We are small but pretty strong and rapidly developing team, so we wanted to create another iGaming brand with an extremely comfortable UI/UX design for our customers. Our goal was to have a modern, user-friendly website.

First of all, you need to work hard from your side and prepare a great task for the team. After it is done just send it over and discuss all unclear questions via Skype call or any other method. Wait for it! Done! You got a great design with small things that does not suit you. Call once again, discuss new details and in a short period, you will get perfect and clear design.

My team worked with the strongest LooksGreat.Studio designer Pavel.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design is not live yet for customers so we didn't get any feedback now.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was pretty easy. If you have any questions just ping them on any messenger and get a deal for a call. Done!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing that we found is that you just need to prepare a good and clear task for this team and won't find any stupid questions and situations. P.s.: Prepare your tasks as much detailed as you can!!!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some operation areas that we have changed while working with this team but LooksGreatStudio immediately made changes in their method of work to be comfortable for us.

I am Founder and CEO of a back office for freelancers. We're helping appointment led professionals to manage their clients, invoicing, taxes and work at one place.

We've contracted with LooksGreat for developing a new version of our website together with site map.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've been following LooksGreat from they launch. They have developed couple of projects for other startups in our place and we really enjoyed those projects. We've decided to give them a try with our project.

We've send to LooksGreat request for proposal with the description of scope of works. After couple of calls we have agreed on final scope and sign the contract. On the kick-off meeting we had zoom video chat where we shake our hands. After one wee of the kick-off date we launch the project.

We have worked with 2 people and and the CEO of LooksGreat. The most nice thing is that CEO itself was involved in every deliverable. He is very smart guy with years of experience in design and project delivery.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As of today we see the much higher conversion to trials and higher engagement on the website. Our cost of new trial is decreased by 40% if comparing with the previous version.

We've used separate board in Jira and work communication in Slack. As we were working on the contract base, it was easy to discuss and align our progress on weekly calls with the team.

People. The whole team is really nice, very supportive, and professional. They are always having couple of solutions under the table in case we are struggling with the decision.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Grow the team. That would be lovely to see them as our partners again in the future.

We had a task to redesign completely the product of interface, worked through the entire UX / UI of all product functionality.

The LOOKSGREAT team conducted a deep analysis of the functionality of our product and competitors. After that, we designed detailed wireframes that allowed us to build all the functionality of the product and transfer it to the UI.

We can highlight the high speed of communication, the team reacted to all changes promptly and always found the solutions. All proposed solutions were performed at a professional level and required a minimum of edits, which greatly accelerated our work.

Their team offers unique solutions that help us look at problems from a different perspective and find a great solution. Thanks to the big experience of the team, we were able to get a better result than we expected.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Thanks to a well-designed UX/UI, we increased the conversion in the use of products, which led to an increase in MMR by 70%.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In general, we are satisfied. We don't know what they should improve in their work.

We turned to the studio for UI / UX design and to develop an information web portal for different age categories.

According to these criteria, we identified a few participants, one of them was this studio, which came up the most. The search was carried out on creative networks such as Dribble and Behance. Basically I communicated with Pavel, the Head of Design and project manager Alina. Alina provided us with information about timelines, sprints, general scope of work and cost. Pavel developed a general concept for the design of the web site and led part of the design of the entire site, work with content (textual and visual), and supervised the work of designers in the studio

As a result of cooperation the traffic of users has increased in several times and we received a lot of positive feedback from the users of the product. It was our first priority.

The team responded quickly and on time. Communication was via Slack. Tasks were conducted in Notion

We wanted to use 3D objects, but the studio does not work in 3D

I am not sure about exact amount of people, who were working on the project. But the project manager obviously did a great job and lead developer acted as our primary points of contact throughout the process.

Our previous website was in desperate need of an overhaul. The new site is responsive and looks great on mobile. The inclusion of social media feeds enhances and modernizes the UX. The hosted forms minimize the need to go a landing page in order to complete a form and the new demo fields allows users to input their email address straight to us. They were vital in streamlining calls to action on the site, which we appreciated.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly calls to address problems, clarify questions, and receive updates. It would have been helpful to have a standing call on the same day and time each week, which we could cancel if there was nothing to discuss.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They’re easy to work with. When we didn't have a clear idea of what we wanted, they came up with proposals that gave us exactly what we needed.

No. We’ve enjoyed working with them.

Tourservice is a travel company. The main task is to open work, business and tourist visas to different countries of the world. Also we offer tourist trips all over the world. I’m the director and main travel agent. The first office was opened in Lviv but now we work in Kyiv and Kharkiv

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the product manager of the company. We’re a retailer of cosmetics to different beauty studios located in Kyiv, Ukraine. We have seven people in charge of different processes within the company, but we mostly conduct our business through social media. I’m the main contact and I manage the others.

What challenge were you trying to address with LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO?

We needed someone to design our website and do our branding. To be specific, we had a logo, but it was something that we created on our own.

What was the scope of their involvement?

LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO created our entire branding, which includes our brand book and everything that involved our visual representation. They also designed our website from scratch. One of our requests at that time was to make our platform user-friendly.

We started off with a meeting with their project manager to discuss our needs since I wasn't a technical expert. They came back a week later with their offer and pricing so that I could choose exactly what we needed. 

What is the team composition?

There were two people involved, including the project manager who was really good at communicating my ideas and requests to the other team members. I only met the designer a few times to explain all the visual things we wanted.

How did you come to work with LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO?

I found their portfolio and one of my friends had worked with them before. When I started looking for a vendor for my company, there were two main factors influencing my decision, including the visual aspect of their work and their trustworthiness.

LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO’s aesthetic was very progressive and I loved their style. In addition, my friend spoke highly of LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO’s communication skills and adherence to timelines.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $5,000–$7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from March–November 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their work helped us a lot. Our main channel of communication with our potential clients was Instagram. Within three months of having our website, I saw a rise in metrics, number of requests, and total revenue.

Additionally, everything became user-friendly and people from other industries who tested the site said so. On top of that, everything was clear. One year later, our site continued to perform great — I wouldn't change a thing about it.

How did LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO perform from a project management standpoint?

They were responsive. Whenever I had a request or wanted a change, they were super nice about it. They always provided us with advice and options to choose from.

Furthermore, they were very flexible and never tried to persuade me that something only had one way of being done. We used Jira, but only for general tasks, and we spoke over emails, Google Meet, and Facebook Messenger.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I loved them because of how cool their work was. Overall, I really appreciated their visual concepts.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their pricing was a bit higher than I expected, but I didn’t have any issues with that because the results were worth it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible vendor. LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO will listen to them and will not give them overpriced services. Above all, LOOKSGREAT.STUDIO is able to deliver quality results.

Develop E-commerce marketplace for sale and repair of Apple technic devices with a simple and convenient interface. Website was creating from the begening.

We were looking for a studio to develop the design of website and software together for the good price, suitable functionality and programming languages.

With the team from the studio we worked in Figma graphic editor. Firstly we created a prototype of a site, corrected the details, then the designers from the studio drew the interface. Work correspondence was conducted in Slack After the design stage, the layouts were transferred for programming. The programming phase was internal in the studio, we only approved the live interface.
