Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a project manager at a consulting firm that works with clients to design and develop digital offerings that support business transformations. 


What challenge were you trying to address with MKANOKOVA?

We were about to launch a product in 30 universities across the UK, and we needed help with our overall content marketing strategy. 


What was the scope of their involvement?

Monika helped research and provide insights on what students wanted to get out of some events we were puting on that included guest speakers. She then helped us use that information to develop content for social media, while managing engagement. 

What is the team composition? 

It's just Monika (Freelance Community Strategist).

How did you come to work with MKANOKOVA?

Monika had spoken at one of our events and she had a lot of experience in areas relevant to our target audience, so we felt she'd be a great fit for the project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from around January–December 2018.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Monika took a very unique, creative approach to creating a strong community discussion. The positive impact from her work was apparent in the way people reacted before, during, and following the events. Thanks to her approach, many of the students were able to gain tangible advice to help them in their own careers and development.

She was incredibly responsive, organized, clear, dependable, and proactive throughout the engagement. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Monika's work speaks for itself. She brings a lot of practical knowledge to the table, and takes an in-depth approach to understanding communities in order to effectively engage them. Her work helped create conversations and follow-up actions from our students. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I was very happy with her services. If anything, she could be less humble about her expertise and market herself a little more. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just listen to what she has to say because, while her approach may be different, it will definitely be valuable.
