. We’re a machine learning-based fraud technology. In addition to payment-related types of fraud, we also cover content-related scams, and account takeovers.
What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?
I’m managing some of the e-commerce platforms, including Shopify. We hired them to build an integration for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MOBIKASA is a development agency and systems integrator. Shopify referred us to MOBIKASA to build our integration so that our software was already integrated into Shopify.

I specifically worked with 4–5 people— the CEO, CTO, chief web officer, and one person who spearheaded operations.
How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?
I had connections at Shopify who recommended them and one other team. They were the most reasonable in cost. We had a great feeling about them and they were in our budget.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in January 2020 and we have an ongoing partnership.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project was successful. The build is now complete and we’re about to start a maintenance contract. Next, we’ll share it with Shopify to be approved and certified so it can be included on their integration marketplace. We’re very happy because the application as built in a way that it meets their requirements and can be certified.
How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?
We had the benefit of working with the CTO and he was a superstar. We were very blessed with the support we were getting. We had weekly calls, but if we needed anything, we could contact them via email, Slack, or whatever else.
There were things that were delayed either on our end or theirs, but it was just a matter of what we encountered. If anything was delayed, it was communicated.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their responsiveness and availability have been great. They’ve been super easy to work with from both a commercial, legal, and technical perspective. They were very flexible, open, and transparent.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No; I only have good things to say about them. They gave us the red carpet treatment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
MOBIKASA, like any vendor, can only be as good as the requirements that are captured in the scope of work. We know what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. So any future clients should know what they want and make sure the requirements fully capture that.

We selected Mobikasa after interviewing several companies. We based the hire on fast responsiveness to inquiry and perceived knowledge of the area. The contract had the website launch date of Oct 28th

The owner Aakash, a web developer, and a designer.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
To date, our website has not launched. Mobikasa took the old website down on Nov 2019 and we still have no website on Feb 19, 2020. Two people have quit the company and without the ability to sell a product we have lost thousands in revenue.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project is terribly managed. The contract stated Sept 9 start and launch on October 28th 2019, it is Feb 19, 2020 and still no website. Mobikasa took down the original website on November 12th leaving us with an insufficient landing page.
Every workday we are told there is one more task that needs to be completed and our website will be up the next day. They have asked for the prices of the products (there are only two products) 5 times and exhaust our team.
It was obvious that they were fast to get payment but as soon as we paid they were no longer interested in fixing the website. We missed the holiday sales and now months more!
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I was impressed by how responsive they were in the beginning to get our money... Then no delivery to date.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They need to improve in every area or they will put multiple businesses out of business. I have had two people quit already.
The vendor responded on April 17, 2020.
It is unfortunate you feel this way. But the facts stated are wrong to the core. Mobikasa has always been communicative and has never missed any deadlines (your team can back us up on this). In December, we had stated the website was complete. But due to additional developments (change request from your team) and 3rd party integrations, on which we have no control over, the website was not live.
We were introduced to these 3rd party integrations at the end of December, and the flow of integration was finalized by those two 3rd parties by mid-January 2020. We had no role to play in that. The 3rd parties confirmed that the integrations were complete in mid-February, and even then we made the changes that they suggested. Ideally, that should be considered a change request and thereby an additional effort, but we did it for free. We were told there would be 1 integration partner, but there were 2. We still managed and got the work done. The landing page was out of scope, too, and was done at no charge.
Mobikasa was not at fault. These delays forced us to give extended support until the date to make the project what it is at this stage.

I am serving as the CEO and Co-founder of the company and would like to take this conversation further with the review for Mobikasa.
For what projects/services did your company hire MOBIKASA?
As we are aiming to become India's top gifting portals, there are a lot of areas which needed improvements to scale-up our business and reach to the right audience at the right time. Starting with the website layout and mobile responsiveness of the portal, customer satisfaction was almost negligible as most of the traffic was on mobile but the navigation and look and feel of the portal was poor.
Controlling inventory was also a challenge as the incoming inventory from different parts of the world needed systematic entry via well-quipped softwares. After trying different methods of marketing, the conversion rates were still low and the budget was disturbed due to low sales. If we were going to grow our business and hit our expected revenue targets, then the whole thing had to be redeveloped.
What were your goals for this project?
We had been working on Shopify but with better understanding of the portal with the Shopify Experts from Mobikasa, we could make use of analytics, reports and suitable apps from the store which could help us in smooth operations and better control on inventory management, customer feedback and product discovery on the website.
With more than 85% of users on mobile, app development and mobile responsiveness had to be re-developed not just for better navigation but with improved IVR calling system integration, fraud detection and order confirmation could also help in reducing sales returns. Digital marketing using Facebook Ads, Google Ads, PPC, SEO content integration for better rankings, social media marketing, public relations with media and influencers and POS system generation for events for consumer behavioural analysis had been planned to work on to improve traffic, conversions, brand loyalty, trust and customer retention.
How did you select this vendor?
The company was discovered by our team on the Shopify Experts portal and also recommended by few of our colleagues who met the Mobikasa team at a local business conference where the conversation was initiated. After setting up discussions with more than 3 other companies, Mobikasa turned out to be the perfect choice for our brand as they could understand our vision and relate to our revenue model better because of their expertise in this industry and extensive knowledge and experience of working on similar projects in recent times.
Time and budget were also major factors of the consideration as other companies came up with lead time which was not suitable for the current stage of our company. Case studies presented by Mobikasa seemed promising and the friendly-nature of the team members was impressive. The co-founder of MangoPeopleShop Mr. Harsh Vardhan Gupta along with our business consultant/mentor and I, decided to get on-board with Mobikasa for the first phase of changes which gradually led to the final stages in a span of 1.5 years.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Mobikasa divided the project in three phases during which the entire designing, approvals, re-development, system configuration, intregration and launch had been planned. The look and feel of the old website was revamped keeping the brand personality intact and introducing new features and navigation styles that enhanced the user-experience. The project began with their team along with MangoPeopleShop's design team on brainstorming ideas and suggestions that could work for the desktop and mobile version of the website and then execution was taken further.
The functional versions were ready for user testing and feedback every two weeks. Improvements were made during each sorting thanks to key suggestions from their developers. Once the website was delivered successfully, the team started working on the iOS and Android App development which was done in the second phase of the project. For product procurement and inventory management, new features from third-party app were introduced to keep the data in sync and to automate the systems which helped us in smooth operations of order dispatch.
To increase the reach of the target audience, the marketing and SEO team from Mobikasa worked on Facebook Ads, Google Ads, keywords, SEO content integration on the website and analytics which further enabled us to strategise our marketing campaigns and increase direct traffic, better rankings and overall revenue of the business. For enhancing customer satisfaction, IVR calling systems and COD confirmation were then integrated after the final re-development of the website. Other features like email newsletters, media pages, wholesale/corporate application forms, customer reviews, interactive games were also introduced by their team.
Their consultancy services for product research and planning has resulted in knowing the customers better and tactical planning of procurement of goods from our vendors at better rates and as per the demand of the customers. For offline events and trade fares, their product development team has developed a POS system for brand awareness and interactive activities for consumer behavioural analysis and to make a mark for the brand locally. This has also enabled us to get live customer feedback and generating leads from corporate or big organisations because of the professional setting of the display.
What was the team composition?
The team dedicated to our project had about 15 people with a dedicated manager from the beginning of the project who was the main point of contact for all activities. We were well connected with all the departments throughout the project as and when needed.
During the project, one of the members from the website development team had to leave for a while which came as a shock to us but what mattered the most was that they was another manager who was assigned proactively who was handed over the details after which she took charge from day one and we were notified about this prior to avoid any delays. That was really appreciated.
The team was approachable at all times and have been supportive enough for our business ideas and any changes that were required during the project. Divya, Renuka, Raj, Vikas and Mohtashim have been extremely helpful for all different areas of the project like website, app, SEO and marketing respectively.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
As expected from the team, the project delivery was done well within time and we launched the website and app earlier than expected. Our major goal was to enhance the user interface and experience on our web portal and increase our search rankings which was achieved successfully. The brand personality, visual appearance and brand voice came out well through various strategies and applications on the web portal, marketing ad campaigns and SEO content which has resulted a growth of 170% of website traffic and conversation rates by 1%.
Systematic warehouse management by introducing stock inventory softwares has resulted in reduction of human errors by 7% and thereby, reducing customer complaints and returns. The investors, board of directors and our team have been praising the work done by them and we have renewed the agreement and have on-boarded Mobikasa as a long-time partner for their services because of how well they performed.
The team members from MangoPeopleShop can now better focus on marketing strategies with data-driven results and have extra time to focus on product procurement rather than depending on extensive research with low chances of results.

We have been working with other developers and agency but never saw such great enthusiasm and professionalism which this team has always shown throughout the project. The project was handled with good care and with proper analytics which was very impressive.
Regular brainstorming, suggestions and feedbacks were provided by their team to ensure quality results along with focusing on project completion. Their team regularly complied with deadlines and always communicated delays well ahead of time. There was no critical delay or spillage during the project. We communicated exclusively with Skype, Whatsapp, Phone Calls and meetings.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The best part about the team is their open-to-feedback approach for all projects. We were also well-connected with the top management of the team whenever it was necessary.
They have been extremely helpful for mentorship and guidance for any value added services that they could provide. Mentors from their team also helped in scaling up our business globally which was highly appreciated. Project delivery was quick and came out to be exactly as we wanted.

I’m the CEO of Neha Mehta Couture, an Indian ethnic wear retailer that sells custom-tailored gowns, saris, and more. Since starting our business 5–6 years ago, we’ve expanded into two brick-and-mortar stores with a production warehouse and have gradually started to sell our products through various e-commerce platforms.
What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?
As our business grew, it became increasingly difficult to manage our operations across our two locations, warehouse, and online channels. The primary challenge was finding a way to keep track of our online orders and then matching those sales with our internal CRM. Without this, it was difficult to take payments or give refunds. MOBIKASA joined the project to create a payment solution that could capture all of our sales and production information in one location and integrate with our existing CRM.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MOBIKASA developed a web-based payment solution that would help us better manage our sales and warehouse data across various channels. Because we don’t have an in-depth tech background, they initially allocated a business analyst who helped us understand our problems and reframe them into a project scope. Together, we came up with a list of features, which would become a wireframe, a design, and finally a functional system.
Their team built the solution using Node.js to capture a lot of information throughout the production pipeline. For example, if a customer wants to buy a custom piece of clothing for a wedding, one of our staff would log the order for our warehouse team to fulfill. All of the production/payment information would then be tracked in the system, which we could access through an admin console.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the general marketing and communications manager for a travel and tourism consortium. Our group is comprised of several companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Mobikasa?
We’ve contracted Mobikasa to develop various websites and assets for the companies within our group. So far, we’ve completed the first project, which involved designing a WordPress site for an organization.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mobikasa designed and developed a WordPress site for one of our travel companies. We initially contemplated going for a fully customized site. But Mobikasa suggested using WordPress because the themes would be much simpler to roll out, and, internally, we’d have an easier time operating and modifying a WordPress backend.
Once we established this, we provided them with an in-depth overview of our company’s objectives, product offerings, and revenue streams. They used this information to strategize a design, coming back with a number of options to consider. We narrowed the selection down to one design and agreed on a theme. Then, they finalized it and began development.
All in all, it took about 45 days to complete the site. We’re now discussing a white labeling API integration along with plans for additional websites and assets for other companies within our group, but that will be about 5–6 months down the line.
What is the team composition?
For this project, they assigned a client relation manager who served as my main point of contact. Any information that needed to be relayed to me would come through her. Although she mostly functioned as coordinator, she also understood the technical and design aspects fairly well, so she was quick to simplify complex concepts to me.
They also had about two designers, who were active with me during the first project phase, and two developers. The latter would support some SEO work and check to see if plug-ins worked. Finally, we had an account person who oversaw our payment schedule.
How did you come to work with Mobikasa?
They actually came to me through a reference. I had put a request out on Facebook to see if anyone in my network could recommend a web design company. Mobikasa applied along with 7–8 other companies that I spoke with, and I decided to partner with them.

We’ve spent close to $10,000 for this project alone but have a packaged deal for more projects. We plan to continue working with them to build out several assets for our remaining companies. The pricing structure is in installments. Every time we receive a piece of work (e.g., design collateral, site build, final site), they bill us.

Our work started in April 2019. They’ve completed the first project so far, and we’re now looking into other development.

We were very happy with how the site looks. In fact, we continue to do QA, and they’re still generating reports for us along with any follow-up/maintenance work. It’s always appreciated when a provider offers full project completion services.
How did Mobikasa perform from a project management standpoint?
They created two WhatsApp groups: a main one where everyone involved could converse on tasks, be it design, development, or SEO; and a smaller group with the team leads. In that sense, everyone was constantly connected and could push out real-time updates on what was happening. The team was very responsive. If I ever needed them, I knew that I could reach out no matter the hour.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s difficult to pick out one thing to highlight, but I had quite the experience working with their entire team. They’re young, energetic go-getters who are extremely professional. If I want something done, I just give it to Mobikasa and relax; they’ll figure out the rest.
In addition to their quick turnarounds, I really appreciate that they stay true to their commitments. Rather than giving us false quotes, they’re honest about how long a task will take and deliver as expected. That level of transparency is invaluable when working with an agency.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If I had to point out an area for improvement, I would suggest scheduling more on-site visits so that we could have a resource here in the office working with us. Their team is located a bit far away, so they can’t really come by as often as I’d like. This hasn’t affected their work, but it’s always easier to get the job done when someone’s sitting next to you at the table.

I am the founder and CEO of an urban social media chat forum.
What challenge were you trying to address with MOBIKASA?
We wanted to build an online community of like-minded people who are conscientiously aware of events in their area. We wanted a forum where people could also make friends and personal connections online. I had contracted another app developer who wasn’t meeting my needs. The app was crashing and performing poorly, so I needed a new developer to help me.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I gave them control over whether we should try to salvage the existing app or start from scratch. They decided it would save time to start fresh, so I ended my contract with the previous company and sent MOBIKASA my ideas.
We started with an 8–10-week contract. They created an admin panel and set us up with helpful functionality. There is an option to block abusive users and a utility that flushes the chatroom every 24 hours to avoid overcrowding. They went through the whole backend to ensure compatibility with the AWS cloud and they secured all our online certificates. They helped create a domain name, solidified our logo, and obtained all the necessary approvals through the app stores.
They also implemented YouTube videos on the site and gave users the option to report issues or other users as needed. They made the app look very inviting and provided all the graphics I wanted.

I initially contacted their COO. I was assigned a project manager and the team included a graphic designer, iOS developers, an Android developer, a backend developer, and application testers.
How did you come to work with MOBIKASA?
I found them through an online search. I was looking for reputable companies in the area that I could interact with in person. They were within my budget, so I met them at their New York office. After a consultation, we decided to do business together.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested approximately $60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2018. They delivered the app at the beginning of July 2018. Because of some additional requirements for the iOS version, they went back in and made some changes. Everything was completed in a timely manner.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were finishing the app right in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal with Facebook. We were worried that we wouldn’t be able to offer the option to sign in or link to Facebook but MOBIKASA put my mind at ease that it wouldn’t be an issue.
Though the Android version has been ready for a while, the Apple version just passed into their stores. We wanted to make sure both versions were live before we ramped up our marketing efforts. I hope to have more feedback from users once we have more participants.
How did MOBIKASA perform from a project management standpoint?
They manage everything on their side. If I couldn’t go into their New York office, we would meet on Google Hangouts or another very interactive digital platform they use. They can keep track of deadlines or scheduling changes there in a clean, clear way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were very personable. They invited me to their office several times and I like their young, hip energy. They’re really interested in me and motivated by my success. They want to build a long-term relationship with me and I really value that.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have anything negative to say about them. The whole project ran smoothly and they were sensitive to the fact I had a bad experience with a different development company. They explained everything clearly and made sure I felt at ease.
The team has generated reliable development solutions with reasonable code error rates. MOBIKASA has further impressed the client with their agile and dedicated approach — they adapt well to stringent programming processes and deliver well-defined results within quick turnaround times.
