Burger King India
One of the world's largest quick service restaurant, Burger King wanted to expand its digital footprints in India. With more than 300 outlets and millions of orders every day, they aimed at developing a futuristic app for online food ordering. Lollypop helped Burger King develop an app that could accelerate their digital journey and be the key strategic asset to the growth plan. We designed a responsive app and website that resonates with the brand's quirky personality & that facilitates customers with seamless online food ordering. Some really interesting features such as build your own whopper, book a party, gamification elements, etc. helped elevate the overall experience.

myVI App
Two of the world's largest telecom companies Vodafone & Idea merged to cater to the needs of 1 billion telecom users in India. This led to the evolution of a new brand VI, with a commitment to uplift & transform the telecom experience in India.
Lollypop's biggest challenge was to understand the uncertain & volatile telecom market and its unique complexities, simplifying user's digital experience being a major one. A bad experience at any touch-point can cause customer attrition and thus loss of business.
Our task was to overhaul the entire digital branding while glorifying the merger of the two global brands. It was imperative to craft a seamless digital experience through a mobile app that would enable a seamless transition of users from the existing apps of the two brands.

Flashhouse | Online House Selling Application
Flashhouse is an online home selling platform that targets to deliver a seamless digital experience to the house sellers while eliminating all the bottlenecks. They are on a mission to simplify home selling and relieve the stress and uncertainty that comes with selling a home.
One of the biggest challenges for Flashhouse was to amplify the confidence of the users regarding the online house selling phenomenon. The second challenge for them was to craft a platform that collects right and adequate information from users at once, thereby eliminating the complicated process of verifying and reverifying the data.

Paytm Money | Enabling India to Invest in Mutual Fund
PayTm Money is an online platform for mutual funds investment and a wholly own subsidiary of Paytm. It intends to provide users with a fully digital investing experience that's intuitive, assistive, and hassle-free. Indian masses have been recently introduced to a cashless economy and still hold reservations with online transactions, hence, less than 1.5% of the population invest online.
Though there were several challenges, we consider defining the right content structure that provides users with the answers to every question within a few seconds was among the hardest. Our research laid out clear frustrations with the KYC and hence we had to ensure that we could solve this very intelligently with all legalities in place. Finally, we had to live up to the expectation of the parent Paytm brand to ensure continued trust and support from over a billion user group.

Mission Bio | A revolution in DNA Analysis
The biggest challenge for us was to understand the subtleties of the niche segment within Bio-Technology that Mission Bio practised in. Secondly, we had to heavily rely on the inputs received from our clients, as we didn't get direct access to the actual users.
Another challenge for us was to keep the data visualization interfaces extremely intuitive and devoid of clutter to empower the end-users for making quick and informed decisions.

Mobile design
Grades Don’t Matter is an alternative education platform and is conceptualized with an aim to bridge the gap between ‘degrees’ and ‘skills’. The app provides in-depth learning from the legends themselves for 30 odd careers and is divided in a three-phased approach for ease of learning.

UX UI for Web App
Deccan Herald is an English daily newspaper in the Indian state of Karnataka and has been considered among the top 10 most widely read English newspapers in India. It strives to keep itself abreast with the technology keeping users and quality at the center and hence they approached us.
Since we wanted to build a scalable design and ensure that the look and feel of the platform always stayed fresh without posing a challenge to the company, we froze upon bringing in the unified design in play.

UX & UI for Web, Android App
PocketBits is a cryptocurrency trading platform, that makes buying and selling easy. Lollypop was approached to build mobile and web app for them that embedded trust among the Indian citizens. Our aim was to help PocketBits' technology with an interactive and immersive platform that provided investing solutions to the Indian customer base.

UX UI for Web App
Pixm detects the phishing emails at an early stage with the use of cutting-edge computer vision technology and stops these attacks within one second. The software integrates with the device and the browser keeping the users protected at all times.
Our focus here was to identify and highlight the strengths, uniqueness, and advantages of Pixm software.

UX, UI for Web app
PS Group is one of the most renowned brands in Realty space with a pan India presence. They have been in business for over 3 decades and are always open to embrace new technology and trends. They approached us with multiple concerns, major being the ability to reduce the bounce rate from their website.
The whole design is extremely interactive with a lot of micro-interactions in place; this was done to ensure increased user engagement and to grip the user’s attention. The website is made image heavy to give the real-life experience to users with pictures of various completed and ongoing projects. Users can view project snippets on a carousel and the one which peeks their interest can be selected to gain an in-depth understanding.

UX UI for Android App
Climate Corp is a multinational agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation helping large and small-scale farmers all over the world by increasing their profitability through yield enhancements and proposing sustainable farming solutions.
The client approached Lollypop with the agenda of augmenting the user experience and further develop the feature capabilities of one of their Android application called FarmRise. This app was conceptualized to help the Indian farmer community optimize their resources and maximize their yields and profits by utilizing the information and attributes provided on the app.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Woofys. We’re a social network startup for pets.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
We were looking for a UI/UX partner because we were entering a completely new space. Our team brought them on to create the whole platform so it’d be accessible to users.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I came to Lollypop Design Studio with my idea, but I still wanted to conceptualize it further. We started with user groups and understanding the requirements of our target audience. Based on that, then we conceptualized the entire platform. We created the user flow and user journey.
Eventually, we moved onto the UI. The development of the platform was done by a third-party agency. However, Lollypop Design Studio helped with the frontend development at times. They oversaw the quality of the frontend coding.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 2–5 team members over the duration of the engagement.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
I heard about them through word of mouth. I was considering other agencies as well but ultimately selected Lollypop Design Studio.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested between $15,000–$25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project was from May 2017–January 2018.

Their team stayed within the timelines and maintained communication. What's more, they were transparent with us. As a startup, we had regular changes and Lollypop Design Studio was always accommodating and helpful.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They were always on track with project management. Their team delivered on time and communicated with us. They’d sometimes communicate very early in the morning. Lollypop Design Studio never missed deadlines; they were always on time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We liked that the project was a team effort. It wasn’t as if Lollypop Design Studio was an outside party. They felt like they were a part of my team. They were helpful with everything they did.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they performed very well. Looking back, I wouldn’t do anything differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a streaming platform. It’s an application that helps users find the shows and movies they want.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
I wanted to rebuild a platform for users that had all the flair and necessities to engage users.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We engaged their researchers and UX designers, who collaborated with our small team. They designed the wireframes and then the UI for the website and application. The UI process is currently ongoing. They gave us plenty of insight into how to engage an audience through wireframing and adding extra elements to the platform.
What is the team composition?
There were project managers that coordinated their team. There are 5-6 people on our account, including a researcher, UX designers, project managers, and developers.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
We did some research for the best UI/UX designers in India. I came across a couple of options including Lollypop Design Studio. We looked at their past work and saw they were working with someone within our network. We went ahead with them because of their experience.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2020, and the project is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were invested in our idea and had experience working in OTT. Their previous research on the topic provided us with insights into the field. They were timely whenever we asked for a report or redesign of the interface. The designs have come out really well.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a weekly call where we review the designs they share with us. We discuss the development work they’ve done already. Based on our feedback, they make adjustments to their work within about a week. If we have changes needed, we immediately call the project managers. They’re prompt.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re extremely professional, often reworking designs immediately. Typically, they return to us with a better outcome than expected.
Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m the co-founder of goDutch, a fintech group expense platform that helps people manage their group expenses. It’s an end-to-end app. Users can keep track of their expenses within the app itself and we allow them to do peer-to-peer collaboration within the app.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
We are a very millennial-focused app. We needed professional help with the UI design so that users would have a really good experience on the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did all of the UI design for our app. We did the UX on our side. Our app is like a WhatsApp format where people can interact and also split expenses at the same time. They have really interesting ideas on how they can really revamp the chat interaction part of it.
What is the team composition?
I worked with the project manager and 3-4 people on the design side.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
I looked up a couple of organizations in Mumbai. We liked the kind of energy that the team at Lollypop Design Studio had.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost of the project was about $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from around April–July 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched the app at the beginning of July. The first thing I heard from the users is that they are loving the UI. They’ve done a really good job for me. It was all remotely done because of COVID-19. Our team and their team did a phenomenal job collaborating and implementing it.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very organized. My co-founder and I both worked with them. The project manager was very organized. He always ensured that they would deliver by the timeline. We used Google Hangouts, Zoom, Google Drive, Trello, Excel Sheets, etc.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have worked with clients from all kinds of industries. Their team has cross-industry knowledge. They’re able to merge that knowledge with the technical skill to implement it. They merged their consumer knowledge and fintech app knowledge into this project. They automated this entire thing so well. They’re really experienced and take a hands-on approach. They actively took our feedback again and again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing I’d have them improve. It’s been so good with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Actively communicate your requirements to them.

UX Design for Wealth Management Mobile App
"They put their hearts into our project."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a product manager at a wealth management company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
Our market is crowded with a lot of mutual fund investment platforms, so people tend to assume that we’re a mutual fund platform. We’re an investment platform and want clients to invest with us. We wanted to reach out to people and have them know that we do financial planning. We wanted to develop an MVP that we could test in the market to convey our message clearly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lollypop Design Studio helped us develop an MVP of a mobile app. They created the UX but didn't manage frontend development. Their team understood our problem statement well, crafting an interesting game to convey our idea in the market. The idea behind our product was to share that decisions—for comfort or for sacrifice— must be made throughout one’s life. We didn’t have time to reach out to focus groups for testing because we needed to get the product out to see the reaction.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four people closely. Their team included a UX designer, a UI designer, and a couple of other individuals.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
I reached out to 10–15 other design agencies and found them through searches for UX/UI partners. One of the project's constraints was delivery time because we wanted to get the product into the market fast. Lollypop Design Studio was able to meet that need.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together on this project between June—July 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app has been live for six months, so we’ve shown it to clients who have given their feedback. Their team was helpful during the first iteration of the platform, providing good designs. While we iterate on the product constantly, we’re happy with the UX. I give them five stars for UX but for UI, I give them four stars. We misread our target audience, so the product has evolved from where it started. We’re more into financial content and advisory rather than directly advisory solutions, so that’s not Lollypop Design Studio’s fault. Their team was helpful during the first iteration.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was quite great. Towards the end of the project, they came to our office. We gave our feedback right there and sent their designs to our tech team, which started developing them. I would’ve preferred if senior resources had more of an eye on it because the lead designer’s eyes weren’t completely on the UI.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They put their hearts into our project. Despite our time constraints, they went beyond what was asked of them. Their team came up with suggestions and shot down ideas that weren’t going to work well for us. They were straightforward and had clear reasons behind their ideas, which we appreciated.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was a lack of senior resources.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s imperative to find the best project manager for you, particularly with Lollypop Design Studio, which understands the why behind a project. We were lucky to work with the UX designer who was on our project.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Udaan is a B2B e-commerce platform based in India. We work with retailers and manufacturers to solve trade-related issues.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design?
It was primarily user research. Our activity requires specific problem solving, and we needed to be closer to our users to understand how they would behave and respond to the workflows we were creating.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Lollypop Design’s research team went out and met our users to collect data points around specific problem statements. Then, they synthesized that data and provided us with insights and strategies to solve them.
Most of the work is in an advisory capacity currently. We have started exploring some aspects of UX with Lollypop Design, but there’s nothing formalized as of now. They’re a very accommodating team, and they sometimes even help us formulate the problem statements.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 8–10 people from Lollypop Design so far, including some who’ve left the team. I work with a project manager.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design?
They’re known for UX/UI design in India. We evaluated a bunch of agencies, but Lollypop did a good job with the problem statement we gave them.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost so far has been around 60 lakh Indian rupees ($84,830 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them off and on, but the start of the collaboration was about a year ago. It’s an ongoing relationship based on a retainer model.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback’s been pretty good so far. The only challenge is that, as an external agency, it takes them a lot of time to get vendor feedback. We’re trying to work on the knowledge transfer process with them.
How did Lollypop Design perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always available for calls. Most of the deliverables are on time, and they’re quite transparent about the work they’re doing. The team is quite committed. It’s easy to reach out to them.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their people are quite committed, especially the researcher I’m working with. Overall, I got the sense that they want us to succeed and to contribute value to our company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They have some staff turnover, but that happens in an agency setup. Lollypop Design does make it a point to have the knowledge transfer happen before the person leaves. Therefore, there are no abrupt changes.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d definitely tell them to give them a try. I don’t have any specific advice.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the product manager at an IT and data solutions company founded in 2016. We offer an enterprise decision-making platform that provides sales teams with valuable insights.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
My company was new and lacked UI/UX design experience. We’d hired another design agency prior to Lollypop Design Studio, but their work didn’t match our expectations. We wanted to offer a user experience that would give us a competitive edge in the market. We also wanted a demo to show customers that our product was world-class.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we started the collaboration with Lollypop Design Studio, we were already in development. We omitted any discovery or early design stages because we had time constraints. Lollypop Design Studio helped us design the platform’s screens, including the ones that were already in existence. We worked iteratively over the next couple of months.
What is the team composition?
We work full-time with a UI designer and a UX designer. They also assigned a project manager, but they’re not involved in the entire process.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
A colleague referred Lollypop Design Studio to my company. We wanted to ensure the agency we hired was highly skilled in the design industry and could help us build a great platform.
How much have you invested with them?
My company is spending $8,000–$10,000 per month on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Lollypop in November 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve garnered good feedback on the UI/UX designs. Lollypop Design Studios has been able to take our requirements and deliver on time. They’ve helped us provide a more user-friendly platform to our clients.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform okay, but there’s room for improvement. We work remotely and have daily contact with the UI and UX designers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The design skills they’ve brought to our team are really good.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Lollypop has improved in terms of communication in the last 3–4 months. For the first 1–2 years of our engagement, communication and project management weren’t great. I don’t have any outstanding feedback for them.

Frontend Web Dev & UX/UI Design for Biotech Firm
"They guided us through the design process and delivered an outstanding product."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am a software architect at a biotech startup called Mission Bio. We are a single-cell DNA analysis company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Lollypop Design Studio?
We hired Lollypop Design Studio to manage the frontend development and UI/UX design of two web applications, along with a redesign of our desktop application.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I was initially drawn to Lollypop Design Studio because of their well-defined process, which they described in our early meetings. They prefer to conduct a discovery session before defining the deliverable, creating designs, and then ultimately developing it.
For our products, they gathered requirements by speaking with us and some of our customers. That research drove the creation of basic wireframes that showed us the first elements of our web applications. We went through several iterations until we decided on a version that we liked. Lollypop Design Studio then delivered high-fidelity wireframes—clickable mock-ups that we could use to navigate from one screen to the next. Once we signed off, they began their development work.
The first web application serves as a portal for our users to access our other web applications. The second web app allows users to submit their information and view results from within the browser. We relied on Lollypop Design Studio for the frontend development and the UI/UX design of those products. We also asked them to redesign the user interface of our existing desktop application, as it had become quite cluttered as we added features over time.
What is the team composition?
Lollypop Design Studio dedicated one project manager, one UI designer, and one UX designer to our project. They also incorporated two frontend developers, but I didn’t work with them directly.
How did you come to work with Lollypop Design Studio?
Their company name came up in several discussions I had with colleagues while searching for a quality UI/UX firm. I reviewed their website and portfolio, and I was encouraged by what I found.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $75,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July–December 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have received a lot of positive feedback from our internal users and our customers regarding the designs of the web applications. We anticipate launching the redesigned desktop application in April 2019, but we’ve already received promising feedback on that design as well from our internal team.
How did Lollypop Design Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
Our primary constraint was that we couldn’t meet in person because we’re in different countries, but we worked well together despite that challenge. We held twice-weekly meetings to provide status updates and gather feedback. Lollypop Design Studio used Trello, and the project manager was thoroughly communicative.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their UI/UX design turned out much better than we expected. They guided us through the design process and delivered an outstanding product. Lollypop Design Studio took the time to understand our requests, and it shows in their final deliverables.
Further, I appreciated the dedication they showed toward our project. One of their UX designers traveled from India to California to work in our office full-time, and she spoke to our customers and some internal team members to gather all of the project requirements.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t care for Trello as a project management tool as I find it difficult to use. Also, we could have benefitted from earlier reviews of the code that Lollypop Design Studio produced. We discovered a few issues in the code that could have been fixed if we had access to it as the code was being developed, as opposed to seeing it at the very end.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d highly recommend Lollypop Design Studio. They provide excellent UI/UX designs. I’d advise future customers to take the time to understand the process and how their team works. And I’d also urge them to consider what kind of contract or payment structure makes the most sense for their company because Lollypop Design Studio offers several options.
The partner is happy with the final deliverables and execution of the overall project. Lollypop Design Studio was a true partner and worked collaboratively to make the platform as best as it could be. They met all deadlines, fostered transparency, and were flexible to scope changes.
