I’m the solutions advisor at a large global IT business solutions and services firm. We do IT integrations and digital transformation work to modernize large enterprises.

I manage our innovation studio, a high-tech facility at our headquarters in Plano, Texas. We brought clients to the facility to showcase our capabilities and how new technologies and innovations can impact their business. We also brought them in for workshops to build prototypes and design enterprise solutions alongside them.

What challenge were you trying to address with MAG-RAW Creations?

When the pandemic hit, we could no longer bring clients into our facilities, so we embarked on a path of creating a virtual innovation studio that we could share with our clients through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other virtual channels. We wanted to share our story and showcase the innovations that we were doing in various industries.

We engaged with MAG-RAW Creations to help us build a digital tool so that we could engage with our clients at any time and from anywhere without having to physically bring them out to our Plano headquarters.

What was the scope of their involvement?

MAG-RAW created a full 3D model of our facility in Unity, a video game engine. It’s a fully interactive model in which we can embed content that is applicable to the conversations that we’re having with any particular client. We can also freely move to those pieces of content.

On top of that, they also created an imaginary environment. That way, if we’re dealing with a healthcare client, for example, we can show them what the hospital of the future might look like. We have models of imaginary environments to showcase some of the new and upcoming technologies and trends in the marketplace and show them what those might look like in a futuristic building.

What is the team composition?

There were three people working on this project. MAG-RAW is a pretty small company, and this was their first big project.

How did you come to work with MAG-RAW Creations?

I’d worked with Mitchell (Creative Technology Specialist, Co-Founder & CEO) before he founded MAG-RAW, and I was blown away by his work ethic. We were having lunch together one day and discussing ideas about the new way in which the world and companies like mine need to adapt to a client-free environment. It started out as a conversation and snowballed into all of these different things that we could do. I took those ideas to my superiors and got the approvals and funding to make them real.

When this project came on, it was a no-brainer about who I was going to work with. We were ecstatic to have them work with us and be part of their growth.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $130,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working on this project at the beginning of September 2020, and it was completed in January 2021. However, there are still some minor details we’re working on.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We weren't measuring quality in any kind of metric form — because it's a 3D environment (and essentially a video game), you have to really see it and experience it to determine its value. We have shown this to even our largest clients; in fact, we've already shown it to our single largest client. This product is going in front of multi-billion dollar organizations — that speaks volumes by itself.

The fact that they could assemble and create this virtual world in four months, and have it ready to go in front of some of the largest companies in the world, is mind-blowing — it’s something to be extremely proud of.

How did MAG-RAW Creations perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication between us and MAG-RAW was really great. They were extremely responsive and easy to work with. We had a weekly cadence on calls, and they were also extremely responsive through email. They were very thoughtful in how to approach challenges as they came up, as well as very willing to make adjustments from the demands of our side that would typically come up at the last second or out of the blue.

For project management, I used my own templates and tools to report to my superiors. I don’t know what tools they used on their end.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Mitchell’s creativity and work ethic were incredible. His ability to bring the ideas discussed during our brainstorming sessions to life through visual means and the tools that he had at his disposal were fascinating. He also did this in a very efficient and rapid manner.

MAG-RAW was very good at identifying and fixing any challenges as they came along. They took criticism well, and they were very quick to adapt to make sure that those challenges wouldn't occur again. There are a lot of benefits to working with MAG-RAW, and that’s why I’ll continue to go back to them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

MAG-RAW is a growing startup. We were along this journey with them, and there have been a lot of learnings that we picked throughout the project. As they grow and acquire new skills, there’s not a single area that I would say they need to put more effort into. We’ll continue to have projects with them, and they’ll continue to learn, adapt, and adjust. My only advice is for them to continue to grow.

Any advice for potential customers?

If you go in with a clear goal, they do a great job of bringing you various ways of accomplishing it. That’s what they did for us. We presented a challenge, and they offered different feasible ways to accomplish that challenge.

Just make sure you have your challenge or goal defined, and they’ll do a great job at filling in the rest.

We are a UAV ('drone') service company focused on large-scale mapping and industrial inspections.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted our website to be simple and clean, but clearly describe our business.

We met Mitch and his team through an entrepreneurial cohort we participated in. MAG-RAWs team was professional in all aspects.

After just one face to face meeting with the MAG-RAW team, they had a clear understanding of the direction we wanted to go with our website.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very pleased with the outcome of our website. MAG-RAW exceeded our expectations in all aspects - Creativity, Design and Execution. We now have a site we are proud to share with our clients and community.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The MAG-RAW team was very responsive from beginning to end of the project. They kept the process moving forward in a positive and productive way. Mitch and his team are consummate professionals.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

MAG-RAW did not push us to use their preferred website building software nor did they try to push us to purchase an ongoing hosting contract. They not only built a fantastic site for, they enabled our team to maintain it.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I honestly have never worked with a more enjoyable and professional creative team!

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of Rising Tide Initiative, a non-profit wish a mission to help entrepreneurial start-up and scalable businesses achieve success. We do that through our FORT program, a six-month free program for local businesses.

For what projects/services did your company hire MAG-RAW Creations?

Mag-Raw donated a minute long video showcasing each of our current cohort participants. Mag-Raw worked with ten individual companies, creating a fantastic video for each. Each video helped tell the story of the entrepreneur as well as the vision of RTI.

What were your goals for this project?

Create a way to showcase what RTI is doing, while helping our cohort members showcase themselves and their product or service. We also wanted to showcase the expertise of Mag-Raw and Dallas Audio Post, both whom donated all services for free to help us out. Our goals are to have these on our website, provide the links to potential donors and show other potential cohort members the success of RTI

How did you select this vendor?

We were introduced to Mag-Raw through another start-up entity. Mag-Raw is also currently participating in our current cohort. However, I want it to be clear, that is donation of these videos was neither expected nor requested. This was a tremendous offer by Mag-Raw and done purely altruistically.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

Mag-Raw spent time via email, phone, and in-person meetings with each company, getting to know them, their product or service, and their passion. He worked with me to create questions for each entity to answer that would best showcase that entity and RTI. They went out of their way to schedule multiple session days to handle all our cohort members, taking their personal time on weekends to accomplish this.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Mag-Raw worked through the process with each entity, and provided links to RTI to view beta videos before release. They always ensured to verify and double-check that the final video scope had not changed from the original intent.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Just look on facebook and youtube! Our cohort members are over the moon and sharing the videos. When I saw the first ones, I was blown away. The expertise in crafting the videos was amazing. Mag-Raw gave as much attention to us and our cohort members as if we had paid a premium price, which they are well worth.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We never experienced any issues in maintaining contact, verifying status and messaging, or in agreeing on the finished product.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their values. Their dedication to their craft and providing the best quality product possible impressed us. Their belief in giving back.

They remain in contact throughout the process to ensure we knew what was happening and where we were in the whole process. Deadlines were clearly defined and met. It was a super smooth process with a team of experts who made us feel great about the whole process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Everyone who has seen the video has been highly impressed with the quality of the production. We have only had positive reviews about it!

This team was one of the easiest teams we have ever worked with. I couldn't have asked for a more responsive team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We really appreciated the attention to detail from the team in the making of our short video. As someone who hates being in front of the camera, they made it as painless as possible and I was super happy with the final production!

For what projects/services did your company hire MAG-RAW Creations?

We hired MAG-RAW to do a short video that we could use for promotional purposes and informative marketing campaigns.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to come up with substantial answers to some important questions that supported both Curb Your Nature and The Rising Tide Initiative (RTI), a non-profit, entrepreneurship-focused business providing assistance to Fort Worth start-up companies and small businesses.

How did you select this vendor?

Along with us and 11 other companies, MAG-RAW was a member of FORT002, the second cohort of sponsored and organized by RTI . We worked closely together and they showed what they could do for us, which was amazing.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They prepared our event with a high level of detail and expectations. We were given multiple dates and times that more that accomodated our needs and when we had to change our first appointment, they were quick to help with new dates and times.

On the day of the shoot, they had the location prepared with two company representatives and all their equipment ready to go. We put up our custom banners and props and shot away. They were extremely professional and very experienced in dealing with someone who was not comfortable in front of the camera, making in easy to get what we needed.

What was the team composition?

Their team consisted of Mitch Grigerek, the Co-Founder and CEO as well as one of their expert technicians.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a big success in our eyes. We were handed an expert, high-level product that we will be able to use in multiple areas of marketing and company briefings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project was very organized and the communication was top-notch. We had no problems or delays other than our own.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

MAG-RAW was exactly what we hoped for...a professional company that put our priorities first and they went above and beyond for our needs to be met. We enjoyed working with them and will use them again for future projects.
