Staffing Services for Technology Manufacturing Company
"MCVO has a huge pool of overly qualified people for the job, and they’re willing to go the extra mile."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the financial director of Mini-Circuits. We’re a global company that manufactures technology.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
In the past six months, we have been trying to recruit and hire talent from different backgrounds. It was becoming difficult to do it in the US due to the financial part. Our former recruiter spent countless dollars advertising on our website, LinkedIn, and other websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we initiated the hiring process, we were looking to complete it within 2–3 weeks. First, we provided MCVO with documentation and a description of the profile we were looking for, and they found the people.
We’ve hired two people so far, and we’re recruiting a third person for analysis. We have an AR and an AP clerk. To start, we’re using transactional positions.
What is the team composition?
Cherry (CEO & Founder) and Mark (Co-Founder) have been helping us.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
It was becoming hard to find people locally due to the pandemic, so we decided to look outside and see if somebody could help us. MCVO called us, and my boss discussed what they could offer. Initially, it looked like a good solution, but we still doubted their recruiting ability. However, we were proven wrong.
The key factors that made the deal for us were that they retained those people so we didn’t have to hire them locally, and they had a good price. We could hire somebody for a third of the price in the US, so it was a no-brainer.
How much have you invested with them?
In six months, we’ve probably spent between $25,000–$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together somewhere in April 2021, and we’re still hiring more people.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MCVO easily provided quality candidates. We’ve been working with two people for over six months, and they want to work and are talented. Also, they have a four-year degree, so they can grow and are open to learning. Overall, working with them has been a plus for our team. They’re reliable, hardworking, and really nice people. Additionally, they’re flexible in terms of timing. They match our US time, so it’s the same as working with someone local.
We’ll continue to hire more people through MCVO.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re honest and always available. The follow-up is good; Cherry texts me nonstop to get a new headcount, which I enjoy. We typically communicate over email and Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their dedication makes them stand out from other providers.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just try it. They can recruit someone that will fit your company culture perfectly. Also, MCVO has a huge pool of overly qualified people for the job, and they’re willing to go the extra mile. So maybe start with one person; it’s the third or fourth of the price you’ll pay in the US.

Staff Augmentation for Talent Agency
"They're able to continue my production and turn my business on again after not working for a year and a half."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Washington Photo, the photographic arm of the Washington Talent Agency in Rockville, Maryland.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
We needed to find a cost-effective solution for me to maintain my employees while reducing operational costs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MVCO helps us source talent to provide us with photo editing, video editing, and web development.
The start of the pandemic enabled us to build and rebuild the individual sites of our 10 photographers. After the first couple of facelifts, we then integrated a couple of templates since we didn’t want every website to look identical. We then broke down each photographer and their portfolios into different categories and put them in separate Google Drive folders.
What is the team composition?
I work with Maco (Photo & Video Editing Supervisor), J-Anne (Photo & Video Editor), Malen (Video Editing Team Lead), Alyssa (Lead Web Developer), a video editor, and the management team.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
The management team at MVCO is the same team that was behind the company that I’ve done business with in the past and I’ve known Mark (Co-Founder) for more than 30 years — he’s been telling me about MCVO for a decade which back then, was still taboo to me.
The COVID outbreak gave people like me to reflect on things we didn’t have time to reflect on. I had Mark come to my podcast to talk about his company and thought I’d give outsourcing a try after listening to his passion.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing partnership started in June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
One of the things I photograph is a three-day national dance competition that’s celebrated in cities around the country. We photograph and videotape hundreds of dances in a 48-hour time period, and the photos and videos are typically delivered to our studio a week later.
Through MCVO, I was able to upload those images and videos in real-time and have them processed the next morning. Thanks to their management team, I’m able to add more members to the team, train them for two weeks, and have them work for me to meet my goals in a 3–4 day period —there’s nowhere in this country where you can do this economically.
The people that I've been working with are not just stellar in a professional aspect, but in a personal sense as well.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m the one driving the project management and we usually correspond through email, Skype, and Zoom at least once a week.
We've had a few bumps along the way, but I can confidently say that based on everything that's happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, we'd be in a different place right now if it wasn't for MCVO. They're able to continue my production and turn my business on again after not working for a year and a half.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I don’t know any other providers so I don’t have a way to answer this.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to figure out what your goals are, see the finish line, and understand that there’s a learning curve just like with any other project. You must be willing to deal with the learning curve and take the time to teach somebody how you think and what your morals and ethics are.

Staff Augmentation for Digital Marketing Company
"They were highly beneficial to the project, and the quality of their work was the same as my staff’s."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the owner of a digital marketing company.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
I needed to augment my workforce, and they were perfect for that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired MCVO for outsourcing. They had one of the best graphic designers I’ve ever worked with and a very competent web developer. Essentially, they worked with my team for our entire engagement. Additionally, they provided some accounting services.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a developer and a designer. I also had two account managers, and I worked with them at various points.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
I found somebody with a similar situation on a business acquisitions forum. Then, I read a review and reached out. They had excellent reviews from the people that they’d worked with.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–October 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their designer and accountant were a substantial resource, and if we’d employed them internally, it would’ve cost us five times as much. Moreover, the quality of their work and willingness to jump in there were outstanding. It was super easy to get a hold of them, and they were very flexible.
Also, I was extremely happy to see that I wasn’t just paying someone to do a task. They were creative problem solvers, and they had their own ideas. The graphic designer was one of the few people I’ve ever worked with that I could just give an idea and she’d come back with multiple solutions — working with her was great.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
My team ran the project management side on the backend, but they were adaptable to all our technologies. MCVO didn’t have any trouble fitting into what we asked of them. They brought positive attitudes and dedication to work.
We set a specific number of hours, and they worked within the timeframe and met their goals. Also, they’d let us know if they needed more or less time to deliver, and their estimates were on point — we never quarreled over a bill. Overall, they were the type of company that I like to have as a backstop.
We pretty much communicated over Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their most unique value was that they offered their own creative input, which substantially added to the value of their service. They weren’t typical workers — they did more than what they were told. They were highly beneficial to the project, and the quality of their work was the same as my staff’s.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re flexible and willing to work with you.

Outsourced Bookkeeping Services for Real Estate Company
"MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services’ bookkeeping efforts help free up our time."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Timber Hill Group, a real estate acquisition company. We specialize in buying and developing industrial and commercial real estate properties.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
We needed a team that could handle our bookkeeping to help cost savings and efficiency in our accounting.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services is responsible for keeping our accounting books in Quickbooks. This is for a dozen properties for individual entities and for our business, which is a fee-based real estate company.
The team books and journals all our payables and vendor invoices. They provide regular bookkeeping services and reconcile our accounts on a monthly basis.
What is the team composition?
We regularly work with one individual from MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services. Also, just to clarify, I’m not the one responsible for overseeing our ends’ relationship.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
We have a personal relationship with the owner of MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve invested $7,500 in total for the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started in March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I would say that we’re getting both efficiency and accuracy from their services. MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services’ bookkeeping efforts help free up our time.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
A team member from our end keeps in touch with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services on a daily basis, mostly via email. The team is very good in terms of communication and project management. The training process went well, it mostly ran through video conferencing calls where we would share our screens.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their strong communication skills stand out for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any criticisms for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a strong training process with their team.

After-Hours Customer Service for Online Dress Company
"The adaptability is most impressive."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the brand manager of Kennedy Blue, an online bridesmaid dress company. We sell primarily online, but we do work with a specific store to sell our bridesmaid dresses in person. I watch over the brand and take care of the entire customer service area.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
We wanted someone to take care of our after-hours program. After we had closed our customer service line, our business was having a lot of customers trying to get answers from us. We were hoping to spread the hours out to let customers reach out at any point of the day.
That’s where our contact from MCVO comes in. She takes care of everything that happens after we technically close our online shop when people still have questions. Normally, we are done at about 4 p.m. People end their workday around 4 p.m.‒5 p.m. then they go online to get their questions answered. She’s there for that purpose.
What was the scope of their involvement?
She started out with emails, and then when she was trained a little further, we got her onto online chats. We don’t have her on calls yet, but that is something we have talked about for the future. As of right now, we’re getting more chats coming in, so that’s what she takes care of.
What is the team composition?
It has just been our main contact. I do keep in contact with her supervisors usually every other week to give them some feedback on how the employee is doing.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
I wasn’t specifically the one that found them. Our company manager found them through online reviews of companies based outside of the US but work for US clients. after-hours programs in the US, though we’re located in another area.
We reached out, and within a week, we had an answer and someone who was willing to work with us. It was fast and a great experience because we were in need of help urgently.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our contact started in August 2019, and the engagement is perpetually ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The only metric that we are tracking is the satisfaction score we receive weekly. Every single week, we have a score coming from emails and chats that our customers have given for our after-hours program. It’s star-based — between one and five stars — and our employee is at an average of 4.9 stars, so it’s great.
We don’t have any plans to add or take anything away. We do want to keep her, and we have thoughts of possibly adding to the team in the future when our company continues to grow. That is something we’ll bring up in 2021.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
Working around time zone differences was a little difficult initially, but we have set a specific schedule for our time, which is Central Standard Time. It’s about 4 p.m. our time when she starts working, but I think it’s 6 a.m. in her time.
We communicate between 4 p.m.– 4:30 p.m. our time — or 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. her time — to go over the metrics for the entire day and any updates of what customers have ordered or what we need her to get done throughout her nightshift.
Then, one of us, which is usually me, asks questions, and gives feedback through Slack. It’s a lot faster than email and not as formal. That’s how we usually communicate. If there’s anything else that we need to communicate, we do so through Zoom as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The adaptability is most impressive. She has really gone above and beyond just taking on any task we’ve given her, even when she doesn’t have anyone next to her to help her out.
Everything is online, which can be tough for someone who’s starting out in a company and is new. She has adapted really well to our company and our policies. She also responds well to customer service.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In the past, we did have an issue with our after-hours program and about ordering dresses through our manufacturer. One thing we used to struggle with is making sure that we’re double- and triple-checking those things.
Ever since we’ve spoken to her about that, it has gotten better, and she’s doing great. Right now, there isn’t anything that we need her to do better on since she already has improved.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you’re open to lots of different calls for training because you want them to have the best training experience. They deserve to be trained in the best way, though I know that training someone over Zoom and email can be difficult.
Have patience for someone in a different time zone. Work on their schedule at first, so they feel confident and comfortable with your company. As long as you do that, they will grow exponentially and be adaptable with the company.

Web Design & SEO for Wedding Photography Company
"The ROI has been great."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Blue Spruce Photography, a wedding photography and videography company.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO?
A friend of mine had done my website several years ago, but when I wanted to make changes, I couldn’t figure out how to do it. I needed someone who knew WordPress and could help me out.
What was the scope of their involvement?
MCVO did updates to my WordPress website, helped with SEO, and built a blog for me. The website had been built in an unorthodox way, so they had to look back and see how it was built. For SEO, they’re doing keyword work and writing content.
What is the team composition?
I work primarily with a designer, and I also have a point person.
How did you come to work with MCVO?
They were recommended to me by the company that does my wedding albums for couples.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I’ve been working with them for 6–8 months now, and they’re still helping me with my SEO.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They got the website done on time, and it’s better than what I already had. It was a really good price and a good ROI. There’s a DJ who does well with SEO through her blog, so I sent MCVO a link to her page and they did a good job of following that lead.
How did MCVO perform from a project management standpoint?
We now communicate via email, but when we started, we had video calls. There’s a time difference, so if I want something right away, I have to email them first thing in the morning. The team is very quick to respond. I’ve never waited too long for correspondence, which is very important to me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The ROI has been great. For the quality of the work they’ve done, the price is good. I was also very impressed with their writing. I didn’t have to make many corrections.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve their billing. With most of my vendors, I’m able to pay by credit card, but with MCVO, I have to send a check. They mentioned that they’re looking into it.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust their skills. The team was able to see my vision and make it happen quickly.

Data Entry for Outsourced Accounting & Finance Company
"The communication with our account manager has been great."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We do outsourcing, accounting, and finance for mainly healthcare companies in Minnesota.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
Their team provides data entry services for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The data entry they’re doing involves entering bills into our purchasing system for two or three of our clients. As for onboarding, we trained them through video calls and documenting the process to help them get their work done.
What is the team composition?
I communicate with the owner every once in a while. In total, we probably work with four to six people, including my direct contacts and a data entry person.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
One of our owners had used them in the past. I believe he did an interviewing process, and then it took off from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $1,600 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We onboarded them in January 2020. Our contract is for a year, but we plan on extending it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In the beginning, there was a little hiccup, so they ended up switching the people that work on our account. Once that was straightened out, it has been smooth sailing for the last few months.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
Because of time differences, we mostly communicate with them through email. For the trainings, we met in the middle because of that time difference.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The communication with our account manager has been great. She gives frequent updates about changes. They’re always trying to improve the process to make things better and easier for everyone involved.
Are there any areas they could improve?
For the last six or seven months, it’s been working really well. The communication is now wonderful compared to where it was at the start.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them clear and concise documentation on how things are done.

"They have been easy to work with and easy to train."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the director of support for a data collection company. We collect immunization data for universities.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
The students submit their immunization records to our website and our MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services staff in the Philippines verify it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team inputs data into our system and they also make sure that the students are compliant with state and university requirements. MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services has a list of what is required so they can proceed with verification.
Some of them are also trained in our health science program right now and their tasks include reading and translating blood work, among other things. They work from 8am–5pm CT.
What is the team composition?
We work with 12 people.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
Our president was looking up several outsourcing companies and he came across MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services' great reviews. At that time, we were going back and forth between them and another company. However, when we saw that their services were amazing and really catered to what we needed, we decided to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent less than $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in August 2020, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services have been good about getting us who we need. All of their employees have been easy to work with and easy to train.
We have been monitoring their efficiency and they’re definitely better than people we’ve hired in the past. We are definitely keeping them around.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
We onboarded their verification team through Zoom. Mark (Co-Founder) and Cherry (CEO & Founder) facilitated it. I was in charge of training them directly. They are available through email, phone calls, and other resources.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their efficiency continues to impress us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think they have any areas they could improve, we wouldn’t be keeping them around otherwise.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a plan for implementation before jumping into it. Just know how to facilitate everything, especially on dealing with the timezone difference.

Photo QA for Merchandising Platform
"Overall, they do an amazing job of diving right in and trying to learn whatever is needed from them."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for a merchandising platform that serves primarily in the automotive sector. I am the VP of customer success here.
What challenge were you trying to address with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
They QA some of our images.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The majority of the time, our photos appear on dealership websites for car shoppers to engage with. MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services goes into a backend tool we provide them and they make adjustments so they show up in the feed that publishes to our dealer website.
They don’t edit our image but they make sure that the images we have are properly aligned on the websites where they are posted.
What is the team composition?
We primarily work with two people. The number of people we need depends on how many images we need to QA. We also work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services' manager and accounts receivable team for billing and other concerns.
How did you come to work with MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services?
They were referred to me.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working in July 2018, and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They deliver above and beyond what we expect them to do. They have been incredibly affordable considering the amount of work they do for us. Most of all, they deliver high-quality work. I've been blown away by how willing they were to work extra time if needed.
How did MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services perform from a project management standpoint?
They have a very good project management process. We work closely with our dealer partners and if something is not working, they definitely notice pretty quickly. It’s been very reassuring to have not heard a lot of negative feedback from our customers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their flexibility and can-do attitude impress us. MCVO Talent Outsourcing Services also has the willingness to try something different. Overall, they do an amazing job of diving right in and trying to learn whatever is needed from them.
They have been a friendly and fun team to work with. They have also been able to transition quickly to remote work despite COVID-19 challenges.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Honestly, we don’t think they have any areas they could improve. They do a great job for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Spend some time training them. I think that the team feels way better today than they first started because they understand what they need to do and what the impact of their work is.
We probably should do a better job of sharing some of the results and happiness our customers have been experiencing. I think that would probably be even more fulfilling for their team.

What is the team composition?
I work with one editor from their team, along with a project manager.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2019, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My turnaround time was originally six weeks, but now we’ve gotten it down to two weeks with their help. It makes my clients happy, which makes more work for us.
