Advertising Agency in Fort Collins, Colorado
When we founded Madwire® in mid 2009 there was this great divide between SAAS based marketing software companies and full-service marketing agencies and there really wasn't anyone that did both well. That's when we made the commitment to become the kind of marketing company we believed everybody was waiting for... a software and service hybrid (SaSH)... a master of both domains! In doing this, our mission was to provide world-class digital marketing software and highly skilled professional marketing services through a single, powerful, integrated platform. Mission accomplished. Now our goal is to stay #1.

I am the managing member of the company, I'm in charge of day to day operations.
For what projects/services did your company hire Madwire?
Develop and scale our advertising and marketing efforts.
What were your goals for this project?
To increase sales.
How did you select this vendor?
Though online research and several meetings.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
To provide full advertising services for our brand.
What was the team composition?
James - one account rep.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Complete and utter failure. They over charged me, didn't provide services and complete projects and by their own admission have kept $7,700 of my money and $1,100 in samples.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their workflow was slow, cumbersome, and ineffective. No follow through. They couldn't even set up simple SEO on the site that they built. It was supposed to be completed in September, and was still not completed by November when we terminated their contract.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They're ability to sell themselves and mis-represent past performances.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Truth in advertising and accountability. They only respond to use when we dispute the charges. Their attorney Brian told my attorney he was going to return our samples and possibly the unused $7,700 he charged us - but he has not responded to us since January 2020.
Stakeholders are disappointed as they did not receive certain services they were charged for. The vendor's lack of transparency and unresponsive communication has fostered further distrust. Ultimately, stakeholders terminated the contract.
