Please describe your company and your position there.
I am co-founder, independent financial adviser Capital System Group in Ukraine.
For what projects/services did your company hire Livepage?
We were looking for a contractor to redesign our site. We needed a total makeover for a website that had been working since 2017. We had clear expectations about the result because we’d had website analytics, experience working via the site, etc. Our goals:
- The contractor should understand what we do and how we help our target audience.
- Increase targeted traffic.
- Warm up, engage and retain the target audience.
- The website should be up and running to serve us as a business tool.
- The website should be ready for SEO.
We also wanted the contractor to have a detailed roadmap with planned activities, not to miss anything in the process. Besides, it was important for us to have a chance to plan and prepare for the meetings. What we wanted was to delegate the marketing tasks to Livepage and continue doing our work. The result we aimed to achieve:
- Redesigned website that is set up for marketing and lead generating success.
- SEO recommendations and ToRs for developers to drive audience and improve site rankings.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
While we were looking for a contractor, one of the candidates showed that they didn’t have a clear plan, strategy, or any ToRs. As they said, “We’ll see how it goes.” We’d already had experience working with such a contractor. There was a small task connected with our website, and unfortunately, we were involved in the whole process. This influenced our workflow and paused our tasks. Besides, that contractor insisted that some tasks were impossible to do; however, we proved them wrong. All in all, it wasn’t a fit.
We contacted the Livepage team and another candidate — both businesses looked alike. The second candidate didn’t answer us. We liked the way Livepage communicated with us; we settled all the questions and discussed the workflow. We filled out the brief on 16 July 2021 and started aligning goals and tasks. Even then, we understood that we wanted to work with them. After Livepage had presented the workflow for our project, we made the final decision and the first payment on 21 July 2021.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Every step was planned ahead, and we liked this approach because we share this vision. We projected every step, made the necessary preparations, and just followed the plan. The Livepage team controlled all the tasks as we had an extensive scope of work and workload. This also lead to us being late with submitting materials and developing text copies. The Livepage team has their project deadlines and sticks to them; if a client can’t keep up with their pace, they will have to complete the tasks later.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Four people team worked with us.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The Livepage team prepared ToRs for our developers, and now it’s our task to make sure that everything is done accordingly. We’re satisfied with the quality of the ToRs. Though TOR is a hypothesis, we understand that it will be either proved or not by our work and the website performance. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet implemented the ToRs; thus, we can’t tell whether we reached our goals with the help of Livepage.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
100% effectivity
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were most impressed by their team's competence — every step was planned ahead. We liked this approach because we share this vision. We projected every step, made the necessary preparations, and just followed the plan.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Senior Marketing Manager at an Outsourcing Software Engineering Company. We deliver expert-level software engineering services including mobile and web development, QA, DevOps, cybersecurity, has expertise in different technologies such as AI and Data Science, BI, IoT, Blockchain, VR & AR, and all kinds of design and technology consulting.
For what projects/services did your company hire Livepage, and what were your goals?
Content strategy, inbound- and content marketing.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
When we contacted Livepage, we had been successfully using inbound marketing strategies. However, we were looking for a team that could accelerate our success and had strong experience in creating content for our domain. Livepage addressed this challenge, shared their views on content strategy, developed, and implemented efficient content plan.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
Livepage conducted several interviews to understand the critical areas of our business, our expertise and solutions, ICPs, priority areas of development, and case studies. They mapped all the information in the form of a Solar System. The Solar System helped us understand what kind of content clusters we have to work with, how they are connected, and our priorities.
Afterwards, the Livepage team carried out SEO research considering the current content and the one we planned to create. Next, the team developed content plans for key areas and graded the topics according to audience interest and willingness to engage with our representatives. Together, we selected and structured the topics based on traffic potential and competitor analysis. The team employs best practices in their approach. As a result, we established an effective and stable workflow for creating text requirements and content for our blog.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The Livepage team consisted of a marketer, SEO specialist, team lead, analyst, project manager, editor, proofreader, and 3 content writers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
In less than six months of cooperation, the team conducted several types of research, developed content plans for two business directions, and put four technical tasks and blog content into production. Besides, thanks to the Livepage team, there is a stable traffic growth of 30% a month and a steady growth of keyword positions on new pages. Last but not least, we've unleashed internal team resources and focused them on other tasks that fuel our further growth.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Probably we’ve found a long-term partner who will help us keep the positive dynamics, achieve, and exceed marketing KPIs.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They are client-centric, receptive to feedback, and obsessed with quality.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing critical. Usually they respect and meet the deadlines. However in rare occasions they sacrificed the deadlines in order to match the high-quality standards. It's acceptable but still the area for improvement for the future.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Co-Founder & CEO at Interexy. Interexy is an app development agency. We provide mobile & software development services to startups and companies in the US, Canada, Western Europe, Israel, and Australia
For what projects/services did your company hire Livepage?
Livepage helped us to develop and execute a digital marketing strategy.
How did you select Livepage and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Livepage because of their experience with IT companies. Besides, we liked the way they develop and implement marketing strategies. Livepage gets fully immersed into business, studies the results of customer acquisition and analyzes further steps.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
First, Livepage developed a marketing strategy according to the Solar System methodology. The team defined our Value Proposition, ICP, business architecture, direction for development in the digital area. Besides, they developed a new site structure.
Also, the Livepage team set up analytics so that we could track the success of the project. After that, the team started designing new landing pages according to the new site structure. At the same time, Livepage helped us with content marketing, link building, new landing page design, and current page redesign. Next, the team helped us launch a PPC campaign.
We decided to give it a try and test it within a short period of time. We wanted to analyze the behavioral indicators of new users after the site redesign and expansion of its structure. Finally, Livepage developed an email sequence. The team set up software to send emails automatically, helping us to return and manage leads.
How many resources from the Livepage team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The Livepage team consisted of: SEO specialists, PPC specialists, email specialists, copywriters (up to four specialists), a marketer, a PM, an analyst, an editor. We worked closely with the team of eight people. Sometimes the Livepage team could expand up to fifteen specialists.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Below is the organic traffic dynamics for the period of 12.13.20 – 09.30.21: 5,968 users in the last nine months (total number of visitors); 53 goals achieved since August. If we compare December 2020 and September 2021, we can see an increase in traffic from 218 to 1231 users per month.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was clear. Once a month, we had a planning session and discussed the results. The PM controlled the implementation of technical tasks by our developer. We used Notion for project management. There, we could track task statuses, see comments, and access the project documentation.
Once in three months, we met with the whole Livepage team to discuss the project development strategy and adjustments to the plan. This helped us all to be on the same page. In general, there were no problems with communication. The project developed very dynamically.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We appreciate the way they develop and implement marketing strategies based on their expertise in IT marketing. The process is highly organized, transparent, and dynamic.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
From our perspective, they did a great job.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I hold a position of Director of Marketing at Intellias, a Ukrainian digital solutions and technology services company. I provide strategic leadership and direction for Intellias inbound and outbound channels, orchestrating a variety of campaigns across the channels.
For what projects/services did your company hire Livepage, and what were your goals?
We started literally from scratch back in 2018
- we’ve just relaunched our website at the beginning of 2018, kick-started our blog and needed to launch content marketing at full scale. Nevertheless, we were really picky in vendor selection
- we had been already through not very fulfilling partnerships with SEO providers and on top of that required a very skilled partner to help us with Intellias verticalization efforts.
We relied on Yalantis’ references for the initial pool of the candidates (big kudos to them). We shortlisted three vendors, however after a trial period two of them were not able to meet the requirements. Our needs were quite demanding given our major focus on specific verticals, our ambitious yearly KPIs for inbound marketing and limited content production capacity at that specific period of time.
How did you select Livepage and what were the deciding factors?
They presented a solid plan for a 3-month trial with them and demonstrated their readiness to do a deep dive into our industry portfolio. I also liked great attention they devoted to analyzing our historical data, including contact requests. What influenced on our decision most is that they had a clear vision how this project would evolve over the next 3,6,12 months.
We had clear milestones we would like to reach. I liked how these guys think strategically. Our initial ambitions back in 2018 were more than modest, given freshly relaunched website, recent kick-start of a blog and some legacy problems from the previous vendors – to grow organic traffic and referral traffic by the factor of 2x by the end of 2018 and boost website conversions up to 25-30%.
Important was also to improve the ranking positions for the initial set of keywords that were ranking inbetween top 20-top 50.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
We started with a quite limited scope of technical audit, keyword research and semantic core creation as well as content marketing. While most of the other SEO agencies were majorly focused on technical SEO and improvement of the backlink profile, Livepage stood out of the competition with content audit and outlines for the new and existing content.
Automotive as one of Intellias key verticals wasn’t an easy topic to tackle. Besides getting into the essence of this industry expertise, Livepage did a great job with setting up the structure, categories and marrying our expertise with trends and search traffic.
They also did a very good job with analytics, providing us with actionable insights on engagement, navigation gaps, conversion improvements. Between 2018 and 2020 Intellias did a giant leap with regards to maturity, sophistication of services and performance of our marketing channels.
Nowadays, Intellias is the only large software engineering vendor in Ukraine that receives such a significant share of the new business through inbound. Having a high-performing SEO vendor is a key to success here.
We started small with mainly operational tasks and they as a partner have grown a lot with us during these years. Mid 2019 was decisive for our cooperation, with us taking it the strategic level with digital promotion of the service offering, namely in financial services and banking.
We’ve collaborated on a full-cycle model starting as early as pain points identification, needs clusterization, competitors’ landscape mapping, digital offering concept design and proceeding with organic and paid promotion across the channels based on CDJ flow. It definitely opened a completely new set of opportunities for us.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have an assigned project manager – Razak, who is excellent in managing all the scope and stakeholders. We also contracted from 2 to 5 project members depending on the scope we were working with. Their functions included on-page SEO, linkbuilding, paid and marketing people (for our integrated campaigns).
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
If we compare our traffic YoY 2019 to 2020 we can see around 50% increase. If we would benchmark the very start of the cooperation and nowdays, we’ve grown by 11x, which is a major achivement for a company with a major focus on the vertical domains (and hence niche content and service offerings).
Around 30-40% of our target keywords are in top 10 across our main geographies (North America, DACH, GCC region). When we talk about conversions, even given the post-covid economy and decreased or postponed demand, inbound still accounts for almost half of our new generated business.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We use Worksection for project management and time planning. I find it really handy to be able to track all the tasks and progress in one place. We complement this with regular email communication, monthly reporting and a weekly sync on Skype. For strategic planning we organized onsite workshops – both in Lviv and Dnipro
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their attitude, their people, their experience across the domains, their ability to work on strategic level and run end-to-end campaigns – this is what really sets them apart.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing comes to my mind. Livepage team was able to accommodate to the turbulence associated with our growth, quickly changing priorities and aggressive KPIs. Sometimes we missed a deadline or two, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Marketing Consulting for Software Development Company
"They have a fresh view, and we can go to them to get a second opinion from a party outside of our organization."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a mid-sized software development agency working mainly on blockchain and machine learning projects. I’ve been working in the company for six years, starting as a sales manager and now serving as chief business development officer. I’m responsible for all marketing operations, marketing strategy, and sales operations end results.
What challenge were you trying to address with Livepage?
We started considering a new marketing strategy at the end of 2019. We analyzed the results of our workings in the company, and saw that we were mainly receiving requests for fully-managed services from individual entrepreneurs. Those didn’t always result in long-term engagements, although a big percentage of them did thrive and grow together with us.
We were lacking marketing hands, so we decided to go to an agency to increase the amount of team extension requests to dedicated client teams.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve had three phases, and we’ve just started the last one. The first phase was consulting, where Livepage made an analysis and gave us their research on several markets and niches that contained our target groups.
They also performed an analysis of our competitors’ PPC advertising, and they made an SEO analysis concerning our main competitors. They presented a report presenting a lot of different needs and recommended an overall strategy to us for shifting from fully-managed to dedicated teams.
The second phase was a preparation of all marketing campaigns, which we’ll be launching in the third phase, on the 1st of June 2020.
What is the team composition?
They have different departments, including marketing, PPC, and SEO. There’s a main marketer on their side, who organized all the communication with their company. We have a project manager, who’s mainly responsible for setting up tasks and deadlines and discussing payments and deliverables with us. We can speak to any member of the team if we need it, but we’re in contact with 2–3 people on a day to day basis.
How did you come to work with Livepage?
They were initially found by our CEO, back in 2016. We chose Livepage because they had quite a good reputation on the Ukrainian market, specifically for IT companies. They had a very good brand in our niche, and there weren’t many agencies specializing in working with software development providers.
They had good case studies with mobile developers, having worked with some of them for five years, and bringing very good results. I also heard about Livepage from marketers at different local conferences.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $5,000–$7,000 on the current engagement. The spend for 2020 is planned to be around $25,000, not including the PPC budget. It’s strictly the cost of running the marketing campaigns we’re delegating to them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the first engagement with Livepage in May 2016, and it ran for about four months. We stopped because marketing takes a lot of time and effort, and I was more engaged in the sales process back then, bringing in initial sales and growing the sales team. The current engagement started in early-February 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ll be starting the first campaign in June 2020, and I’ll be able to share some metrics then. We’ve evaluated the quality of the marketing pitches and of the creative content they’ve written, and their level of understanding of our audience, and we are very satisfied with their work so far.
How did Livepage perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re a little bit lacking in this respect. Everything is correct in terms of budget, but they haven’t always included the time needed for reviews into the timelines. Even though we’ve given them quick feedback, they were still late on some deliverables.
They’re based in another city, so communication is online only. We mainly use Hangouts and Skype for communication, and they’re always online and very responsive. We sometimes send them feedback or questions in late evenings, and they’re still very responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a fresh view, and we can go to them to get a second opinion from a party outside of our organization. Back in February 2020, when few people had heard about the coronavirus, they suggested that we target supply-chain retailers. We’ve been growing our expertise in supply chain, track and trace, and inventory management solutions. They suggested that we target not only startups and individual entrepreneurs, but also big retailers.
We weren’t thinking of it as a good idea in February, but, when the crisis came, there were a lot of measures that supermarkets were pushed to implement. Some of them were quite innovating, adopting chatbots, delivery websites, etc., which we saw a huge demand for. It was impressive that Livepage suggested this idea beforehand.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve in terms of project planning, to assign someone on their side to learn all about our company and drive all processes. At the moment, we still need someone on our end for that role.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Software development and other IT organizations should still have a marketing manager dedicated to working with the agency, who can follow all processes. These aren’t turnkey solutions where we give them money and they deliver everything we need.
It’s day-to-day work with a group of people. Our work has many aspects, and there should be someone in place to link the customer insights from our sales team to the agency in charge of content creation and advertising. I’ve heard of cases where they were working with the CEO or the C-level management of a company, but that’s quite hard. A dedicated marketing manager is very good to have.

Livepage is a well-known company in Ukrainian digital marketing community. We read the company's articles and were interested in getting similar/better results.
Describe the project in detail.
Together with Livepage team, we developed a content marketing strategy that we successfully execute for 1.5 years. More details are covered in case study published on the official Livepage website.

For our part, we always tried to implement all the tasks that Livepage gave us as fast as possible, but it was not always the case. the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an electrical and gas appliance repair company. We repair both home and commercial appliances. Currently, we have ten employees.
What challenge were you trying to address with Livepage?
We needed our company's website to rank higher search engine results.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, Livepage analyzed our website to figure out the exact problems and identify what it was missing. After that process was complete, they wrote out a full scope of everything we needed to develop for our website. They indicated the specific services they planned to provide.
Livepage developed strategies for SEO and PPC marketing campaigns to improve our ranking in organic and paid search results. They also support our email marketing efforts. One of the team’s web resources uses proprietary technology to optimize our company’s group-specific website. They also create new content to feature. The team works on securing backlinks to our website. They compiled a list of publishers to target for these link building efforts.
What is the team composition?
I worked with 4–5 different people from Livepage. The company has several departments with managers for each one.
How much have you invested with them?
In total, we spend between $2,000–$3,000 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since October 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
All of Livepage’s efforts are helping our company rank better in search engines. They send us monthly reports to highlight our progress. Based on diagrams that display metrics on web traffic and rankings, our traffic is climbing higher every month.
How did Livepage perform from a project management standpoint?
Our company is located in Toronto, Canada. Livepage worked on our project remotely from their offices in Ukraine. All of our communication is through email and Skype. Once a month, we hold a video conference. At least one of the managers participates, if not the entire group of them.
During these meetings, we discuss the development we need to do moving forward. They highlight features we should add to our website and how to improve it. After identifying problems, they propose solutions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I've been pleased to see the web traffic metrics rise. We're receiving many more phone calls and new business than we did before we started working with Livepage. Within a year of working together, our company has already grown four or five times larger. There's always room for improvement, but I have no complaints.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The seven-hour time zone difference between our offices made it a bit hard to communicate. Sometimes, it might have been difficult for them to write all the content for our advertising materials in English.
The client was pleased with Livepage's services, especially with the recommendations they provided to improve website performance. The team communicated well and managed each task efficiently, establishing a seamless workflow. They also planned ahead, so the client knew what to expect throughout.
