I’m the operations director of a hydraulics company that specializes in the distribution of hydraulic components in the UK.
What challenge were you trying to address with Little Media Agency?
We needed to raise our company’s profile in the marketplace, so we were looking for someone to help launch our brand on four different digital platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with a discussion about the best platforms to launch our advertising campaigns and identified ways to present the content, whether it’d be our products, services, or news about the business.
They then told us that we would have reports on the performance of our ads that contains the traffic, posts engagement, and how successful each post is.
Apart from that, they’re also providing us with video production and scriptwriting as they’re always innovating their approach to coming up with new content.
Moreover, they help us with our Google AdWords campaigns and the continued development of our website. Right now, we’re in the early stages of building an e-commerce site, specifically coming up with the design layout and content.

They’re good from a project management perspective. They push the project through and ensure their tasks are delivered on time and on budget.

Little Media Agency has improved the perception people have about our company. Being a private GP, we have to show customers that we’re worth it as a valuable and stable business, and they’re helping us achieve that perception.
They send us monthly reports, on which we can see that the interaction with our followers is increasing. Overall, we’re happy with them because we’re getting responses, and we’re seeing results.

Little Media Agency is great in terms of scheduling. They meet their deadlines and even deliver much earlier than expected. Another great aspect of our engagement is communication. We have monthly video meetings, during which they give us summaries on what’s going on, which areas are stable and which need more pushing, and more. We communicate regularly through email, and they always reply quickly. Additionally, every time we ask them to do something, they do it very quickly.

Little Media Agency is great at communicating. If there’s an emergency, they’re always there to reply, even if it’s out of office hours. We trust them a lot.

Work with them because it’s worth it. It’s important to trust the marketing team that you’re working with. They’re trustworthy, can provide advice, and deliver results; they’re absolutely worth it.

LMA was contracted to work with us in partnership to support our client on their social media channels.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I liked the level of communication LMA gave. They were always contactable, assigned more than one staff member to the client and were open to communicating with the client where they preferred to, in this case, WhatsApp.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Content had to change quickly as the government kept updating the rules and it was important that existing and new patients alike were kept informed and confusion minimised. LMA did a stellar job in this regard.

Two key staff members Sara and Kurt. The MD and senior account manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The complaint numbers dropped significantly and the clinic received a lot more online bookings from social channels like Facebook.

Very effective. The client prefers to communicate with LMA via WhatsApp but we prefer to communicate via email and phone. LMA were excellent in bridging that gap and make for excellent partners for any agencies considering working with them.

Their level of attentiveness and care is outstanding.

I like to think there is always room for improvement but I'd struggle to suggest something here.

I’m the director at Hipposerve Digital Services. We’re a web hosting company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Little Media Agency?
We were a startup with a quite specific brand. In using web hosting companies for years, I discovered how technical-oriented they were and how that scared and stopped people from using them. We wanted to promote a friendly brand so we approached Little Media to develop and promote it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We wanted to make a brand that appeared fun and happy, that our people enjoyed working here. The project itself was to create social media content for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The goal of these posts was to convey facts about our company, current offers, and our products in an accessible way. All of their work is organic right now. We’ll lead into the paid stuff as we find our niche. Already, we’ve seen that Twitter and LinkedIn are better for us through the monthly reports they offer. This helps us see where things are working well and where the best places to spend our money are.
In terms of whose creating stuff, it’s been a mixture. We gave them basic stuff in the beginning, writing for characters and using color schemes we created. Then, they started taking snippets from our blog and making video clips for us. They’ve also done their own research around the topic and building them into our content. The people we work with on their side love to create stuff. We’re enjoying what they’re producing.

They have Sara (Director) at the top, who I deal with on a day-to-day basis. She actually had us do some web hosting for them as well, so it’s been a two-way partnership. They’ve also assigned Jack (Digital Marketing Assistant), as our creative agent, developing our deliverables. He’s good with the cartoon-esque side of things, which is exactly what we want.

When the Coronavirus quarantine started here we literally couldn’t leave the house so I joined up with a business coach on Google to get some business training. Sara was presenting on social media training during a webinar and I contacted her.

We’ve been working with them since June 2020. We’re tailoring the work now since we’ve found which works for us the best. Right now, we have people waiting in a local business group for our next post. They’re excited about the creative we’re sending out.

We’ve seen great increases in engagement frequency on Twitter and LinkedIn, though not as much on Facebook so we’re pulling back from that platforms. Engagements are increasing each month. Leads and conversions and web traffic have all started to increase as well. They told us it wouldn’t happen instantly and we’re now starting to see growth.

I’ve had to do very little in terms of project management. They produced a portfolio of their process and what they were going to do at the start, as well as the timeline it would take. Breaking it down month-by-month, we schedule what posts they’re going to make. We have an ongoing process, not a series of major projects, so they work through a straightforward set of procedures. It works for them and it’s simple for me. We’re moving forward nicely.
Prior to the pandemic we would have communicated face-to-face but now we’re doing monthly Zoom meetings. We also send emails back and forth to manage little things. For example, a post went out incorrectly describing our prices and they fixed it after a quick email to them. They have great turnaround times.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve listened to what I wanted. I probably didn’t convey it in the best possible way but they got into it, researching our industry and pulling information from my website. The posts they’ve created look like they were created by my company, from the color scheme to the font. It doesn’t look like it’s an add-on.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’d love to have some face-to-face training and an opportunity to meet the people working on our project in-person. I understand that can’t happen yet, but they do offer those in-person opportunities during non-pandemic times.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear idea in your mind of the message you want to get across. Mine was quite clear and they were able to execute. Don’t be scared to say you’d like to change something, either. They’ll respond well to it. Also, know your target audience and selling points, otherwise you may be disappointed in what they produce. They can’t read minds, after all.
