Accessible Pharmacy is a home delivery pharmacy specializing in services for the blind and low vision community and their families. We were founded by blind and sighted experts in the areas of accessibility, technology and medicine. I am one of the co-founders.

What were your goals for this project?

The Accessible Pharmacy App is an ultra-simplified Optical Character Recognition (OCR) app designed specifically for people who cannot see to empower them to have the contents of prescription medication packages read to them. Only the necessary features are included in order to minimize complications for those who cannot see the screen. The app is also HIPPA compliant and all medication and healthcare information resides exclusively on the phone and is not shared with any other parties or systems.

How did you select this vendor?

We shared an RFP with multiple companies and Metova was clearly the best choice for us and our needs.

What was the team composition?

We worked with multiple people from Metova and each one was helpful, punctual and easy to work with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project was finalized during the coronavirus. There were multiple challenges on our side and Metova was incredibly patient and supportive.

I am the co-founder of SILO Compliance and helped design the original product. I also handle the marketing, sales, and new user training.

We needed a cloud option for our customers that were moving to cloud solutions.

Providing a product alternative, easier deployment and maintenance.

After providing us with the cloud solution, we retained them for ongoing support and development.

We have about 4 developers and a project manager on the team providing us with services and depending on what we are trying to achieve one developer may be the lead on a project.

Much faster deployments to our customers, quick maintenance, fast support.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our Head of IT uses Jira and Slack with their team. He is very happy with the responsiveness of the team. The few communication problems experienced were always quickly corrected.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their responsiveness was impressive, and they were willing to work hard for our business even though we are a really small company. We felt heard, important to them. They also listened to our concerns as to why we left the other, original vendor.

They've been great - we feel part of their team and they are part of ours.

We hired Metova to integrate PurelyHR, our HR system, with Mavenlink, our PSA software.

Metova specializes in custom software integrations and is a partner with Mavenlink.

The project needed to synchronize new approved PTO entries from PurelyHR to Mavenlink, update/delete PTO entries in Mavenlink, and schedule PTO syncs.

Metova's team consists of two developers and a project coordinator.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Bluedrop's HR tool now syncs into our PSA software, allowing us to use this additional functionality.

The Metova team was efficient, and they communicated well with our staff to fulfill the requirements of this project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Metova team is knowledgeable; they ensure to have a full understanding of the products they are working with. They also ensure to meet the requirements of their clients, even making small tweaks as needed, which is very much appreciated.

Our AWS contact found Metova for us as a possible vendor. After many conversations and a proposal, we decided to go with Metova for our technical discovery.

Metova, with offices in Arkansas, provided an in-state resource with the superior technical expertise required to build the planned Innovator Health solution.

Metova Provided a tech assessment evaluating our existing product definition. Next, we entered the Design phase which, once approved, led to the development and finally the deployment stage.

The project has had tremendous success within our industry. Metova completed the project and exceeded all expectations.
