BOCA
BOCA is the first dessert restaurant in Mexico City. Unlike traditional bakeries, Boca creates a unique sensory experience where the dish is the star of the day, and unlike traditional restaurants, Boca's menu includes exclusively desserts that invite us to relearn and rediscover the way we enjoy them.
The branding is present in the space from the first step given, from the logotype embedded in the pink concrete step at the entrance, to the shelves and walls of the restaurant. To make this possible without an invasive feeling, we created a logotype based on basic figures that blends naturally with interior design.
The graphic identity also includes carefree patterns of ink stains in golden finishes that reflect the creativity of the dishes and function as a complementary element within the restaurant, like in the shipping boxes that adorn the shelves.

Pipiris Fries
Pipiris Fries
Pipiris Fries is a dark kitchen in Mexico City,
one of the few places in the city where you
can get fries loaded with meat, chicken, and
cheeses. The founders wanted to create a
brand that captured the fun and eccentric
essence of their products, something that
accompanied and added a special touch to
the fries that, by themselves, make anyone
drool just by reading the menu.
"Pipiris Fries loaded with roast chicken breast
and bacon, topped with ranch dressing, scallions
and cheddar cheese." After reading this
description and wishing to have some Pipiris
already in our hands, we knew that we had to
create a unique universe around the brand,
although actually, this universe captured us
since the brand itself made us go back in time
and stop it. The only thing that mattered was to
enjoy the delicious fries that were in front of us.

Fonima Vol.3
Fonima seeks to dissolve the line between visuals and sound through rhythm, time and silence, to connect the audience with sensory and auditory experiences in an audiovisual concert that brings together musicians, animators and VJs, in a live session of visual and musical improvisation.
Organized by Casiopea and Rock Juvenil, the third edition of Fonima was transformed into a digital festival based in Mexico City, Torreón and Baja California, consisting of a series of workshops and discussions, an animated gifs contest and a virtual concert.
The main event took place in an interactive virtual world created in collaboration with Oxxxo Club, where musicians were presented live, accompanied by the VJ mixing of animated gifs inside a digital dome and a pavilion with the finalists’ gifs of the contest.

La selva
La Selva is a traditional Mexican food restaurant founded in 1976.
Combining tradition and elegance, the brand proposal adopts a rustic and free aesthetic that, contrasted by the print finishes, give the brand a premium touch.

Chilaritos
Chilaritos is a restaurant in Mexico City, specialized in a typical Mexican meal called "Chilaquiles", this popular food is elaborated with fried corn tortilla pieces and accompanied by spicy sauce and cheese.
For the visual identity of Chilaritos we took inspiration from Mesoamerican elements and Mexican pop culture to reinterpret them with a contemporary touch and thus generate our own language within the brand development that feels fun and casual.
The biggest challenge was to find a name that would make a direct allusion to the word "chilaquiles" without falling into one of the thousands of uses and variations that other restaurnats have given to this word, thus was born Chilaritos, a casual and fun version of the original word.

M.I.N.D
M.I.N.D. is a group of writers and actors who create, memorize, musicalize and perform sketches between social criticism and comedy without ever repeating a show. These sketches, elaborated by Grupo Bestias, were presented at La Teatrería in Mexico City.
The inspiration for this project is the mix of pieces that have nothing to do with each other to make them say something when they are together.
Under the idea of random concepts and nonsense, we translated this randomness into something funny, awkward, and uncomfortable that you can't stop watching. We achieve this through a selection of intense colors and visual elements that leave no one indifferent.

Forus
Forus is one of the leading digital private debt investment marketplaces for SMEs, individual and corporate investors in KSA. Registered and licensed by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA). The company has become an integral part of the Kingdom's economy and contributes to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
For this proposal, we worked on the brand elements such as the logo, typographic palette, color palette, and visual system with illustrations and 3d graphics. Our main goal was to create a visual language that inspires confidence in the public and feels casual to reduce the intimidating aspect that the investment world usually has. We proposed a friendly, simple, and sober illustration system to give an accessibility tone to the brand.

Núcleo
Núcleo is a beautiful apartment building at Cuauhtémoc Avenue in Mexico City. For this project, we worked on the brand design, logo, visual system, graphics, and applications, which were mainly stationery and editorial documents. The main concept of the design is to reflect the sober, calm, and structured lifestyle that is related to the building. All the graphics arise from the same idea inspired by the name: Nucleus, as the center of something; that is why in the graphics there are modules, circles, and different elements that are repeated reticularly from an imaginary "nucleus" as if they were expansive waves.

I purchased an existing yoga studio that was geared towards fitness. For the purchase we needed a new brand to reflect the new direction of the business and resonate with the existing community. We hired Manifesto for overall brand concept, logo, collateral, and initial advertising ideas.

I narrowed my search down to three agencies. I picked Manifesto based on the variety of their past clients, the range of design skills, and their creative uniqueness.

We had an initial meeting to discuss our goals and to confirm if we would be a good fit based on price, timeline, and skill set. We gave them the existing business info and shared what we needed to change, and what was going to stay the same for the physical space for the near term and we needed a brand that would be ok with the current design of the studio and would still serve us in 5+ years.
In addition to the logo with various color palates, we required image direction, and advertising examples that fit the brand.

We had the pleasure of working with Bernabe and Paolo.

They exceeded all of our expectations, from the overall end products to adjusting from our feedback during the process.

The team was very communicative and kept me informed the whole time. We never worried about the progress of the project. We used email, Teams, and WhatsApp to communicate and collaborate.

My previous experiences with branding companies has been varied, evidenced by I went looking for a new company. They quality of the proposals, and end products were wonderful and far beyond the monetary cost.

None that I can think of. We will use them again!
