ATLAS WORKBASE CASE STUDY
ATLAS Workbase is Seattle’s newest coworking space, and WeWork’s #1 competitor in the area. Located in South Lake Union, a block away from Amazon and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this is ATLAS Workbase’s first location of many.

Aldaris CPA Group offers Certified Public Accountant services with a personalized touch in the Seattle, Washington area. They engage with their clients at any time throughout the year, not just during tax season, in order to be involved in every facet of a business’s evolution or an individual’s short or long term goals. Aldaris also provides accounting and bookkeeping services for businesses with no internal accounting staff, part-time controller/CFO services, personal financial management, and credit management.

Hobanco is an internal project of Logic Inbound. Created and managed by Logic Inbound co-owner Nick Jordan, Hobanco is an e-commerce provider of impressive and affordable knives. The company itself was established in 2000 as a vendor of high quality knives. Logic Inbound began its SEO campaign for Hobanco in September of 2017.
Logic Inbound set out to compile a strategy that would allow Hobanco to rank higher on Google than other suppliers of knives. If the sales of Hobanco were to reach the desired amount, then more views and sessions needed to occur on Hobanco’s website.
Results

For what projects/services did your company hire Logic Inbound, and what were your goals?
We were starting from scratch and we hired Logic Inbound for SEO, website and Google Ads. Our goal was to focus on building a site that will get a lot of organic search and so we wanted to find a company that has a lot of expertise.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I must've talked to 10+ agencies, some specialize in medical and others are generalists. From these conversations, Logic Inbound was the standout. They knew their stuff and were able to communicate clearly. A lot of companies will put you through layers and layers of account managers who know very little, and any specific questions about SEO or PPC have to be "passed on to team X." For us, it was important to work directly with people know have expertise. In addition, they work with a lot of transparency and clearly knows the medical domain.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
They helped us make our website and made sure that the website is optimized for SEO. They are also helping us with ongoing SEO work (content creation, link building). They also set up our Google ad campaigns and are responsible for testing and optimizing dollars spent. Finally, it is very important for us to be able to track everything and they have worked meticulously to teach us what tools are available to us for tracking and integrate those tools. And so we are able to track conversion.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We've worked with 4 people. Two of the founders, one web developer, and one account manager. My point of contact is one of the founders, who always respond quickly and thoughtfully to my questions.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to build a fully-customized website in a short period of time and items were delivered on time. Our SEO and PPC are ongoing, but even in this stage, the metrics are promising. For instance, the speed of our website is already really fast and we got calls on day 1 of running ads. One very important thing I want to highlight is the "non-tangible" deliverables. Logic Inbound has spent a lot of time training us on SEO and so we have gained a great deal of SEO knowledge in the process. As a result, we are able to do some of the SEO work in-house, saving us quite a bit of money.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have weekly meetings and a shared document to keep track of workflow. Logic is responsive on email and has always made time for us if we wanted to have an impromptu meeting about whatever topic that's popped up.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a tremendous amount of SEO knowledge and are very results-driven. This is not common: most companies shy away from telling you how they ought to be measured (perhaps due to poor deliverables), but Logic Inbound embraces ROI and wants their clients to succeed.

Hayk made sure that our migration ran smoothly. They were super professional and reassuring. The team was assertive, and they weren’t intimidated by the work. Lastly, they conducted a Google Ads audit to identify the best areas of improvement from my previous campaigns. I appreciate that they’re results-oriented and focused on the bottom line.

I am the general manager of the ecommerce side of the business.
For what projects/services did your company hire Logic Inbound?
I wanted to invest in our SEO capabilities as a part of our broader marketing strategy. While we did see a lot of success with our paid marketing, I began seeing some degradation in our paid marketing performance. I knew that I didn't want the company to grow exclusively via paid marketing. I knew we needed to invest in organic discovery and SEO but did not know how to do it. SEO is definitely something everyone knows but very few non-marketing people know how to execute. I wanted to hire experts to help my company out.
What were your goals for this project?
I focused on two things: I wanted an agency that could come in, analyze the situation and execute against the plan. I also wanted a team that would explain the "why" behind their strategies. While I was going to lean on the experts to do their jobs, I also wanted to work with a team that could teach me about SEO. I wanted a partner that was willing to share their expertise and not worry about keeping their techniques and thinking in a black box.

I worked primarily with one main point of contact. To streamline processes and workstreams, I mainly dealt with one contact. The other team members would join or answer any questions that my main POC could not answer directly.

After working with Logic Inbound, we saw improvements in organic search rankings on some of most targeted keywords. Continuous improvements in our on page SEO along with steady content creation helped our steady growth in organic search results over time.

The line of communication between both teams was good. Keeping a running tracking document along with weekly syncs kept everyone on the same page and kept projects on track.

I’m the owner of Junk B Gone and 99 Junk Removal.
What challenge were you trying to address with Logic Inbound?
We were having issues appearing consistently on the first page for organic searches. Similarly, we weren’t appearing on map listings in certain areas. We needed an SEO partner who could help us be more consistent with our rankings.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Logic Inbound monitors our SEO efforts on our behalf. I’m not too technically-savvy, so I can’t tell you all of the details of their work. However, I can say with confidence that they’re doing all that they possibly can to raise our organic rankings. We have weekly meetings where they update us on how our site is performing depending on our locations. Over time, we’ve started to gain a better understanding of how SEO works, too.
They’ve also worked on two of my WordPress sites. The first site they built from scratch, which only took a week or so, and the second site just needed improvements.

I work with Hayk (COO) and Vlad (CEO).
How did you come to work with Logic Inbound?
We used to work with another company called coolblueweb on and off for a number of small SEO tasks. Financially, I couldn’t afford the work, and we were getting to the point where our sporadic projects weren’t delivering the results I was looking for. I decided to bite the bullet and find a way to pay for extra help.
coolblueweb no long did SEO work, so they turned me to three other companies, including Logic Inbound. In my interviews, I felt that Vlad and his company were the most realistic and honest about SEO because they didn’t promise me anything. Sure, they walked me through what they’d work on and how they’d get us to our goals, but nothing was guaranteed.

We’ve paid them about $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working with them since January 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
One of the great things about Logic Inbound is that they’re on top of problems. For example, Google My Business temporarily took down our listing because they changed their verification procedures. It was a frustrating situation, but their team walked us through the whole process and managed to get our listing back to the way it was before.
How did Logic Inbound perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re really helpful when it comes to walking me through the steps because they’ll explain it to me until I understand the process. If I call with a question, they’ll get back to me within 24 hours.
Aside from that, they’re great at checking in periodically via email or phone call to let us know how things are performing. It’s normally around once a week but can extend to about once a month. That’s only if I tell them that they don’t have to get back to me unless there’s a problem.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re an awesome group to work with. I consider these young men to be part of my family — that’s how good they’ve been in the way of looking after my businesses. They’ve taken this project as if it were their own, and I’m confident that they’re doing the best that they can for us.

I was the chemist and ambassador for a perfume house in Washington. Our products were sold in Nordstrom stores in the area.
What challenge were you trying to address with Logic Inbound?
We were looking to boost our presence on Google because more sales were coming through online channels than in-store. Our goal was to drive up sales.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were getting sales on our website, but it was clear that the platform wasn’t optimized for SEO or keywords such as “best rose fragrance” or a specific fragrance for the season. They found that we were spending our marketing dollars ineffectively and directed us toward e-commerce by optimizing our site for SEO-driven keywords. This was the first time we hired an SEO company, so they paved the way for our company to be successful in this capacity.
They made structural changes to the website and added content to target certain keywords on-site. Their team helped with off-site SEO as well.

Perfume sales through our Shopify website increased after a few months of working with them. We were able to see their work impact our sales through Google Analytics over time. SEO doesn’t happen overnight, but it definitely paid off.
After working with them, the structure of the site was better overall. Through the optimizations and titling changes they implemented, they catered best to customers who were searching for products like ours. The content writing was strong, and the site was easy to navigate.

We communicated through phone calls and email. Whenever I reached out to them, I found they were very responsive. It was nice having that quick back-and-forth.

Rather than pushing their services, they described what realistic results would look like for our team. They were super friendly and easy to work with.

They did an excellent job and the pricing was fair. However, it may be helpful for them to explain some tenants of SEO to clients that don’t know much about it. Other than that, they were phenomenally respectful and easy to work with.

If you want to drive traffic, SEO is the way to go. No one looks past the first page of Google results. During the engagement, it’s important to trust the process. They have the experience and have done a great job on past SEO projects. Save up for these services because they have a great ROI.

Logic Inbound’s project management is amazing. They’re constantly on top of things. Their communication is excellent because this is a difficult industry to explain to the layperson, and they do that very well. Logic Inbound is extremely detail-oriented. We are a CPR training and certification business. My position is co-owner teaching CPR classes and completing administrative tasks.

We were having difficulty getting people to see our website through web searches. We were typically on the third or fourth page of most web browsers. We hired Logic inbound to improve our SEO and our Google search ranking to be listed on the first page.
How did you select Logic Inbound and what were the deciding factors?
We had tried a few different SEO improvement businesses that were primarily out of state. After a few months of no changes in our search rankings or business activity, we started searching for local experts who could improve our SEO.
We found Logic Inbound to be exceedingly knowledgable about improving our SEO and explained how improvements needed to be made without a lot of jargon. They made sure we understood what needed to change, which is something that a lot of other companies we worked with or interviewed did not do.

We started off by talking about our goals and then they suggested we work on our keywords to improve search results and ranking. Next, they re-worked our website to better enhance our SEO, and they also created monthly posts targeting our potential clients. They also helped us with a new campaign that targeted businesses since the majority of our clients are businesses looking for us to travel to their worksite for training.

We had one main project manager that divided work up to two team members if I am remembering correctly. One who worked on updating our website and another who created posts.

After the first couple of months working with Logic Inbound, we saw a rapid increase, almost double from previous months, in registrations and calls for on-site business training. We also started showing up on the first page on Google and other browsing sites in the first few weeks of working with Logic Inbound.
What's more, is that our business continued to grow months after the first initial rise. They had met and exceeded our expectations like no other SEO business that we had worked with had. This company is exceptional.

Due to our busy schedule, we mostly communicate with Logic Inbound through email and phone calls. However, before our business took off, thanks to them, we would meet them at their workplace, or they would meet us at ours. They would always have a timeline of when certain projects would need to be completed and provide us with monthly reports. If you have a question, they are speedy to respond.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I am impressed by how knowledgeable this company is and how quickly the changes they made to our website had a huge impact on our business. They really seem to have this almost mystical understanding of how a website must be constructed to target your audience and improve web search ranking.

A key factor for me remaining a customer of Login Inbound for several years is their willingness to show me, and teach me, what they're doing on my behalf.
They don't operate secretively, or behind curtains. Their whole team is constantly showing me "this is how we do this."
Sam is constantly teaching me how to ad and modify my products listed on my site. So that I can now do lots of my own site maintenance. Most importantly they helped me rank VERY HIGH in Google searches we chose. My site showing up above my competition.

I hired Logic to assist in my google ads. It was a progression of work that ultimately taught me a lot about how google ads work and the best strategies for using them.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I put out an ad on Bark.com and received an enormous amount of interest. I had so many emails and calls almost immediately. One of which was Logic. I honesty appreciated how honest and transparent they were right from the beginning and didn't immediately start talking about their costs. I had a few meetings with them "free consultations" actually, to see if we were a good fit. I've never had any other companies in this field offer this. Genuinely nice guys.

Our project consisted of different strategies to optimize my CPC for my google ads. I was coached on the best way to create ad groups, campaigns, landing pages, etc. We met over zoom on a biweekly basis to go over the data to see if we needed to improve on different areas. I was always kept abreast of all the data and how to approach the changes.

I felt that the arrangement in which we worked together was very organized and thorough. We had standing biweekly zooms, followed by either notes about the call or a recording to go back and review. I was able to email or text anytime I had a question. The response time was almost immediate every time.

I enjoyed the flexibility and how accommodating they were about my schedule. I was impressed that after each zoom session, I was also given notes about the conversation that I could go back to review.
