For what projects/services did your company hire MIIIND?
We have instruments for advanced traders, however there is a gap in our offering for beginners to trading / investment. We wanted to create a simple and intuitive instrument for beginners to make their first steps in trading and investing

We have chosen this vendor because we liked their proposed approach to resolving our challenge and their portfolio was really appealing to us.

We started with research and analysis based on which we figured out the final scope of works. After that the UX solution was created which covered all the main user journeys and flows. After it's review and approval, a design solution was created (the objective was to have consistent visual design between web app we were building and mobile app which already by that time).
We then made a user testing of particular flow based on which some changes were introduced. At the final iteration we received the solution covering desktop and mobile layout for the web app we were building
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had senior designer doing all the design work and we had a founder assisting us with creating a roadmap and overall arranging of work to be done.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The UX and visual design were well thought-over and it covered all use-cases we required. Artefacts we received were ready for dev and we could start the implementation of the app in accordance with our roadmap and schedule.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We liked that everything was delivered as promised, we had great predictability when and what we will receive. The communication was also great, guys adequately reacted to all our comments and suggestions. We had one episode of delay which was due to COVID and it was perfectly clear communicated to us (including new delivery time) and because of it did not cause any issues on our side.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They really worked efficiently and delivered in accordance with their promises. Communication is great, they manage our expectations and we had a clear vision where are we now with the project and what is ahead.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only minor complain we got was at dev stage and it related to the fact that not all states of elements were designed (enabled/disabled, animation for transition from one state to another etc). So the improvement point here is to cover this during the design stage so that we do not need to get back to it during dev.

I'm the product manager at Admirals, a trading application.
What challenge were you trying to address with MIIIND?
We hired them for mobile app development and design services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had a mobile app that we wanted to redesign and needed to add a couple of new features. MIIIND has helped us with that, and they are currently helping us develop the concept, designs, and user flows for a new product. Their team uses Figma to create designs, and our mobile app is available for both iOS and Android users. They’re also helping us maintain our old product.

We work with three people from their team: a product manager, an iOS designer, and an Android designer.

I knew about their company because we had lived in the same location previously, and I heard about them from many of my friends.

What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement started in August 2021, and it’s still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve already released one part of the design and have gotten pretty good results: users are not stopping in the middle of the onboarding process, and the bounce rate is not that high. I assume that we have more engaged users because they can now find whatever they want on the app. Also, the design itself is nice.
How did MIIND perform from a project management standpoint?
Their designers work very fast, so they’re always able to meet our deadlines and stay within budget. We use Slack as our main communication tool.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their product manager and designers follow a product-centric approach. Whenever we give them a requirement or an idea, they don’t just implement it but also do research and come back with their own recommendations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We should go back to the kind of tracking that we were doing in the past.
Any advice for potential customers?
They like to be involved in the initial stages. Also, when you just ask them to change something small, they might not be that effective because they love bigger challenges where they can kind of take the whole thing and redo it.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Quality Testing Lab. We provide software testing and development services. We’re based in Yerevan, Armenia, and the company is almost six years old.
What challenge were you trying to address with MIIIND?
We had a one-page website that we built off of a template from the internet. We wanted to make a new website with a unique design, and we wanted to be able to control and change the content ourselves through an admin panel.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We began the project with me telling Arman (Founder) what I wanted. I did not provide any type of documentation; I simply explained my vision and our needs. They did some research and looked into the websites of our competitors as well to better form their concept.
Based on those requirements and research, Arman and his team developed a predominantly blue website, as this was my desired main color. They also created separate sections for our solutions and services, portfolio, customer feedback, and contact information. MIIIND designed the website to be responsive as well.

I’m not sure how big the team was, but I was mainly talking to Arman.
How did you come to work with MIIIND?
MIIIND was referred by a friend of mine who’d worked with them and was delighted with the quality of their services. My friend’s testimonial was enough for me to decide to work with MIIIND.

The project started in 2020, but I can’t remember exactly when. They finished everything in four months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MIIIND’s work was more than perfect; it was awesome. I asked clients and friends to check out the website and tell us what they thought of its functionality and design, and all of them were very happy with it. The solutions and projects page also helped our clients better understand how our company worked.
According to Google Analytics, we’re now getting 20 times more site visits. Prior to the redesign, we only got 2–3 visitors per day, and now we’re getting more than 15 daily visits.
How did MIIIND perform from a project management standpoint?
They handed over the website two weeks ahead of schedule. They were easygoing with everything, responded quickly to our messages, and readily implemented what we wanted. They were also very happy to talk to us about any idea that we brought up. I had some things in mind that I couldn’t figure out, and I appreciated being able to discuss them with Arman.

What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of MIIIND’s work really stood out to me. They were really dedicated to me as a client, and it felt as though mine was the only project they were working on for those four months or that this project was their own. I also appreciated the fact that they delivered so many ideas and options for us to choose from. I'm the CEO of Deem Communications, a PR and marketing communication agency. I have over 15 years of experience in the field.
What challenge were you trying to address with MIIIND?
They created a website and digital game apps.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We provided MIIIND with a map of the sections we were going to have on our website. After that, we collaborated with them to create the design of our platform in order to make it user-friendly to our customers. Their team also did huge work on the backend part of our project.
For the game development, they helped us create our IQ 2020 game, which would test the knowledge of our users about Armenia and its architecture, literature, paintings, and more. We provided them with the content and the steps of the game.

MIIIND produced high-quality work; it was cool, refreshing, and new. The website was successful once we launched it and we gained a lot from it. They did a good job in a short time and they made all the points that we had worked on together.
The app was a test game for us, and they did a great job with that too. We really liked their team, and we’d like to hire them for more projects. We were very glad that we made the decision to work with them. We still have three months to see if there are bugs that need to be resolved, but for now, there are mostly no major bugs in the project.
How did MIIIND perform from a project management standpoint?
They had good communication skills; the team was very pleasant and they responded to all of our requests. Everything was in written form, and they quickly responded to us. We used Asana to communicate. Arman was a good project manager and his team was also great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their approach to every project was impressive. We appreciated that they prioritized their customers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would have loved to have face-to-face meetings with them, but COVID-19 made it impossible. Nevertheless, we did the project online and everything was perfect.

DEEM offers its marcom services mostly to the Tech sector with a focus on medtech, pharma and fintech. With a team of 19 professionals, the agency communicates in 8 languages and caters to the top commercial and non profit institutions.

DEEM was tasks to build a website that communicates the EU funded projects in Armenia. Our team designed a concept that would make the information interactive with multi-media tools. We hired MIIIND to develop the site map and back end.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
There was a tender called to several companies. MIIIND presented the most creative and sound project with a reasonable budget and timeline. The selection was done through several pools, including an interview of the shortlisted candidates.

Upon selection and signing of the contract, the teams had an inception meeting to draw out the deliverables and task distribution. It was vital to have the project be completed in time for the launch event that took place several months after the signing of the contract.
MIIIND team worked with existing concepts but also brought in their solutions that made the process smoother and deliverables more flexible and appropriate to the needs presented by the client. Once the task was planned out, a regular update meeting call was set up between the Team Lead and the MIIIND project team. Updates and progress was communicated to the team and the client to manage expectations.
Prior to completing the project, a testing phase was also considered which allowed the client to test the site and make all and any kind of modification. Once this was complete, the project was launched in a timely manner. Further updates were done internally with the support of MIIIND team as consultancy and maintenance. The site has been functioning ever since.

There were 3 direct connections with several other developers working with the team. The Project Manager, the engineer and the developer. On regular occasions we would either have one on ones, depending on the scope of the discussion; however, sporadic team meetings were also conducted, grated it was online in most cases due to the pandemic restrictions, but that did not hurt the process in any way.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
This was a new site that the EU Delegation now uses as the go-to website to communicate with the media, the international donors and other partners. There is a regular increase in visits. It can be estimated to be up to 4% increase on average every month.

Regardless of the pandemic and its restrictions, the tools used were online platforms like Zoom and Google Meets. The PM tools were used internally as we each had our own preferred platforms. The communications were done in writing via email in copying all relevant parties. Their style was quite friendly, professional, and accessible.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were quite supportive and friendly which helped the communication flow to remain professional yet pleasant and productive. This team is flexible and helpful.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only suggestion is to consider a post-delivery How-to module in writing that can be handed in to the client to facilitate the updates and progress.

Midway through the project, we had a leadership change, and the new leadership in our Office had a different approach, the team was very flexible and made the required changes to the design and development process.

Additionally, the backend of the website is very easy to use and update with fresh information. Our news, events, and program pages are regularly updated, and our Office staff is very happy with it.

The team at Miiind had an agile project management style. We were in contact on a weekly basis, we worked mostly with email, phone calls and in person meetings. They were very adaptive to our needs, and were always available to discuss, brainstorm and come up with the best solutions for our Office.

Their flexibility and agility. Working on a project that experiences a major leadership change is not easy, especially when the perspective of the new leadership is not in line with the old leadership. The Miiind team, was very flexible to the changes in our office and always accommodating.
They were willing to train our team to use the backend, to this day are very responsive and easily reached any time there are any issues or questions.

They've done a really beautiful job, and they remain committed to making sure our website suits all of our needs. After launching the website we had a few minor issues, they quickly responded and fixed the issues.

The first event has been held in 2009 and continues to be one of the major annual IT events in Armenia. So the project was developed in steps. First we gathered and discussed all the features that website needs to have, then we prioritized with MIIIND team deliverables and followed the development process. Website first needed to have a landing page for announcing the event, then registration section to register for the event, Agenda section, About and the glossary of all time event speakers with their personal profiles. Also MIIIND developed branding for 2021 event and created design for merchandise. Laravel, PHP and React were used for the development.

On web piece vendor allocated 5 people: 1 Backend Developer, 1 Front End Developer, 1 PM, 1 QA and a UI/UX designer. For branding piece 2 people worked: 1 Brand Strategist and 1 Designer.

The website performed as intended, it easily handled traffic of around 2000 people at once.

They have been developing using agile methodologies. I don't know what were their internal tools, but communication was performed through shared Slack channel, emails and Telegram for file sharing. Deliverables were set in 2-4 weeks, based on the piece developed.
