We had some tricky circumstances but the MediaForce team never batted an eye, just listened to understand the issue and then moved quickly to solution and implementation. They were very collaborative, open to questions, pleasant to work with, and results-focused.

How well they listened and collaborated. We would literally work through an issue together on a phone call, with the dev team iterating in real-time as we went. I don't think I've ever had the same visibility into a team's inner workings before, and never had that same level of collaboration. 

In other deployments it's been "here's your solution" and how you can adapt to it. MediaForce worked with us to talk through options and deliver the solution that we wanted/needed

I’m the president of a company that is into various businesses. We sell furniture and antiques of all kinds, do reproductions of different items, and rent out props for film and TV productions.

We had an existing website but the company that we previously hired constantly committed errors when it came to updating our products and services on the platform. We needed a website that could explain the complicated nature of our business, and we hired Mediaforce to help us manage it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Mediaforce took over the management of our site from a previous vendor, fixing a few problems with it in the process. They ironed out some glitches and set up the new website on WordPress. 

The main thing that they had to organize was the gallery; we have hundreds of photos spanning our different product lines, and these change on a weekly basis. Mediaforce made sure to properly arrange and sort our products as well as key in the right product descriptions and prices. We now rely on their team to update that content as frequently as needed.

I only work with two people: Joe (Founder & CEO) and Harinder (Led Web Developer).

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve paid $450 CAD (approximately $350 USD). They’ve only billed me once for this ongoing service, and it’s less than half of what anybody else has charged us in the past.

We started working with them in May 2021, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I mostly look into how properly and quickly they can update our website’s content, and they’ve done quite well in this regard. I’ve also seen our weekly traffic increase by 20% because they’ve done a great job of adding in more photos, updating the content on time, and enhancing the site’s design. Our visitors can now count on new products being up on the website every Monday, on the dot.

It’s been perfect. Whenever I need a product to be updated or uploaded to the site, Mediaforce gets it done in only two hours. I’ve also had no problems in terms of communication. Anytime I need them, even if it’s on a weekend, they make sure to return my call or respond to my email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed at how they were able to figure out the underlying issues of our website when we first started the project. They did their research, went into great detail about why glitches were occurring, and provided a complete breakdown of how they were going to fix it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have any complaints. Working with them has taken a great weight off my shoulders. We used to have so many problems every week, and even the previous companies I’ve worked with couldn’t figure those out.

We met regularly over several months to explore concepts, design elements, colours and the "energy" for the sites. Mediaforce designers and technical experts presented us with an original design and we willing to modify this a few times to accommodate our ideas, graphics, images and desired functionality. They were patient with changes to text and layout and always accommodating. We completed the project with training in Wordpress and the LinkedIn editing process.

We hired Mediaforce to address some urgent updates that were required for our corporate website. Some information was outdated or duplicated, and we had new products that we needed to get posted. The overall design was also very out of date and legacy work from previous leadership. We asked for a proposal to redesign the entire look and feel of the site, and also to get quotes for SEO marketing and analytics.

I did an online search for local vendors, and the reviews for Mediaforce emphasized their great communication and quick response time. Both of these attributes were very important to us, so we decided to switch from our old vendor to Mediaforce immediately.

Two parts to the project - immediate fixes to website content, and longer-term redesign. It's a WordPress site. Overall timeline is about 6-8 weeks from initial project start to completion. We filled out a requirements checklist and also provided examples of other corporate sites we liked to give the Mediaforce team a place to start.

I initially worked with the CEO directly to describe our requirements. He was able to get a web developer to do our urgent updates right away. I then was put in touch with a project manager to go over the longer-term redesign aspects of the project.

We don't have analytics set up on our site as of yet, but the immediate fixes we needed were done quickly and correctly.

As the project is somewhat small in terms of corporate websites, I don't think there will be much formal project management. I was however impressed with the requirements gathering questionnaire and how each detail was covered in terms of what we wanted and didn't want to include.

Their turnaround time for requests is fantastic - always within an hour or two, or sometimes even less.

No, I wouldn't change anything!

The overall project scope was to update and refresh MDE Consulting Ltd’s Website. Via a questionnaire, phone interviews, and us providing some thoughts and insight, Mediaforce began the initial rebuild of our Website.

From the initial build, we have worked with Mediaforce to refine and edit the Website based on the preliminary development; however, the initial result indicated that Mediaforce clearly understood our business needs.

None at this time, as it will most likely take a few months to see a return on investment… but that was part of our design when starting this project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Relatively seamless, with communication occurring via email and phone conversations and us providing Mediaforce with updates and edits as needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to understand our needs is amazing! MDE Consulting Ltd offers the marketplace, and then turn that into an effective-looking Website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A tad faster on turnarounds… but quality over quantity is something that MDE Consulting Ltd strives for, so we understood that quality is more important than speed, and we ended up with a better product because of it.

After a series of discovery meetings, we embarked on the project and started with a brand new logo to kickstart our new web presence. Once we had the new logo and the new photos of our employees, we began the work on the website.

This was a very interactive process until the end. Even after the launch, we still touch base and tweak what is necessary in order to maximize our lead generation. They are also meeting with me once per month to go over the results and discuss and changes necessary to carry on with reaching our goals.

The digital marketing campaigns were successful across the board with an increased level of conversions coming in from our website. In addition the SEO campaign developed by Mediaforce was very successful, as a result we enjoyed an increase in traffic to our website.

We had regular discussions in the early stages of our marketing campaigns which transitioned into regular emails and monthly reports. Communication has been effortless, a very smooth process from beginning to end.

The response time of the team was fantastic! If there were any small hiccups or concerns (there weren't many), it was fixed very quickly. I felt like I had a say in everything despite giving them the reigns on the project.

They built my three websites from scratch—including the logo design—and update them regularly. They also perform SEO work and all of the digital marketing. They’re currently revamping the Cars and Guitars website for me because I’m doing a guitar giveaway contest.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve gotten a lot more clientele thanks to Mediaforce—I even had to hire someone to handle the increased workload. When I was working with a previous partner, I would never get any real calls. Upon engaging Mediaforce, I immediately got 5 calls for customized guitars. These included calls from out of town, past Toronto and Montreal, so they’ve also substantially boosted my reach.

Their marketing efforts have been extremely successful so I’ve been able to sell my product for a great profit. They’ve also enabled me to work directly with companies; it’s often very difficult to get a hold of them, but Mediaforce has broken that corporate barrier.

How did Mediaforce perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been amazing to work with. If I have any content to add to the site, I send it to them and they incorporate it right away. There’s absolutely no hassle about it. They also make sure to check that I’m happy with the site, so there’s a lot of communication back and forth.

Being able to breakthrough to corporate clients has been the most impressive, since attracting the attention of companies is so difficult. Mediaforce has been great about marketing that side of my business.
